Was gonna buy a car from here but turned around and started running FAST. My credit isn't good so I was looking for car dealers who do in-house financing or work with bad credit. Guy name Luis told me to bring $2500-$3000 down and credit wouldn't be a problem. I click the report for the truck days after inquiring and the suv failed it's emission inspection on 7/27/23 . And before checking that I realized the truck has a minor , but very visible dent on the passenger rear door. Just brought my Fiat 500 in and found out all the repairs I'd need would be around $2400. Luckily it still runs fine, however the AC hasn't worked since I bought it in February and now it has trouble starting. I'm assuming this was due in part to the two accidents it was in. However they should have lowered the price. I also was given a broken back windshield wiper and the two in the front were used and do not work. I would recommend avoiding this spot. Don't even try to visit this place. Service is terrible, cars are in pretty rough conditions and for a very high price compared to similar ones. Walk a block and go to the Chevy dealer, you'll find way better deals, service and facilities. We arrived and we weren't even greeted, they all saw us come in and ignored us even after trying to ask questions about the available cars. The offices are in really bad conditions and smell terrible, imagine having to do all the paperwork while sitting there for hours... Don't bother... I had a great costumer service experience. They responded to my email in a timely matter the Covid being a HOT spot to schedule me for a test drive. They gave me a great price with easy credit approval (I had bad credit). I had the car for over 90 days and discovered a minor problem with the car that was overlooked, I called them and they immediately reimbursed me the funds for repair (less than $200 repair). Even the mechanic shop was surprised when they reimbursed me because used dealerships never do that (It is as-is when you pull off the lot). Autoworkz stand behind their product and has great customer service and a great place to do business at. I'd buy another car here in the future. I highly recommend this dealership. Literally the worse dealership you can ever think of . They gave me a junk car ( Nissan 350z ) . The first day I bought it I was honestly pretty excited to finally get a car that I wanted with the low credit of mine . So I was driving to work with the car for the first day of it officially being mine . The car starts turning off and starts making a weird noise in the engine . I took it back , asked for my money back because it was less then 24 hours I had got the car . They denied the refund and offered to fix it . I let them fix it , they said it would be ready in a week . And it took them almost 3 weeks since I got the car . They expect me to be okay with that . Who ever comes here is a idiot . They are extremely rude and impatient and wouldn't hesitate to block ur number if you annoy them . read more

Wish I could put negatives on this fraudulent dealership. I purchased a car from them in 2011 and have had to fix my car at least every 2-3 months since. I've gone through over 3 transmissions. Do not purchase from these people they will sell you a LEMON and lie to you. I asked about some special features that the car had, thinking back I don't even think the salesman knew what I was talking about and he just said yes. The car fax history report given to me by them stated "no collisions / damage reported and only 2 previous owners." Magically in 2012 the car fax history report that I pulled says "structural damage in 2005 and a total of 4 previous owners (including me)." This will not be the last that they will hear of me. And it does look like these people are posting their own reviews. How can you go from a majority of reviews being either 5 stars or 1 star? If anyone has had similar issues feel free to contact me because these kinds of business practices are unethical and must be stopped. read more

Moti said let me know whats wrong with the car ill have my mechanic take care of it. Fast forward 8 months later i have issues with the car. My mechanic tells me the motor mounts were never replaced when moti gave me invoice saying they were in march. So i confront him about it and says sorry your warranty was only for 30 days. This place sells shady mediocre cars and they know it. Thats wny they give you only 30 day knowing the duct tape holding everything together will last 30 days then fall apart. Certainly not the best experience I've ever had. Came in to test drive a car I had seen online via Cars.com. Noticed that the car was immediately due for replacement tires. Sat in it for a little bit, let it idle, and noticed that the needle wasn't holding a steady RPM. Oh well, might as well test drive it, see what the car's like anyway and how it handles, yadda yadda. I didn't even get a full 3 blocks away from the dealership before the car died on me during the test drive. Fired the engine back up again, made another block, and it died a second time. At that point, I said to the guy, "You take the wheel." The salesman told me that it could be due to the car needing a replacement battery. I'm not a mechanic, but I had a hard time buying it. I've never had battery issues that manifested themselves quite like that. So, best case scenario: these guys are retailing cars that have defects that are apparent within 3 minutes of drive time. A thought to management: maybe hop in the car and drive it around before you wash it and put it on the lot for sale at a cost of more than 14 grand? What might that cost? 2.50 worth of gasoline, tops? Worst case scenario: these guys are trying to put one over on you by offloading extremely poor and neglected merchandise in extreme states of disrepair. I can't read minds, and in fairness I don't know whether they put that car on the lot knowing it had battery / engine / electrical issues beforehand, or whether it was just bad retail luck that their merchandise died on a customer, but either way it left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

