I was in the market for evo's and found one here at MDK. Joe gave me no pressure whatsoever. Very laid back and he will answer all your questions. The dealership is fantastic. Its all indoor so it is kind of hard to find but you will notice the sign on the building. All the cars I saw there is in excellent condition. I traded my car recently with them for the evo. I haven't felt the need to return back here and read reviews, but I saw today that I received a reply from Michael K, and wanted to thank him for taking the time to address my comment. Although, it felt like more of a lesson on cars than anything, you did take the time. Joe also did give me call, and like George L. stated in his review, I was also asked to alter my review and add additional stars. Also, during this call I was informed I could go to the mechanics they use and it have saved me money on repairs; a point Michael also pointed out. And no, I did not contact them after these problems arose. Your mechanics also didn't tell you of the issues or symptoms of problems to come, or did not disclose them to you or I. So it raises a hint of doubt that might make a person look for another option. Whether the mechanic I took it to overcharged or not is not the issue. That is an issue I'll review with them. I rated my car buying experience and I did not blame them for the issues I faced. I know what cars I purchased, and am very well aware of the costs that come with that, and as George L. also said, inspect your vehicles for your own results. I'm leaving my rating at 3 stars, because it is still my honest review. There are definitely worse dealers, for sure. Absolutely embarrassing service. Moody employees that make them think they know so much about the cars. They hide the legit problems and act like nothing is wrong with the cars. They think the customer doesn't know anything about the cars they look for. I'm a very knowledgeable person in the field. I was a fan of this place from what I seen as I walked in. This isn't anyone's first time buying. It's trash service. I know so many better dealers than these moody people. Not welcoming at all. I had the 3x the CASH amount of a car in my POCKET they acted like I had nothing. Embarrassing. I felt very uncomfortable and I felt very separated. Never judge a customer by its cover. I was interested in purchasing a 2011 328I BMW wagon for $16,990. I was told that the price was non negotiable. I wanted to have the car inspected. I had set up a time at a nearby inspection center. MDK was more than a hour late for the inspection. It caused other cars to move before me. It took more than two and a half hours to get the inspection completed. The inspector found a major oil leak, a dead battery, one car tire didn't match the others. It was recommended not to purchase the car. I really wanted the car. I already owned a 2004 BMW 325I wagon. I contacted MDK in regards to the inspection results. There was no response. I was very disappointed. I see that the car is still listed for sale. They have the BMW now listed for $14,990. Obviously they were playing hard ball, saying they wouldn't consider lowering their price. I recommend to have their cars inspected. Also never ever pay full price. Make a counter offer. If it is reasonable, they should at least make an counter offer. If MDK stands firm, walk away. There are too many cars out there to choose from. The choice is yours. read more

This is NOT a regular dealership. This is the first time i have seen this kinda dealership and I really LIKED IT. 1. All cars are inside of the WAREHOUSE (not a regular outside lot) which they call showroom. That means car you gonna purchase was kept in good conditions. 2. They are NOT NEGOTIATE the prices. I felt weird at the beginning, but then i realized that this policy does not foolish people. They know the prices in the market and price their cars fairly. Other dealerships place unrealistic numbers and make money on your inability to negotiate. 3. As they said, they have CHEAPEST prices in country for clean used cars, and if u ask them they can prove it by showing u similar car prices online. 4. I take a look at 3 different cars and test drove and bought a very CLEAN Audi A5. Two other cars were very clean and nice condition too. As they said they sell only cars under 75000 miles because they don't want unsatisfied customers. 5. You have too make an APPOINTMENT. Otherwise they would not let u test drive it. 6. Mike (I think he is the owner) explained me all the pros and cons about the that audi model in comparison with bmw. So if you r having problems choosing between different models u should definitely talk with him. 7. They have CARFAX report for all the cars, which i think all good dealerships have. And they don't sell cars with accident history AT ALL, which makes me respect them. 8. All that and my lovey A5 makes me think that i got the great deal. Pros: Fantastic car as they pictured. It was impeccably clean and in the best shape I had seen yet. They had what they offered, a great car. Cons:Customer service. I had better customer service at a Denny's . Actually, I can't really call it customer "service" as there was no service at all. So, I went in to see the car and, after finally finding someone to assist me, found that the person I had made an appointment with wasn't even there. First bad move. Then, after finally seeing the car and wanting to test drive it, I was told before starting not to go fast at all. I understand, since this was a supercharged V8 and they didn't know me from Adam. I return to talk about buying the car and again must wait until they decided to get to me, though there were no other customers. I had questions, they had no answers. Second mistake. And when