We go to this place whenever we are nearby. The food is amazing and the service is very friendly. It's a top notch breakfast place, with a creative menu . The eggs Benedict with salmon and avocado was delicious. We had some homemade tomato soup with a grilled cheese that satisfied the soul . Hot and delicious with homemade croutons. The waffles are gorgeous, served with plenty of fresh fruit. The coffee was excellent. I loved the cocktail menu. Something for everyone. Highly recommend this place. They have outdoor seating making it a nice sidewalk cafe. We will definitely be going back for some lunch next time we are in town. read more

Had the worst experience ever for Father's Day today at Me & You. We had 11AM reservations for 9 adults and 2 babies. When we get there our table was ready, but they did not have high-chairs available even though they were pre requested. The place was busy, it was Father's Day...so it took some time to take our order, I get that but then we waited and waited for the food to come out. Then the orders start coming out piece meal, incomplete, and cold. My son ordered French Toast and a side of eggs... his eggs came out 20 minutes after his French toast. Meanwhile, three of us still weren't served. At which point I asked to speak to the manager....waited another 10 minutes... still no food and no manager to explain was was going on. It seemed like the place was being run by a bunch of kids and a confused wait staff. After another 10 minutes my wife went up to the bar to try to speak to someone. At that point I had enough and went to Stuff-a-Bagel for breakfast. When I came back my wife was still waiting to speak to someone and was told the owner was in the back and was too busy to come out. Which, just shows a poor management style. Darn shame the food is usually excellent, but horrible service. They did comp the meal, but it wasn't about the money, a few moments of attention to customers would have gone a long way. read more

