One of the most enjoyable places I have eaten at in this neighborhood. It's a small spot that has good tacos and reasonably priced drinks. Their happy hour is one of my favorites in the area. The service is pretty good as well. The only complaint that I have is that it's cash only, but there is an ATM on the premises. read more

Seriously amazing tacos! I visited from Los Angeles and one of our friends referred us here and we were hooked! literally went 4x in the span of 5 days! So good. I ventured out my my beloved tacos and got a chicken burrito that was delicious and the perfect size! I also loved the complimentary chips and my favorite drinks were the Coconut Mojito and red sangria! Amazing! The ambiance was great too. This neighborhood will be much different very soon. Less than a month ago a wonderful staple of a diner was here with classic Latin American dishes for all meals, and the change could have gone many ways, and much worse. With an effort for relevancy some decisions regarding ambiance might be off-putting or inviting, but always nitpicking on how to cater to this market just so you can still exist will get you nowhere considering the great many pretentious folks flooding Williamsburg. Condos are going up everywhere, and with that come asshats galore. This place has to cater to both locals and asshats. What this place really can do is offer excellent tacos and various relatively standard menu items, executed superbly with attention to spice, flavor and freshness. And when all the condos have ethnically cleansed this neighborhood, this place recently changing hands will hopefully last long enough that the older asshats will miss the neighborhood they've destroyed, what it could have offered, and communicate that to their children who can never live up to what came before them, psychologically branding them as losers and the children of asshats. If this taco doesn't move you to keying nearby luxury vehicles, it's okay, simply existing and enjoying it can exact the market correction you desire. The nachos will taste better as the Dow jones is down 4% today. read more

This place is super lit. Definitely a locals spot. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Camilo, is very hands-on. On any given night it's a Mexican party with lots of drinking and dancing. This place was so authentic and the service was so amazing. The tacos were out of this world and I was a bit extra hungry and ordered a burrito and my friend who had the mole enchiladas were soooooooo good. I almost ate out his entire order which I truly enjoyed. The manager was so nice he came by the table to see how we were doing and gave us some complimentary drinks which were very amazing. Disclaimer: Consider this an homage to their queso fundido. Our go-to hood spot for delicious drinks, great low-key ambiance, and QUESO FUNDIDO. Until I met my boyfriend, I had never even heard of this dish. He is absolutely obsessed with it and will order it at any restaurant that has it. Prior to this little neighborhood gem opening up, we used to get it at La Superior, and frankly I didn't like it too much because it was just wayyy too cheesy. On the contrary, at Los Tacos, it is basically the only thing I will get. I have tried other things but damnnn, queso fundido on fleek right here! No other queso fundido compares. I still remember when Los Tacos first opened up less than a year ago, and trying theirs for the first time. I was instantly hooked! If you've never had it before, definitely try it here. It's a delicious, warm, gooey bowl of melted cheese, black beans, cherry tomatoes and avocado slices with a side of warm tortillas waiting to get in that belly. You can also add chorizo as an option. The last time I ordered it, the cheese wasn't really melted, but I forgive them because all of the other times it's been on point. I'm actually a little hesitant to write this review because I don't want to go there one day and for them to be sold out of it. But you know what? The yelp community deserves to know about this tasty dish and so do your tastebuds (you can thank me later). Another great thing I love about this place is their happy hour and drinks in general. They have great taco + beer specials, taco + margarita specials, 3 types of sangria, and my fave - rum maracuja (passion fruit). Really great deals, a chill vibe, and good service. They also have elote, which I love, and various dinner specials. I tried one of their beef dinner specials, which was delicious. Their tacos are decent but their burritos are better. I ordered a Cochinita pibil torta and guacamole yesterday, I can't believe how bad was this, it's the worst Cochinita pibil I've ever had, I'm Mexican, but I don't think they know what Cochinita is. Guacamole is 3.50 for probably 2 spoon full and it has like the worst tomato chunks in there...
