I used to work here. To say that this place is and has always been falling apart is an understatement. Customer satisfaction has never been high as evident from many of these reviews and the employees are sad, tired, and ridden of life. This is not because of the employees being "lazy" or even the management being bad. This entirely is the fault of RLMK Inc. the franchise in charge of all of the McDonalds in this area. Time and time again I witnessed first hand how awfully they allowed the mistreatment of me and my fellow coworkers. I'm talking blatant breaking of child labor laws, purposely understaffing, verbal abuse and gaslighting when employees try to speak out against it. I'm informing everyone of this so that people understand the extent at which this franchise goes to to make the McDonald's experience awful so that your anger can be directed at the right entity. These employees are simply trying to get through their understaffed busy shift. Because of RLMK's refusal to hire or schedule an adequate amount of workers, the blame of the long wait times is shifted to the employees. When you have an understaffed workplace, this means the management has no choice but to overwork their reliable employees. Some of these employees being minors who by California law are not allowed to work more than 23 hours a week. I saw minors racking up as much as 40 hours a week due to this understaffing issue. And you may be wondering, why would they not just hire more people? Because hiring more people means paying more people and RLMK would rather have a bunch of bad yelp reviews and a handful of abused employees than make work conditions and customer satisfaction better because that hurts their profits. They will go to the moon and back to ensure that their employees are given the bare minimum for their work. I specifically have a bizarre memory of being told that i need to leave halfway through my shift because "labor is too high" (which basically means they are not making enough money to pay for the amount of employees working at a given time). This was confusing to me because on top of being understaffed at the time we were in the middle of a rush. They were basically telling me that I had to abandon my coworkers and wish them luck as they struggle to get through the rush with one less person. Why did they do this? Most likely because just a week earlier, McDonalds corporate required all McDonald's franchises in California to raise their crew member wages by a dollar. It was not just me, but multiple employees who had to leave throughout the weeks that followed because "labor is too high" all over a $1 increase. I call bullshit. This is clearly a ploy to make it seem as if increasing minimum wage is going to tank their business to deter any more increases in wages. But make no mistake, increasing wages is not the silver bullet that this establishment needs to solve all its problems. These employees are mentally and physically traumatized from the constant alarms, grill burns, and verbal abuse from customers that they get on a daily basis. This McDonald's needs a completely new franchise that actually gives even just a little bit of a shit about its employees. It was a shock to me when I first began working here that I was required to "clock out" for 10 minute breaks. No other job I've worked before or since then have ever required me to punch into the system that I am taking a 10 minute break, but I guess RLMK wants to ensure that their human machines aren't taking an 11 or god forbid a 12 minute break! RLMK Inc does not care about making McDonald's a good place for customers or employees, they only care about maximizing profits for themselves. In fact, they've even allowed lawsuit after lawsuit against them to pile up, the most recent being Vazquez vs RLMK Inc. if they actually cared about anything other than money, maybe they would take these lawsuits as a chance to make a change for the better, but clearly they have not. So to summarize, RLMK refuses to hire an adequate amount of people which has led to understaffing. This is what has led to the very high wait times for your food. The understaffing has led to management within the McDonald's to overwork their good employees and break child labor laws which has led to them being physically and mentally traumatized from the job. RLMK finds every opportunity to oppose workers getting paid more and will go as far as sabotaging its own store for a few hours to prove to its workers that they don't deserve to be paid more. And despite resistance from employees, managers, customers, and lawsuits against them, they refuse to change their ways because it would be at the expense of their sweet sweet profits. I advise everyone going to any McDonald's establishment in this area to treat the employees with respect and patience. They are trying their damn hardest with the subhuman conditions they have to deal with. read more