This is such a cute place - staff is all super young but they're accommodating, polite & very sweet. We came here for a late brunch, an hour before closing - the steak and eggs were pretty damn good. I annoyingly requested them to have the steak come out pre-cut & they actually fulfilled it which I really appreciated. It was still juicy & easier to eat. My bf had The Cuban & I loved how compact it was- not messy & also easy to eat. One of the best breakfasts out I've had in a while. Kept it simple with the classic breakfast of 2 over medium eggs with cheese, bacon, home fries, and rye toast. Eggs were cooked perfectly with a velvety runny yolk and firm white. The bacon was outstanding! I'm pretty sure it was uncured because it wasn't too salty, but rather a smokiness that was delicious. Not to mention it was cooked perfectly. Not burnt, not too chewy (is that even possible?) just perfect. For drinks I had a mimosa which was great. It had just enough Prosecco (not champagne) which gave it the right amount of sweetness to tart ratio. Then I got a hot chocolate, adult style with frangelico which is my own concoction that Fay willingly served up and the patron next to us jumped in on because he said it looked so damn good! She adds whipped cream, real marshmallows, and a scoop of ice cream. Topped with the frangelico, it was out of this world! Only thing I would say is she might want to offer a little less ice cream because it cooled off my hot chocolate a little faster than I could drink. But how could I criticize a place for giving too much ice cream with my hot chocolate?! Blasphemy, I say!!! My husband had the eggs Benedict, I stole a bite and don't regret it for a second. Creamy, with a slight tang, and straight up delicious. Home fries came with both and not only were we served a generous portion but they were delicious. Seasoned with your typical paprika, and pepper they had a nice flavor and weren't overcooked and falling apart. The potato still had body and I didn't even have to ask for mine well done because of it. We sat at the bar which was a great choice with Fay behind the bar. You can just tell she enjoys her work and spending time with her customers. She offers pleasant service, as well as conversation. All in all, an outstanding breakfast. Had a breakfast date here. Breakfast dates should totally be a thing! When my date and I arrived, it was quite packed inside...definitely seemed like more than 50% capacity. We were offered a choice of about a 5 minute wait, or to sit outside. We went with outside. Upon arrival at our table we were asked if we wanted the heater turned on. It was a little crisp, so we said yes. The tables and chairs (at least my chair) was not level with the ground outside. Was a little uncomfortable. I started with coffee. It was a pleasant surprise that they have dairy alternatives; soy milk and almond milk. Coffee was nice and smooth. For my meal, I decided on the classic breakfast with bacon. It also came with potatoes. Classic it was...and a bit basic. Eggs and potatoes needed more seasoning. Service was good. Our waitress kept checking to see if we needed anything. First time here based on Yelp reviews. Not impressed. Had the $20 short rib grilled cheese special. Was just Ok taste wise but lacked value. Cheese was not melted and the cook went very cheap on the short ribs. However, I must say they must have sensed something. The only complaint I had was that the cheese was not not melted. Indoor seating was pretty packed and a small space, which was concerning. Seemed to be a bar indoor too. All staff was wearing masks. Space: interior design is clean and building seems really. Came for breakfast with my co workers to celebrate their birthday. Made a reservation for 7, super accommodating, called about a day in advance for 10:30 am on Wednesday (veterans day). Also, the owner is a DOLL. Genuinely one of the kindest people, so friendly, can't say enough about her. For the food/ drinks... one person drank a coffee with alcohol, he loved it. I got a cappuccino which was perfect, everyone else pretty much had coffee. For food, everyone was super happy with everything. They offered breakfast/ lunch at the tome so there was a combo of that. Steak and eggs were delish, I got a frittata which was not traditional but a healthy take on it. It was huge, I couldn't finish it all. One of my coworkers got the salmon which he gobbled up, another one got the corned beef hash and said it was the best he ever had in his life. me & you was a delight! we had friends visiting and one of them is gluten free, so we used the occasion to finally try it out since they have plenty of gluten free options, including pancakes. we actually ended up going two days in a row because our first visit was so great. i got the pumpkin waffles on that occasion and they were absolutely incredible, and the homemade whipped cream was the icing on the cake (near literally). the classic breakfasts, omelette, and gluten free pancakes also got rave reviews over the two visits, and i enjoyed the special k crusted french toast on day 2, though admittedly not as quite much as the waffle. the service and environment was great, as well. Finally got to eat here for lunch with my husband after an appointment. Been meaning to try this place since we moved to Bethpage in 2020. Have to say, very delicious! I went in probably September/October and they had butternut squash soup. It was SOO yummy! The portion sizes are great. Not too big and enough to fill you up. The ambiance is so cozy and cute. We were hopeful about this place based on the reviews, but it was a complete disappointment and I do not recommend it at all. I feel completely duped. I think setting up Mother's Day as a price fixe buffet brunch was purposeful and greedy. I don't think we've ever spent so much money on a brunch in our lives- over $600!!!They charged $72 per adult, $39 for children 2-6 (think chicken fingers and fries- not even a pancake- !!!) and $52 (!) for children 7-12. We knew this in advance but expected so much more. The food was sub par- think a step up (if that) from diner food. And by the way 20% gratuity WAS included for servers- the menu stated the opposite-who really did nothing except forget to tell us about the complementary champagne and mimosas. We didn't get those. We had to wait ON A LINE for our food; no one served us!! I was a waitress and my family is in the restaurant business and I would never leave a poor tip, but I think they set it up with gratuity included (btw AFTER advertising the menu that said gratuity was NOT included) knowing how ridiculous the pricing was and when people saw the final bill after what they got, they WOULD consider leaving less of a tip. We did not have any alcoholic drinks, just sodas and coffee and the bill was over $600 for 8 people, three kids included in that number! I feel as if the owners took advantage of the holiday and it seems as if one of the owners was a female, which makes me even more disappointed. Everyone knows that families like to go out esp for brunch- in large numbers- on Mother's Day. This was blatant greed and obviously they felt their little place in Bethpage could compete with the quality of some of the finest restaurants in NYC who serve brunch. They didn't serve nuanced food- think shrimp cocktail and over-dresses Caesar salad- and not much variety at all and almost nothing for vegans or vegetarians. Just boring food. And filet mignon doesn't warrant the price tag per person. Give me a break! Don't bother- not even because the food was sub par but the owners are greedy because their little restaurant in Bethpage has 4.5 stars on Yelp. I've been to hoighty toighty country clubs with double the amount of food choices that charge less per person. Shame on you!!! read more

Come inside to a welcoming family-style cafe to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee (or cappuccino complete with a stick of rock candy and biscotti) along with a full menu of breakfast lunch and dinner options. Fay, the owner has a wicked memory and always remembers our favorites as well as offers new suggestions for adventurous days.
