Just order a Thai shrimp salad and the $19 salad ended up being $28. When I asked about the price difference I was told it depends on the protein I order, but it was a Thai Shrimp Salad. I ordered nothing extra. I told the server at the counter I thought the price was extreme. He assured me it was enough for multiple meals. I got 6 large shrimp, 6 leafy Bibb lettuce leave, one red lettuce leave torn in half, 1/4 cup quinoa and a hand full or two of red and green tomatoes. Tell me how they can justify $28. We enjoy eating here once in a while because the food is pretty good. The chicken pickles sandwich is my favorite. The QR code you have to scan to look at a menu is not ideal. Not everyone in our party has a phone handy at all times. While I like the flavor of the food and put up with the whole QR code menu issue, I don't think the staff is very friendly or professional. We ordered food for our whole party and they got one of the orders completely wrong, it was supposed to be a Mahi sandwich but it was chicken inside. When we went inside to tell them they said it was probably switched with another persons food in our party. Then they came outside and inspected all of our plates, in which they clearly saw that we all had chicken. We asked them to please make the Mahi sandwich that was ordered and they did not seem happy about it at all. Once we were done we went next door to the ice cream store and while in line I see the same guy who made our food in there complaining about us to the ice cream shop owner. He was saying that we didn't like our order and demanded he just make a new sandwich for free, when in reality he (or one of the staff members) messed up our order and gave us the wrong thing. I was shocked. I didn't say anything or call him out on it but I think McFlamingo's needs to have a serious talk with their staff about professionalism and customer service. read more

We just ate dinner at McFlamingo - everything we tried (which was a lot) was delicious! This is a place you go to eat healthy food - and not only do you enjoy it because it's healthy, but also because the flavors are out of this world! The cider and nitro coffee on tap were also great! This place is amazing! Tried quite a few menu items and each dish was better than the next. The homemade hummus with jalapeños was perfect and the mahi salad had the most incredible ginger carrot dressing. Sweet and tasteful decor, helpful and friendly staff.