One star is generous. I bought a car here recently and fully regret it. After sitting in their non-air conditioned office, I asked if the AC in the car I was buying worked. I was half-joking but they still told me yes. Before I got into the car I purchased, they told me they had just repaired the headlight that was out and I thanked them. Got into the car and SURPRISE! The AC didn't work. Neither did the heater. And the car key battery was dead. And there was less than 1/4 tank of gas. As I drove home, every single dash notification came on. And oh, my headlight is out. GREAT. Additionally, now 2 weeks after my purchase, they're calling and saying they need me to sign additional forms (why was this not done when I was there?) and need other information that should have been done before I even drove the car off of the lot. BEWARE First, they sold me a junk, after fighting with them for a month (because the car needed to change the engine head and the cost to fix it came out more than half the cost of the car) they changed my car by another car, then it took three months to give me the plates and when they did, I realize that I had paid $ 150 for vehicle license fees and they only paid $ 42, they STOLE me $ 108! The attention by the owners was horrible, Steve spent four months saying he did not speak Spanish to not take care of the situation and is a lie! the last day of my claim he spoke to me in Spanish. The girl doing administrative work too rude. Josh and Luigi are good people and always helped me, but can not work honestly if the owners are crooks who are not interested to serve customers well. read more

Ok, so this is more of a neutral rating. I came in to see the 2009 Subaru Outback XT and because I had seen an ad showing they in-house finance and specialize in bad credit. I have been searching for a vehicle through a dealer who will help me since I recently discharged a bankruptcy. I called before leaving to make sure the vehicle was still there, Gelma answered and said that the sales person was currently busy but would give my information to him and have him call me back. Then she asked if there was anything she could help me with and I explained that I was just making sure the vehicle I was interested was still there. She said yes, so I told her "great, we will see you in about an hour". When we arrived, her sales person was not available, but Gelma was such a great asset to the team that day - she helped us out herself. She got us the keys and when I turned it over she realized the gas tank was on empty. She went in the office and got a card so we could put gas in to test drive the car. The car had a clean carfax and looked good in the pictures, but when we got in it - it was way dirtier than in the pictures I saw online. A few things made us question the condition of the vehicle but we saved our questions for Pedro who we were introduced to upon returning from our test drive. Pedro was a heavy hitter of a salesman. Luckily I had my husband with me to keep up with the fast talking. I applied and then while Pedro was talking to his bank, I realized I might be jumping into something out of bad credit desperation. I had to remind myself of the 2009 Outback I had been looking at online for the last few weeks while waiting for my bankruptcy to discharge. I also had a dealer in Utah willing to finance me for a certified used vehicle at 18.5% while I was still in open bankruptcy. The fact that this car had a supercharged engine was just not enough to seal the deal, it was just enough to get me there to check it out before visiting the 09 Outback in Newport. So Pedro asked what payments I was looking for I told him and he said ok can you put any more down? I told him I could put $1000 more down, but the monthly payments stayed the same. So I'm not sure how that additional down is beneficial for me. He was persistent in adding my husband to the loan to get closer to my target payment of $250/month. The closest he could get was $350/month on a 36 month contract. His interest rate was 21%, on a used as-is 2009 Subaru Outback XT priced at $12,995 (priced from craigslist ad) their site does not have a price. He asked what it would take to get us in the car today, my husband told him a list of things that should have been done before showing us the vehicle but Pedro wouldn't budge on the price nor did he sound sure of what issues would be addressed. Pedro was optimistic for our business, but I tried to explain that realistically I would need to review my options before making the deal. The next day I received a follow up call from Scott, the finance manager. I appreciated him following up to see if there was anything he could do to get us in the car. I suppose I could have got him to lower the price - or make the necessary repairs, but I really just wasn't feeling it with this company. Especially when Pedro showed me my credit report and said, "No one else is going to finance you". Thank you Pedro, you have helped me decide on the 24% interest rate at a slightly higher than target monthly payment of $285 on a well maintained 2006 vehicle with a limited warranty on engine and transmission. Thank you Gelma, you truly were helpful and had I been rating strictly on your service - Autoworkz would be receiving 5 stars in this review. read more

Easily the worst experience of buying a car I have ever had and this is my sixth vehicle purchase! The day after buying the car the check engine light went on, it took almost 3 months of getting junk loaner cars that were in terrible condition for the vehicle to finally be fixed not to mention I was promised in writing that several issues with the car would be taken care of and they were not. A month after purchasing the vehicle I received a registration renewal for the tags which should have been paid for by the dealer as part of the deal but apparently were not also it took almost 2 months for them to pay off my trade-in! If I could take it all back I would these people are serious scammers they do not understand responsibility or accountability and should not be in the car business at all! If I could give them negative stars I would this place should be shut down or at the very least taken over by someone who knows how to run a business! read more

This is a non biased review. I have bought two cars from Autoworkz and my experience has been great. Lets be honest when your buying a used car your always taking a risk. I bought a 350z and an is 250. For the 350z I did have to replace the clutch right away a week after buying it but they did take responsibility and helped with the cost and they also helped me get approved which was great after trying in so many different places.
