I've been going to McKenna Automotive for several year's now. I was looking for a Mechanic locally to my residence, so I did a Google search and found that their reviews were stellar. So, I decided to check them out for myself; though I was a bit apprehensive since I didn't know anything about cars & if I would receive quality service & not be taken advantage of since I was a Woman. At that time, I owned a Jeep Liberty and when I arrived at their location, I was promptly greeted with the utmost professionalism & excellent customer service. Fast-forward to the present, I now own another vehicle which had a slight problem, so I called and asked if I could bring my car in to have them look at it & hopefully remedy the problem I was having. Without hesitation, I was told to bring my vehicle in. As I drove up, the owner knew exactly the problem I was having with my car... it was the Muffler, as I had initially suspected. Within a matter of less then 5/mins., my car was up in the air & thoroughly inspected, the part ordered & delivered, test drove by one of their Mechanics & out the door within 1 hr. and 10/mins. Also, the price to replace my old Muffler was the topping on the cake. It didn't break the bank & I breathed a sigh of relief!!! I came here on the advice of a friend and spoke with Wojczek. As he looked and road tested the car, I looked around and I saw all types of vehicles getting worked on at the time from soccer mom minivans to early 70s muscle cars. That says much to me about his other clientele. An estimate was drawn up, it was accurate and fair to both of us and, as it was late, I brought the car back the next morning and the work was completed. The final bill came in under the initial estimate due to the labor time wasn't as long as he thought. That is the hallmark of an honest operation. I've been going to McKenna for years. They are honest and upfront about what my car needs. It they're not sure what the problem is, they don't try to guess. There was one occasion when I thought I had a serious problem. It turned out to be an inexpensive part, and I received an honest invoice. My only issue is that the cost of parts sometimes seems high, but they buy from distributors that sell higher quality parts that are recommended or required by manufacturers. McKenna has my car ready when promised 99.9% of the time. If they run into an unexpected problem (which is rare), they call me immediately with an update. They might be a little more expensive than some shops, but it's worth the peace of mind knowing that the job is done right. read more

I'm not a fan of the fact that they're not open on weekends. In any case, I went in a few weeks ago to have them change out my ignition coils. I brought my own coils which I purchased from Amazon.com. My car is a 2001 Expedition, so the engine is buried beneath the intake system and some other crap. However, it only took them less than three hours to get the job done and only charged me about $230. As far as I'm aware, they installed them properly. read more

On two occasions, two years in a row, these guys stepped up and helped get my plow up and running when it broke and left me stranded due to Western snowplows substandard engineering of my ultra mount plow.
