The online menus are very misleading. This place was very well advertised, but really pulled up short in its expectations! We could barely find the front door as it was well camouflaged. It's very confusing as they are a movie theater, game arcade, shopping stalls and somewhere there was a restaurant in there. We entered at 3:00.... Not a lot of people there. The hostess finally seated us (she seemed like it was a burden) with menus. The waitress showed up and took our drink order. Came back with our drinks and asked if we were ready to order (less than a minute). We did ask for another minute. That's the last time we saw her. She got a large group behind us. She took their drink order and then started taking their food order We had been there over 15 mins and only had water and menus Needless to say we got up and left Terrible service. Don't go I won't

Amazing food, i highly recommend the Big Cheddah. Server Staff was amazing, not too pushy and very helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing.

reviews on this were mixed, but was close to our hotel so decided to give it a try. friend & i decided to try the fried green 'maters app. they were cut thin - which i prefer - with tasty, not too heavy breading. they were cooked through and yummy. for entrees i ordered the summer porch fried chicken and asked for green beans & creamed corn instead of sides listed. i got white meat, and it was a bit dry, but white is frequently a bit drier. the breading was light, crisp and tasty. green beans were very good, nicely seasoned. creamed corn was good also, tasted like just corn, butter and cream. not too heavy or too sweet. friend had open faced roast beef sammie, with mashed potatoes & green beans. she liked the sandwich, meat was tender, gravy was good - not heavy - didnt taste canned or like it started life as a powder. mashed potatoes had "lumps" which we both prefer - so they werent instant. cornbread was very good as well. although restaurant is in a "mall", it had a nice interior, casual. there was also a bar. service was very good. no complaints.

Pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread!! Fabulous!!

This is one of the BEST places in Branson, MO!! If you go you have to try the pot roast, the (sweet) cornbread, AND ask for a "special table." Magnificent!!

So the restaurant we planned to eat at turned out to be closed so we wound up at McFarlain's. They weren't very busy so we got right in and seated right away. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The place was pretty clean and the decor was kind of Midwest meets Deep South.... On to the food. It was all pretty good. I had the McFarlain's Special Sandwich, which was an open faced pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Others had soup and salad and meatloaf. We took a Traffic Jam pie to go, which turned out to be delicious. The four star rating may be just a bit of a stretch, really the rating is probably around 3.5 stars, but they deserved rounding up not down based on the overall experience.

    Blackberry cobbler a la made

Food was good. Service was great. Portion size on pot roast was large. Cornbread with honey butter was yummy. Blackberry cobbler a la mode was yummy.

Chicken pot pie was as big as my hand

Breakfast on New Year's Eve. Service was fair and omelet's were a tad overlooked. Perhaps our expectations were a little high.

Me and my buddy decided to visit Branson for a movie and we decided to stop in at a random place to…read moreeat. We decided on Crazy Craig's treehouse, one that looked like cozy simple affordable food. Upon walking into the establishment, we discovered that the parking lot is a tight entry with the infamous Branson hills. The exterior was appealing and cool to look at yet the interior was cramped and barely any room to sit. They did have a nice area to sit upstairs though the pool table upstairs didn't contain the ball rack and the table was incredibly dirty/unmaintained. Moving onto the service. We were told to sit anywhere and someone would come and check on us, it was several minutes before someone came to check what we wanted with little to no business going on. However they were nice so that was a nice plus. The pricing for this place is a little overpriced for the simple food menu they have. We paid 10 dollars for chips and queso and the serving size that was on the platter was barely enough to feed us both. Our main entrees were easily 15 dollars a plate and not to mention that it took quite a lot of time for everything to come out. The overall taste of the food/drinks were very disappointing. My Dr Pepper was extremely flat no matter a refill or not, the chips were stale, and the queso tasted like fake cheese (only cheese I can compare it to is lunchables). My chicken sandwich I ordered was incredibly subpar: especially since when I pay 15 dollars for a sandwich I want a patty and not two chicken tenders plastered on a bun. Especially the pepper jack cheese on my tender sandwich had absolutely no spice which made me believe it was fake cheese as well. Even the pepper from the shaker only had a hint of the taste of pepper. The worst experience in this first and last visit was the fact that the pepper sauce (hot sauce) was all expired. Our tables sauce had expired on July 2025! I checked other tables and only one of the tables had a September 2027 date the rest had May 2025. So I didn't use any condiments on my food which overall ruined my meal. The only truly good food product I had was the French fries so if you go here just order the fries from the appetizer section and seeing how they are a bar as well: drink while you're here because you will need it to get through main entrees. Overall: friendly slow service, bad food, bad soda, and tight space and parking lot. Not worth your time!

The staff are students working to pay for their college tuition so the service was great! The food was good (most ingredients on site also made by students) portions were huge, the price was decent, place was clean and much better then any touristy type restaurant near or on the strip, so much so we came here for dinner 2 nights in a row. The students are so interactive if you ask them questions and they also have the place they are from on their name tags which can be conversation starters. It does take them a little time to get through service so make sure you have a little time to wait. They serve 2 types of bread with bread service and 3 different butters alongside those. The apple butter was delicious. The first night I had the meatloaf which was very good. The second night I had their special for the night which was a stuffed chicken with spinach and cheese, vinegar potatoes and some mixed veggie side that was delicious. There is also a store area where you can buy student made items to take home with you. I wish we had a program like this near us because we would support it frequently. Definitely make reservations and give this place a try.

We settled on a fried pork tenderloin and a single burger. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and piping hot upon arrival. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The drinks are self-serve but members of the staff asked if I'd like a refill and did the running for me. They even brought me a "to-go" cup when we finished our meal. It was very comfortable and quiet during our visit but with a full dining room it has the potential to be a bit noisier. With a live band, it could be more than a bit louder. On the way out buy something and support a local vendor. The building's purpose to give local vendors a place to sell. No vendors will cause the grill's rent to skyrocket.