they say no negotiating price, they mean it. I mean, not even 500 bucks on a $42000 car, with money in hand mind you. Needless to say, had the car not been in such fantastic condition, I would've walked. But I did buy it, despite the horrid customer service which put a damper on the experience. I got a 2001 Honda civic here for like $5000. Yes, like other people have mentioned it is a used car dealership, so be prepared for the car to have some issues. These guys have a strict price and they will not bargain with anyone NO MATTER WHAT! I've tried...and a couple other buyers have tried and left a little angry while I was waiting. So all in all it's been a whole year and i'm pretty pleased with my purchase =] MY ADVICE! if you're going to buy from these guys....ask about the policies they use. If i remember correctly...If you buy a car from them you have 2 days for a full refund (or something like that). So use that time to take in to firestone or a mechanic and do a full systems check to see what sort of issues you got. You can't get the pearl without scraping the yucky clam part. I usually do not post on Yelp, but I have to make an exception. I have nothing, but good things to say about MDK, Darya, and Dimitri (hope I used correct spelling). They were great, easy to work with, and made the experience bearable. Before I went I was a little apprehensive because I have always had bad experiences with second-market dealers, both with not correctly advertising the cars and pushy/shady/aggressive associates. I decided to give MDK a shot because I see they had a lot fo great reviews, the car I wanted, and for a great price. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER ABOUT COMING IN. Yes, their business model is different than you see with other dealerships, but I find it works out perfect. There was no hassles, no trying to "slide one past me", no gimmicks, and they had the cars I was interested in ready for when I came in. The cars I looked at were exactly as they advertised them on the website and were in great condition. I could not ask for more. I am/would highly recommend MDK to friends and family to get their next car. The only thing that was a snag (as little as it was) was that one of the cars I listed that I wanted to view was sold the day before I came in. Darya was more than apologetic and asked if there is another car I was interested in that they could get out and ready while I viewed the first two. Luckily for me, the main car I came in to look at was not the one that was sold and I was still able to purchase it. The only recommendation I would suggest is getting a call or email before I came in that the one car was sold. If it was the main car I was coming in to see then I would be a little irritated, but then again this is a car dealership and I cannot expect vehicles to be held on my behalf without them knowing I am a serious buyer, or have had come in prior. Frankly, I am a little confused and lost with some of the lower reviews that others have given. (1) Some say customer service is bad, but from my trips there they were great. They were not pushy or trying to force me into a car. They wanted me to take my time, check out the car, make sure it is to my liking and were more than happy to take the car to a third-party inspector of my liking to check out the car. Personally, I like it when the sales person is not breathing down my back, but I can see how some people would want more interaction. (2) Not being able to walk in and just view the cars? Well just by a quick glance on the website you can see MDK says everything is by appointment. I had no problem calling up, speaking to Darya for a few minutes to set up the appointment and telling her the cars I was interested in. Additionally, even though they say they are strict with following their business model, from what I can see they are more than willing to be accommodating when they have the opportunity to do so. Once you go view their shop, and their cars you can easily see why they keep it as by appointment. It helps keep the overhead down, and they want to make sure the cars are sitting there ready for you. (3) Not negotiating their price? Two minutes on the website you can see where they say there is no negotiation. Besides, if you do your research you can see they are in fact pricing their cars aggressively. Even without them negotiating with you on the final price I can be fairly certain their price will still beat what you can find from most private sellers or other dealerships. From my perspective the people who have been upset with MDK either do not fully appreciate their unique model or have done their research properly before coming in. read more

I took that car for the inspection to Mercedes dealership and they were impressed how clean was my 6 years old car. They also took in my wifes car in trade and gave us MORE money than any other dealer had. As far as these other reviews complaining about car problems it seems they are not familiar with buying used cars, or even California state law. I recently purchased a 2004 Subaru WRX STI from MDK and I could not be happier! Darya was a pleasure to work, and the entire process hassle free! She made the financing, delivering the car for pre-inspection, and paperwork as easy and stress-free as possible. MDK even helped me sell my trade-in for much more than they could give me. They're not experts in every particular car, but they do go out of their way to make sure the cars they sell are top of the line. Since the car was HEAVILY modded, I took it to one of the most reputable STI tuners in SoCal (Yimi Sport Tuning), and to my surprise, MDK had already brought the car to them 2 months before and had it completely tuned. The tuners at Yimi showed me the invoices for the work that had been done to my car, and MDK did not cut any corners. It's refreshing to know the people you bought your car from didn't just do a little bit of cosmetic work, but really made sure the car they sold you was quality. 