Ever since the implementation of curbside during the ladder stages of COVID and vast improvements of the app this store has actually done really well. This store is not perfect and some employees really need to be pulled aside and talked to about their professionalism. Since I am an impatient person and I hate going through drivethroughs anyhow. We use curbside almost exclusively. Aside from the added convience of curbside, it is easier to have issues fixed with incorrect orders and you don't feel trapped like you do in the drive-through. The one real consistent problem I am seeing is the front counter being unattended and people in the kitchen don't pay attention to the monitors so waiting does become an issue. The other issue I have is with the fact that there is too much of a reliance on the Kiosks for orders. Those two things really are taking the service out of customer service. The one thing I can say is that the people we have dealt with have been very kind and curious (even though one of the employees reamed us after he was reamed about an order we had). All said and done, this really isn't a bad store if you just take the time to learn about how they work and who you talk to and don't. It doesn't matter what I say nobody's fixing anything. The place is filthy. The service is subpar, there's nowhere to eat outside. Filthy so the employees sit on crates. You know around the back of the restaurant which is so unsightly make a break room inside the building, and tell some of your employees to stop smoking. I don't want to smell that when I walk in. Service, no one is ever at the front counter, slow service. Ordered at 905 am 918 came out, was warm at best. And no more refills. I plan to make it my mission to get people to eat at Jack in the Box, they my be as slow, but the food is hot and I get as much as I want to drink. The service here is basically non existent. We were at the drive thru, which was a little busy at 10am on Wednesday morning. There was a car in front is us that had finished their order and was moving up in line. We weren't even to the speaker to order before the person had repeated themselves "order when you're ready". When we arrive at the first window to pay, we were ignored for 5mins... and whatever was helping us as the window was incredibly rude. The manager at the second window basically threw our food at us. Every single time I order iced vanilla coffee, they never add the vanilla syrup in it and my coffee will taste bland. It got to the point where I had to buy vanilla syrup on my own just to add some in my cup. read more

Ever since McDonalds started doing curb side and the app has been decent it has made things a little easier. We don't care if we have to wait now. Since the store tends to be severely understaffed during the weekdays it has allowed us to be patient which is so one thing that most people are missing with the drive through. read more

This place always seems to be busy and is hit and miss. Sometimes I will have a good experience other times they'll get our order wrong and it turns into an ok experience. I took a chance after reading the previous reviews. I'm glad I did. I arrived early in the morning 0540 in the drive-thru. I was third in line. My order was simple. I was at the window in 4 minutes. Very surprising to see only one staff member working the front. I had the order in hand in less than 6 minutes from ordering. The cook staff must be on their game too! Number 1 Well the service was good the only thing i didn't like was the floor is always slippery and then the place smelt like gas and burnt burgers we didn't wait that long for the food to come i would say it was pretty good. Number 2 well my mom got a double burger and the first patty was raw at least she saw it and didn't finish it the fries were pretty good. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. My order is wrong at least 95% of the time, and the employees are extremely rude. Also, myself and several people I know have gotten food poisoning recently. This location just keeps going way down hill. I'm honestly surprised they haven't been shut down. This McDonalds is the worst McDonald's I've been too, they have horrible customer service and consistently mess up my orders.

Horrible breakfast apathetic service. My breakfast bagel came so burnt that when I bit into it it actually cut my gums and made them bleed. When I took it back they remade it. My remade fresh sandwich was completely cold as if it had just come out of the refrigerator. The bagel was raw not toasted or heated up at all. The cheese was stiff and plasticky and not melted. Both egg and bacon were cold as well. At this point I was already 15 minutes late to work so I just took it back up to them and said what's going on this isn't even cooked there's no condiments on it everything is cold. They said will remake it. I said I don't have time to wait. They shrug their shoulders and went back to work. I left it on the counter and walked out. I will never be back. By the way I had been a loyal customer and a defender of this location. Unfortunately this is about the 6th or 7th time this has happened and I am out of patience. Missing food, cold stale French fries all the burgers were cold as well. I live 5 minutes away so the distance wasn't the issue. I can pick up food in Lacey, 20 minutes away and it is still hot when I get it home. How is it that the McDonald's 5 minutes away can't provide hot food? I used the app, since they've closed one of the drive thru lanes, which although convenient, you have no way to contact anyone if their are mistakes or missing items. read more

Beware. This location will get your food wrong 9 times out of 10. I paid for bacon, but didn't receive it. I usually get messy sloppy burgers, cold fries or missing sauces. So check your food. Do not leave the drive thru window until you check. If that gives you anxiety then pull into the parking lot and check, then walk back into the store. I know it's fast food, but there is some sort of company standards, isn't there? I hope things will improve, Lacey is a heck of a drive but I'll do it if I'm craving a Mickey-D's burger just because the Yelm location is so disappointing. read more

I have gone to this McDonald's about four times now. You should expect an approximate five minute wait per vehicle in the drive-through on any given day. I am currently sitting in the drive through on a Saturday afternoon at 6:52. I pulled up to the speaker at 5:41 and still have three vehicles in front of me. I asked the cashier what the problem was, and was told that it was a lack of staff during rush hour, but there were too many people earlier in the afternoon, which means that manager is having trouble setting the schedule. Worst service ever. Waited for order for 15 minutes. Had totally forgot to make our order. When they did it wasn't correct. Then when we got our fries they were cold. May be locally owned, but they don't care about their local customers. Left a tip below stating they will shut down on the lights on you in the drive through without care. YOU left the lights on, I assumed you're open. Not everyone has the luxury of unlimited data on their phones to check your hours. Not to mention your hours are posted on a small sticker on the window of your drive through where you pick up the food (2nd window) thats hard to read in the dark or if you're not right next to the window. In the words of my wife, "this food is not fit for human consumption." Seriously, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonalds. The fries tasted like they had been reheated in a microwave. My wife had a Big Mac and it looked like it had been soaked in a bowl of thousand island.
