Went to McDonald's ordered a Big Mac was told to wait at the side until the Big Macs were ready got my Big Mac got back on the freeway and they had put no Patties on the Big Mac the only thing that was there was cheese and lettuce. Went back to McDonald's showed them what they did they were very rude to me. Had to wait almost another 20 minutes before I got a Big Mac again. I ate lunch with a friend today at this location. it was clean. I ordered from the kiosk for an eat-in meal (which means they bring the food to you at your table with the designated number). I waited for alittle while and checked on my order, not ready. I went back and waited some more, presuming they would bring it to me, bit alas I was wrong. I went back up to the counter (by this time a large group of kids had come in to eat). I checked on my order and the manager or assistant manager was very rude and said 'I called your number twice!' I was surprised because they are supposed to bring it to the table per the triangle table number. I was not happy. she went and got some food- the fries were okay, not great and the sandwich was very old but by then I was very very hungry so I ate it. I lost some keys there on my way to Utah. I called and asked to talk to the manager, & he says, "That's me, what do you need?" and he sounded very busy, so I told him my name first of all, and asked him his name, at which he refused to tell me, which is always a bad sign. I asked his name again, and he refused to tell me again, and said "who is this?!", so I repeated my name (at which point he remembered that I had already told him, and his voice got very agitated). He started yelling at me "what's the reason for your call?!", and I told him I was just looking for some keys! I can't believe I was actually talking to the manager, because he didn't even let me finish talking, he was so rude! And he hung up on me! So unprofessional!!! VERY FRIENDLY STAFF - ONLY MCDONALDS BETWEEN IDAHO AND RENO I consistently make the drive between Boise and Reno and almost consistently stop here. They recently remodeled it a year ago and the facility is great if you have kids who need to play during a stop on a road trip - they have a playplace. The food is way hit or miss, I've probably stopped here over a dozen times. Have I had better McDonald's? Yea, but something is very fascinating about this one. Winnemucca is a small town that only sees passer-bys. You can tell who is a local and who is a suburban mom on a road trip. The staff is SUPER friendly and it's nice to see a genuinely happy, friendly face on the road. read more

I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was burned, I ordered two double quarter pounders and they gave me singles, the fries were cold and stale. I was the only person in line and had to pull over and wait 20 minutes for my food, yet the food was cold and burned and tasted like it was sitting for 10 hours. I had several problems with this McDonalds. The service was horrible. The whole staff was extremely slow and not friendly at all. They are all about 200 pounds overweight so that could explain a lot of it. They gave me cold food including the fries. I talked to the manager and after her rolling my eyes and telling me that is the temp the are served at, I finally convinced her to give me fresh fries. Ok. This is a McDonalds, so it seems fair to rate it as compared to other fast food places. The facility is easily accessed from the freeway with the typical huge sign. Plenty of easy parking and well lit with bright LED lighting outside. The inside seems relatively recently remodeled with good seating and a good layout. We are on a road trip so the play area was awesome. The kids got to stretch their legs and get some energy out in a well lit and air conditioned room/dining area. Bathrooms were clean and big enough. The seating area is large enough and spread out so it doesn't seem crowded. The staff was ready and helpful. Food served as asked for and in a timely manner. Modification such as extra this or no that were accommodated without delay. So no complaints. While we generally try to avoid fast food unless there is compelling reason to need to get food and go, our needs were met and food served and we were back on the road much better off than before. read more

Don't bother. They didn't read the orders and gave my husband's meal to the person in the drive-thru and gave their meal to him, and the fries were cold once they got it straightened out. I got the two sausage and egg McMuffins deal, thinking that at 2:30 in the afternoon, they'd make them fresh. Nope. Hard as bricks, so they're likely leftover from the main breakfast service hours. Got introduced to the new kiosk that has replaced so many human workers who demanded the high minimum wage. We didn't get into the food until we were already on the road and were angry to discover that we had gotten only sausage, no egg- the sandwiches actually looked and tasted like cardboard, 2 bites and it got tossed. Terrible service! We waited in the drive through line for 50 minutes, and when we finally got to the window the guy asked us what our order was! Then he said "oh I just want to tell you I have a lot of orders, I have a lot of orders" when there was ten cars in line. Most of the employees were sitting on the floor talking. We go here because its right off the free way as we travel to an from Boise. The system has just been automated. It is always busy and they seem to get the food out quickly. But the facilities aren't always keep clean. It is a bit tough since they have so many customers, but take the extra effort to wipe down a table or two. read more

Play place is closed due to the fact there is no air conditioning in the room and it's too hot to be in. The town is desert and the only kid friendly dining in a town in the middle of nowhere. You would think this would be a priority. While my cashier was super nice and the place was very clean. No help was offered while trying to juggle small kids, and getting drinks. Which Is McDs policy to do so. I even stopped a manager to ask for help with a high chair. She waved towards the area they were in and walked off. The food was cold and soggy. The tea has no taste, it's like drinking sugar water, employees are all about quantaty not quality.
