Better than sex wings were amazing. Bartender and staff were kind and a game of darts is always is in the mix.

Decent food and good drinks, extremely friendly staff. Will be back! A local fav I believe.

Good pub food, very fair prices, nice people. Outdoor seating (with heat) is a nice option.

Decided to try this place for the first time/ ordered the boom boom shrimp, Angus burger, jalapeno poppers, and chicken wrap. The shrimp was a very large portion on a bed of lettuce. And nice and spicy . The Angus burger was also good with a good amount of fries, but the bacon was just a little under done for my taste. The poppers where good and you get 6. The wrap for my taste was a little thin for a wrap. Large crowd for a Fri night. The menu is basically bar type food. My rating is a 70 out of the 100. read more

Decent neighborhood Irish bar, which is now smoke free! Yay! Pool tables, live music ($5 cover on those nights), friendly bartenders (shout out to Eric Stanley...and his beard), a few craft beers on tap, plenty of tvs for game watching, and from what I hear, decent bar food. Wings are a favorite with my friends. The place is clean and the people are friendly. Sometimes a small corner bar in a small town can be intimidating to out of towners such as myself. That's not the case here. They welcome me as if I was one of the NEPA (Northeastern PA) crew. We tasted a Susquehanna Brewing Shady Spot on draft, which is a fruit shandy and has a obvious lemon note. Very refreshing for summertime! We also had a Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat Ale I haven't actually had since a summer spent partially in Maine. That was a welcomed throwback! We jammed to a Dave Matthews cover band called Proudest Monkey. They were INCREDIBLE and the sound was great. Great time had by all. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon looking for a new lunch spot. It stinks of cigarette smoke as you enter. All I saw was a dark room with a line of men hunched over drinks. There were some high tables. I didn't see any real restaurant seating. It could be elsewhere in the building, but the place is not inviting when you walk in. That was also my first visit to Dalton, and the area around the restaurant seems deserted. I guess this place is good for regulars. I only stayed about thirty seconds. read more

We went to McGrath's on a recommendation. We went this morning for wings. When we got there, we were the only people in the restaurant aside from the bartender. We put in our order shortly after arriving - we got there at 12:20. After a few minutes, the bartender informed us that they were cleaning out the fryer and that it would be 15-20 minutes, which is fine. Our food finally came out after an hour, which was disappointing because we were so hungry (and the only people there). We got the sample platter (mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini, three wings, onion rings, and battered mushrooms), 10 medium buffalo wings, and 10 "BTS" wings, along with an order of fries. The sample platter was OK - the mozzarella sticks were just OK. We got the wings with the Gold Fever sauce which had mustard in it and was tasty. The wings were a bit disappointing. The buffalo sauce was fairly generic and the BTS sauce wasn't as flavorful as I imagined (it has garlic and bleu cheese but didn't really taste like it). The fries were actually the star of the show! Big order and crunchy! The waitress was very attentive and nice, which earns this place a couple of stars. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I didn't love it, especially as compared to some of the other wings places in the area. read more

Been going here since the 90s. Use to love the wings. There were 6 of us Long time patrons stopped for wings and were very disappointed. They completely changed their style of wing sauce why would anyone do that. Their sauce used to be awesome now it just like regular spaghetti sauce with some hot sauce mixed in. Very sloppy in the spaghetti sauce texture sucks. read more

I haven't had a single thing that wasn't good from here. Staff is exceptionally friendly and makes everyone feel like a local that's been coming for years. The BTS wings and bites are great. The wings here are huge and done to perfection. Meaty, crispy, juicy, and sauced perfectly. The way wings should be. No need to go anywhere else. Don't make a big ass trip up to Buffalo, New York to the Anchor (home if the original buffalo wing) for the original wings, save your money, Monday nights are wing nights! Get some beer at the bar and get busy! If I'm wrong- I'm lying The bar is barely lit so bring whomever you'd like. read more

*** I'm editing this review after my second visit. Again the burgers are outstanding but it's hard to enjoy them when everyone in the bar smokes. Seriously, it's 2016 who allows people to smoke in an eating establishment?! 1st time. Had the Joe Bob burger. Outstanding! Absolutely cooked to perfection, flavorful, delicious. Which made the stale chips tossed on the plates disappointing. Great burger with a lazy move. ...oh and it's almost 2016 and you can smoke in McGraths! So while you enjoy that delicious burger with stale chips you have the privilege of sucking in second hand smoke! Also, if you are in a wheelchair be prepared for high tables and kindergarten lap tray service. On second thought it might be best to order the burger to go, hold the stale chips. read more

Great bone-in wings, music, drinks, and friendly staff! The perfect distance from Keystone College and Clark's Summit.

Visited here for quick lunch so this review is not for night life. The wings are great. Excellent sauce with just the right kick. They ran out of chop meat so no burgers were available. Tried the Texas cheesesteak w/ everything on it. Flavors were good but the wings are def the way to go in this place. As for the chicken pizza. We were very disappointed as it seemed more like Ellio's w/ a thicker crust. I'm not trying to knock this place as regulars may be offended but as a true New Yorker stay away from the pizza for sure and once again stick w/ the wings and you'll hv a great experience. read more

Great food!!! Arguably some of the best wings in the area! The atmosphere is nice with a classic bar feel. CON: it's a SMOKING bar, if you don't like smelling like an ashtray when you leave you might want to go elsewhere. While it was rather inconvenient for me I suppose it's a good thing that they follow the liquor control laws pretty tightly... Ron jon and Ashley are just the most amazing at welcoming people into the pub. They rushed over to my needs. I came here for the bang bang sauce and was not dissatisfied. They treated like me like miss Elizabeth from The WWF. I met joe mcgrath in the food of Nepa group . He stated the sauce the best. It really is. And all the workers love what they are doing. My friends Chris & Chrissy brought us here for beers and wings the other night. The wings kicked our butt, the burgers were beautiful, and the beer cold and delicious. The bartender was honest when he told us that the guinness was running foamy so I didn't order it, and I would have. So I appreciate his candor. I have been coming to mcgraths for many years. The service was the #1 reason. They have a waitress named Colleen. She was the best I've ever seen. She wouldn't let a glass get empty and always knew what you wanted before you ordered. I just found out they fired her. I don't know why but I will not be back. They lost a customer for life. We went in on a Saturday night, we were "greeted" by a bartender that gave us an attitude from the get go. We brushed it off, went to get another round after playing pool and asked for less ice, because the previous drinks that were filled to the brim with ice were watered down. The same bartender that was waiting on us, with attitude from the beginning, managed to be even worse. Because we asked for less ice he gave us NO liquor. So we took it back, and he got very offended that we were trying to get our drinks corrected, so offended that he gave us a "strike." When we tried to get our card off the tab so we could just leave another bartender came over and she was even worse. They were yelling and screaming at us, treating us like we were being drunk and obnoxious, from the one alcoholic drink they gave us. They then tried to get the bouncer to kick us out, before even giving us our card back. The bouncer was surprisingly nice, as he tried to talk to us and get the bartenders to give us our card back. The entire thing was just bizarre, I have never been treated like that, especially by someone who is supposed to be friendly and hospitable for their job. Excellent chicken wings with a good sauce selection. However, their drink selection is absurdly expensive for a small bar so we do not frequent this place as often as we would like. Unfortunately, we have also had issues with some not-so-courteous bar staff. read more