My husband and I went to the drive thru. Our total was 6.04. My husband asked if I could count out 1.04 in change for him. I counted 3 quarters 2 dimes 1 nickel and 4 pennies. My husband recounted it. We get to the first window and My husband handed a five-dollar bill and the 1.04 in change to the lady. She closed the window and we waited for her to count it out. After some time passed he just drove to the second window. The lady at the second window asked what we got. My husband repeated the order back she then told us we still owed a dollar. My husband explained that we gave her a five-dollar bill and 1.04 in change. She left and came back and said we only gave her 5.25. She then told us she would refund us back 5.25. He explained again that we gave her the right amount. He asked to speak to a manger on two separate occasions which was declined both times. She leaves and comes back and throws the money back at us in which some change hit the ground. The change she gave back totaled 5.31. He asked again to speak to the manager at this time she walks up and says "We have cameras here." He said OK can you check again. She then said have a good day rudely and shut the window. It was very embarrassing. We have never been treated this way before. They told us multiple times that she wouldn't steal a dollar. My husband said he never accused her of stealing only that she must have miscounted our money. She did make a mistake, and in return they accused us of stealing. The manager was especially rude to us. There were a lot of cars behind us observing the entire ordeal and in the end, we left embarrassed, with no food, and less money than when we arrived. I came here for breakfast. I have been to McDonalds all over Ca and in other states. I ordered an egg McMuffin with scrambled eggs. The young lady at the register said "we can't do it". I use to come here every so often before the remodel and the food was ok. On my first visit after the remodel, the food was horrible with a staff to match the taste of their food. McDouble was over cooked, McChichen was extremely dry and my drink was wrong. I thought to myself maybe it was just a one time occurrence. Visited 2 weeks later and I didn't think it was possible, but the food got worse. As I choked town the McChicken, I offered the McDouble to a homeless guy nearby and he wouldn't take it because apparently he's heard the same stories and Feedback. Wow. Never again from this location, no matter how desperate or hungry I am for fast food. I always give a second chance before I review and rate. The WORST customer service I have ever received. The person taking my order was extremely rude, I asked to speak to the manager and the same person acted like the manager. Went to the pay window and the cashier was FaceTiming her friend, after waiting for her and being ignored we drove through. Not sure if she was on the clock but if she wasn't she should not be in view of the customer where she's on her phone. Asked for a cup holder since I had ordered multiple drinks, his response was an eye roll. The food quality was terrible! Ordered 50 chicken nuggets and the nuggets look completely refríes. If you enjoy reading, here is a more in depth review: Let's face it, if you go to McDonald's for the food you either have small children or are mentally unstable. I frequent our many McDonald's locations in Visalia to purchase carbonated sugar in a styrofoam cup. I expect nothing more than to receive my item in a healthy amount of time and pay no more than $1.00 and some change. As a result of their brilliant marketing, McDonald's has convinced the general public of two fallacies: 1. They're cheap. 2. They're fast. Because of fallacy number 2, I regularly order my carbonated sugar inside the store rather than wait behind bus-fulls of screaming children who are mysteriously excited to eat a flabby amalgamation of preservatives and sugar (not judging). Today, I went inside the McDonald's location on Mooney and Caldwell and was greeted by smashed French Fries on the floor, soda residue on most surfaces in sight, and not a single clean booth. It was offensive. I felt completely uncomfortable even standing in line. On top of all of that, the soda comes out of the fountain at a rather warm temperature, rendering anything less than a full cup of ice useless. Avoid at all costs. read more

At 1050 am, we went through your drive through and the first girl was very nice when my wife paid her. The second blond girl was extremely rude. Never said one word, gave my wife the drinks with a severe attitude and closed the window. She later opened the window and practically threw the bag at my wife and closed the window, once again without saying one word. There was a long line of cars behind us because dining is closed due to the current crises. As we drove off I noticed we were missing part of our order. Went through McDonald's Drive thru (Mooney Blvd.) today about 2:30. Usually the drive thru is really slow, I guess I lucked out because it's 4th of July, 2021. Ordered a #3, Double Quarter Hamburger Meal, Large with a Dr. Pepper. Burger was good and fries. The only problem with the large fry is the order was like a medium fry. Pretty skimpy on the fries when paying $14.80 for a large meal. If I wasn't driving I would have checked the bag like I usually do to make sure everything I ordered was in the bag. If the large fry container wasn't full I would have asked them to fill up the large fry. People shouldn't get cheated because they go through a drive thru. read more

So, we parked in the parking lot and waited roughly 10 minutes before going inside. I inquired about our order and was told that the staff looked for us but we were not parked in the designated spot. This was the absolute worst customer service I have ever had in any restaurant!!I I waited at least 10 minutes in a drive thru line with only 2 cars in front of me to order ahead of me... and not necessarily was this an issue with the business ...I placed my order being told that there was no sweet tea I explained I did not drink soda and I was offered the option of power aid which I appreciated...I then asked if the 13 cookies for 5.00 was available and I was told yes with no explanation that I would have to wait for them I paid at one window and then I was told at the pickup window that I would need to wait for my order that only fries were ready I explained to employee working that I was about to run out of gas (gas station across the street and going through a fast food drive thru I did think I would be ok since my mileage reader had 30 miles left showing but I was running my air it was quite warm outside)she said 4 minutes so I pulled aside and waited 8 minutes before going in still nothing ready and I again explained I was about to run out of gas waiting well over the time told to me after I paid for food that I still had not recieved and I was told again 4 minutes I asked for a return of my money and was basically laughed at by an employee whom called herself tia no name tag was visible she repeated that they drop them when I ordered them and that takes 4 minutes and obviously that was a lie because now 15 minutes later I still have no food and I'm so angry at the lack of concern by this team member that I have to wonder why her and the team working were so comfortable with laughing in my face... absolutely furious...I will never visit this business again and will be sure to share my story as often as I can about the worst experience at a McDonald's EVER!!!as I was driving away with there customer service representative on the line this awful employee walks my bag to me (which I fed to my dogs not the cookies had to trash those) to afraid to eat after the experience I just had inside the business what a waste of time ...money... and what started as a good day.that star rating should have a minus in front of it! read more
