Hands down the best McDonald's in Visalia! The food is always fresh and hot! They haven't messed up my order yet and they will make custom Mcfraps depending on your flavor choice! (I recommend adding Oreo cookie to the mocha Mcfrap.... YUM!) The kids that work here are very friendly and the place has been kept up. It's a McDonalds...I was staying the night on my north. I "Yelped" the nearest food source...it popped up 0.2 miles from the hotel. About a 7 min walk on a beautiful Saturday morning at about 10am. Ordered the #3 Breakfast. Order was filled perfectly within 2-min. I sat at a clean table. Staff was cleaning floors. I was in and out in about 15 min and was on my way. January 3rd, 2:38 p.m. I would give this place zero stars if I could. The young woman working the drive thru was unbearably rude. She was not happy to be working, was not helpful, and because she was pushing us to finish ordering, her listening skills were poor. We had a miscommunication in the drive thru and did not receive our entire order. (We had not checked the bag before returning home.) We called to explain what had happened, and whoever answered the phone was extremely out of line. Instead of suggesting a solution, the woman on the phone flat out told us that we were wrong, and basically called us liars, stating "that's not what you ordered." Her customer service was a joke and she ended up hanging up on us shortly after raising her voice stating she was the manager. I will never be returning to this location. read more

This is the absolute WORST McDonald's I have ever been to. They have never gotten my order right. I have to order my fries without salt or they are given to me at room temperature more often then not. They don't seem to understand what substitutions mean. Also they don't seem to get the difference between sweet and sour sauce and sweet chili sauce. If the other McDonald's restaurants weren't so much farther away, I would never go to this one again. I gotta say this McDonalds is the slowest I've ever been too. Walked into the lobby, saw about 15 people waiting for there orders. I was second in line, but stood for about 5 minutes, decided, to hit the drive thru. This is a review about the customer service and the above the board competency and friendliness of Nora. (I believe this was her name) We used the drive through and had not only specialty orders but added on after finishing, Nora was patient, helpful, and helped us out by changing the order around to save us money. Obviously if you eat at McDonald's you know what to expect from the food and whether you like it or not it's typically standard no matter which one is gifted with your patronage. The order being correct and the customer service are not standard, the other McDonalds in Visalia could learn several things from Nora, she's awesome. read more

Slowest McDonalds I've been to by far. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru for a latte, and when I got to the pickup window they told me they ran out and if I wanted to try something else. At this point I didn't want anything, but settled for the alternative choice for the mere fact that I had waited all that time. Didn't even offer to give it to me on the house, which I felt would have been most appropriate. Very disappointed, however it is McDonalds so that standards shouldn't be so high, but still. And I highly recommend that McDonalds should have a 3rd drive thru window, so you can return all the wrong/crappy stuff they gave you. read more

This place is a dump. I remember I time when this McDonald's was winning awards and was a great place to take your family. It's pretty sad when I have to wipe down my own table and the shift manager is sitting across the way talking with other employees. I wish I could give 0 stars. Started with McDonalds getting my order wrong and myself not noticing until I returned home...it happens about 50% of the time, but my fault for not checking. Called manager and she was pleasant and offered to comp a meal for during lunch time. She said to mention her name and there will be no problem. Returned for compensation and "Team Lead" Arlene, gave me nothing but attitude. Conveniently no store manager on duty and unable to contact supervisor or manager by phone. The guy that took my order that morning was there to confirm the mishap and Arlene was rude, gave attitude, and had the audacity to ask for me to return the wrong meal I had received that morning. Very poor form. Do not recommend. Never compensated as promised by manager by phone. Future advice, hold up entire line in drive through to double check their "fast" erroneous service. read more

I was asked to pull forward and park when I was at the second window. I could see the workers filling orders through the window and cars were leaving that were after me. After 11 minutes I locked my car and went to door but couldn't go in because my infant was still in the car and I wouldn't let her out of my sight. I told the counter I had been waiting over 11 minutes. They asked each other if anyone had taken out the order for the car waiting-- then she turned and said, " We are waiting for your fries." When I stopped one time for a cone, I appreciated that they had placed a big sign up to say the machine was out of order, so I didn't waste my time standing in line. They always make a nice big cone!
