I had a BUNCH of designer clothing damaged due to moisture. Exclusively Thierry Mugler, Escada, Donna Karen, & Armani. I called Meadowlark ahead of time to find out if they work on such a problem and the guy (with an accent) said he would "have to see it". I said 'no problem' I'll bring in one of the pieces for you to see. Well today I brought in a piece, a Donna Karen blouse that I paid about $800 for. When I asked the man behind the counter if he was the man I spoke to on the phone about the damaged designer items, he said he 'didn't know'. I replied 'no problem', and explained the issue with the damaged clothing and showed him the blouse. He didn't say much, or offer any suggestions, so to move the conversation along, I gave him two choices: 1. I can remove the white spots myself then bring the items back for normal dry cleaning. Or 2. They could remove the white spots along with the dry cleaning. He said "what ever I want". I replied, "Well have you seen this type of problem before?", and he said "yes". I then asked, "So how would you remove the spots?", and he replied "I'm not going to tell you". I was stunned. It appears I am not allowed to know what chemicals they would be using on my (expensive) items. This has to be the worse customer service experienced I have ever had and I am 59 years old. This guy MUST be a relative of the owner because there are a LOT of other people, even teenagers, that could provide a far superior consumer experience. If one of my employees ever said those words to one of our clients, and I don't care in what capacity, they would be fired on the spot. I will NEVER go back here. There is no way I wouldn't let this guy touch any of my valuables, no way. Attached is a pic of the two racks of designer clothes that need dry cleaning. ZERO STARS i took my jacket in for alterations they charged me $44! Did not do what I requested and when I asked them to redo it. The little man behind the counter told me that I was stressed.. what!? Then they told me they would send me the video recording of me bringing in my jacket WTF! Who gave them permission to videotape their customers?? I took the jacket to a dry cleaner down the street on the corner of Springdale and Warner called Ace Cleaners. Completely overpriced! Was looking for a new dry cleaner and this is definitely not it! Dropped off 4 dresses and I guess I should have asked how much because I definitely got sticker shock. $66.90. A few of the dresses were from SHEIN which they changed me more to clean then I paid for the dresses. I will be on the hunt for a new cleaner. BEWARE!! Highly recommend you go through the other reviews as well. I wish I did, but I came in hopes that I wouldn't have those same experiences. First time: Clothes were covered in dog hair and my collars were pressed in a way that they flared out. Second time: covered in dog hair again except now they said "oh and you ripped your shirt" then proceeds to hand me the shirt while showing me and saying we didn't do this. (This was a BRAND NEW $120 SHIRT that did not have this tear) I said I did not do that and it was not like that when I dropped it off. The collars were also faded and burnt from them pressing. He did acknowledge this and said "well it's because the material under it" If you knew this, why would you not recommend a different service? Solution? He still wanted to charge me for it and proceeded to call his manager because I refused to pay for my now damaged $120 shirt. See pictures and trust me it's not worth going here even in a pinch. I can't rate the quality of their services but their marketing is downright irritating, which is enough to deter me: My girlfriend and I parked in the lot they share with a Ralph's only to notice a guy walk up and stand in front of her car. He didn't say anything like "Hi! I work for these cleaners, would you like a coupon?" No...he waited for us to walk into the grocer before slapping his coupon in the window of our freshly washed car (it was still slightly wet in all of the seams as well as having several droplets on it). We come out a few minutes later to find a soggy piece of paper wedged in our window. We tried to take it out but ended up with it falling apart and leaving half of the thing in our door. The way I've always seen it is if your business needs to stick pieces of trash that you're too lazy to throw away onto my car, I lose all desire to become a patron there. read more

I have probably been going here for close to 30 years. In the last few years, they've put their own permanent tracking bar code on all garment tags to help them track garments. It doesn't come off and they put them on without your permission. I had started asking them not to and they complied but today I was told it would cost $1.00 per item for them to NOT PUT this permanent tracker on which covers part of the clothing tag. I never gave permission to devalue my clothes for their own gain so now they've lost my business for good. read more

Came here because it's the cleaners that is near me. I needed a stain to be taken out of shorts they told me $7.50, which seems high but whatever it's right across the street. Only to then be told to come back in 5 days for them, for one little pair of shorts that I needed the next day. I went to get my boyfriend's athletic shorts altered because there were holes in the lining of the shorts and I had asked for patchwork. A week later, I got messy, unconventional and lazy patchwork done. There were countless lose threads falling from the patch and the ends of the fabric were not trimmed down. It seemed as if someone used a scrap piece of fabric for this. The stitching was also all over the place; some parts not even closed (I could fit my finger in the patch), and other parts were "bubbled" up instead of being taught before being stitched down. In the last photo, you can see the end result after I trimmed everything, but you can also see how weird the shape of the patch is- that long piece on the right is useless as there were no holes there- and a small hole on the right was never even covered, only left to stretch and get larger. I am disappointed and now embarrassed to return these to my boyfriend. read more

I'm surprised by the bad reviews. I've been here a few times. My first time was 2 years ago and I brought lots of pieces and had a few pants hemmed. I remember thinking wow that was a good deal when I picked up my clothes but don't remember the exact price or number of pieces. I don't have a lot of dry cleaning needs so haven't been back often. Recently took in some pillow covers, couch cover and down comforter. I was pleased with the service. Reading the other reviews it's just seems like people are spoiled. It had more to do with not feeling greeted properly more than the service. It's a dry cleaners people. Get over it. I will say I first stopped by a few minutes after they closed and the lady was still willing to take in my order even though they had closed and shut down the register. What I enjoy most by going to the cleaners, it's local and the clothes are clean as expected. Friendly service, it seems like they go the extra mile for you to make sure that you're happy. That means a lot to me especially with prices going up & up. I had a large order and the owner helped me take my clean clothing to my vehicle. He also, told me about his free delivery service, that way my clothing would still look fresh and not wrinkled when I arrive home. That information helped very much. Meadowlark cleaners is one of the best in town. I've tried other cleaners in the area. They replace my broken buttons without me telling them and get the food stains out of my dress shirts. I've read some of the comments listed on Yelp and all dry cleaning is expensive if you want it done right, As for my comforters and linens, they always clean mine properly. I've talked to the owners over the past 15 years and they said they try to get stains out for everyone, but sometimes their items should be thrown out and not cleaned. They had a line, so obviously they do a good business, so they must not be that bad. The woman at the counter was very helpful, and friendly. She asked if I needed a rush, which I didn't. The time quoted to get my uniform back was very reasonable, and only a little over $5.