1) Do your homework and you'll see their cars are priced to sell 2) Make sure you get a pre-inspection before purchasing. I have to say I was very, very happy with my dealing with MDK International. The staff was great and the car I got is great. I do have to say I did find them listed on Autotrader site as I don't think I ever told them how I found them. Dealing with MDK is by appt only and I stress to anyone dealing with them to know what car you want, this is not some auto dealership where you walk around and wait for some money hungry car salesperson to be all over you. The cars are in a warehouse and it's like going into Jay Leno's garage. I was so stunned by all the high end cars in this warehouse I had felt like I went to car haven. My dealing were mostly with Darya, from my first phone call to my first meeting. She was very nice and very upfront and answered all my questions. They do allow you to test drive the cars but it's not a very long test drive but with high end cars I can see why. They strongly advise and almost insist that you have the car you are looking at inspected by a mechanic which I've never had any dealer to. I gave them the name and address of my mechanic and the next day they took the car I was looking at to my mechanic who found 2 small problems and MDK went and fixed them. As I said do your research on the car your looking at, as I did. My 2nd trip there I had the pleasure of meeting Michael who was more then willing to answer all my questions to the point I felt I was being that annoying person that wont go away but he was more then professional and let me ask all the questions I wanted to. On the day of my purchase everything went smooth and I purchase the car out right. I know I said it at the start but I have to say I am very, very happy with my dealing with MDK and my new car. I was very disappointed with the response I was given when the pre-purchase inspector found oil dripping on the drivetrain of the vehicle I was interested in. As their website encourages you to do TWO inspections and one preferably by a New Car Store, I decided to have a local Chevrolet dealer to see where the oil leak was coming from. The first inspector noticed that the oil had been over-filled when he checked it. So, I called them to have them take it to the local dealer and the person said they would call me back. The next day I called again and was told that the owner would call me back--no call. Current update: I finally received a call back saying they were still trying to inspect the vehicle to locate the source of the dripping oil. read more

I hate car shopping. Hate it! Between the overbearing sales people and the stress of making sure you don't end up with a lemon, it can be a miserable experience. But, turns out it doesn't have to be! MDK International is great! SO GREAT! I'll be completely honest- I was hesitant at first. I looked them up online and was a bit unsure about the lack of a car lot and appointment only viewing... but only because it was new to me. And while most of their reviews on here are awesome, it only takes those one or two less than perfect reviews to make you second guess things. (Yes, I tend to over-think EVERYTHING, it's a curse). I aaaaaalmost didn't go look at the car. But I'm SO glad I did. It was an '07 Toyota Matrix I had my sights on. I've wanted one since they came out in '03, and after a series of hand me down cars that were always almost as old as I was, I decided enough was enough, and I was going to get the car I've always wanted. The millage was great, and the price for the car (which was in beautiful condition, btw) was below blue book value. When I got there, I was instantly impressed by their show room. It was clean and the cars looked well cared for. There was no being swarmed by multiple sales people like on normal car lots. It was just Joe. And he was wonderful. Attentive and there to answer all of my questions honestly, but not pushy. NEVER pushy. And that is SOOOOOO important to me. He let me set up an appointment with my personal mechanic the next day to get the car checked out, which I can't recommend enough. Aside from a couple teeny tiny things to be expected from a used car, the Matrix got a clean bill of health! When it came to financing, Joe helped me find a great deal. I've had the car almost a month now. I'm madly in love with it. My husband has already said when he has to get his next car, he would like to check with MDK International first. I bought a 2004 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible from MDK in August and I couldn't be happier. I went to at least 10 different used car lots/dealers and 5 owners to see other VW Beetle's before making a decision. There was no doubt in my mind as soon as I went to MDK that I was going to buy my car from them. No one else could beat the price or the condition of the car. All the other dealers were selling overpriced cars with much interior and exterior cosmetic damage. This is not your average car dealer. I was looking for a replacement car for my "totalled" 1997 BMW 745i and I found a 2004 BMW 745i at MDK International. They offered a "free" CarFax and they also gave me the opportunity to get a third-party opinion. Of course, being a "shade tree mechanic" I saw that the car was in excellent condition with slightly over 74k. The service was great and I was in and out with documents signed and keys in my hand in roughly 45 minutes. As they advertised, there is no haggling?
