This is definitely what you would consider "A Spot". Very small and it has a liquor store attached. The people are friendly and the food is actually pretty good. I ordered the veggie pizza hold the black olives and a order of the 24kt Wings. All very good and I will definitely return to try more of their items. I will drive an hour to go get a pizza or whatever before I order from them again. They were horrible to my husband and I. Some lady took our order and she was even talking to the guy in the background to ask if they had what we were asking for. We wanted a steak subs but in a wrap. We rode 20 minutes to get there for them to tell us they didn't have wraps. They claimed they called me to let me know, but they sure did not. The place was closing in 10 minutes and they refused to accommodate us in any kind of way. The guy at the counter was super rude. I was a loyal customer that normally gets my food delivered by Meadows but they don't ever have to worry about my service or recommendations again. I'm not sure who's writing the reviews for this pizza and sub shop. The pizzas are OK they're not that great they remind me of a knock off Dominos pizza. The staff at the front register is horrible. She act like she was doing me a favor when they messed up my order twice and to redo it. The first couple of time I ordered from this pizza spot it was okay. We normally order from Meadows on a regular, getting the same items...Normally the food is good. However, tonight I ordered 2 steak and cheese subs. The pictures speak for themselves. The other steak and cheese was fine. I called the store and spoke to Jimmy explaining that we are regular customers and that one of the subs, hardly had any meat on it. As I was talking, he first comment was, "are you done talking? "Then he preceded to tell me how their meat is portioned out so it's impossible. Then he tried to tell me it's because there were no toppings. I told him I can send him pics of what it looked like. He said no and very rudely said what do you want me to do! He said you want another one? I told him no and goodbye. As I stated before, I have ordered from here many times, I had no intentions of going all the way back up there I told my son to eat some pizza with it. What did I expect from "the owner" was customer service and not for him to act as if I'm trying to get over or have nothing better to do with my time then to make up there wasn't enough meat on 1 out of 4 subs we got. Just poor customer service all around. And since he didn't want the pics I decided to share online. All I can say is take the time to open your bag and CHECK food before you leave!!!! I'm posting this a month later because I was hoping they would have kept their word and refunded my credit card. On August 23rd, I ordered chicken fettuccine. I got home and I can smell that something was bad perhaps the cheese or milk. I called and and explained my situation. I also asked if they can come and pick it up come because I'm in the delivery area. They said no. I took it back to the restaurant and they told me my credit card would be refunded. They also offered me another chicken fettuccine. Why would another one? The smell was horrible. The lady that assisted me also smelled how bad the chicken fettuccine was. I called and spoke with the manager two weeks ago about my credit card not being refunded. The manager said he would look into the matter and call me back. I have not received a phone call nor was my credit card refunded. You've lost me as a customer. read more

Had it for the first time today. Pros: it arrived on time, the food was hot, and the meat lover's pizza was tasty. Cons: the chicken fettuccini Alfredo was bland. The Mrs didn't even want to eat it. The 24 karat boneless wings were sweeter than I expected. Maybe I should've gone with bbq but I typically love 24 karat wings. Would we try them again? They wouldn't be the first restaurant we call but I would give them another shot and hopefully have a better experience. read more

They serve an excellent thin crust pizza. Some of the people I have given Meadows pizza too say there is too much sauce, but It suits my tastes. The calzones are pretty good too. They are one of only 3 pizzas that I like in Prince George's County. read more

I had good experiences with Meadow's starting out, but their quality of product has taken a nosedive the past couple of visits, so much so that I have to write about it. Today, they burned the sub roll and skimped on the meat in what appears to be an effort to cut costs via using less materials, but still charging the same price while delivering a noticeably lesser product. I definitely have not gotten any bang for my buck the past few times I have purchased from Meadow's and am discouraged from using them going forward until they get back to putting out better product that's actually worth the money spent on it. read more

This satisfied my craving and surpassed my expectations! I was surprised by how much variety the menu features and would love to try other options next time I'm in town. There is not a single quality sub and pizza restaurant in Prince George's County Maryland and Meadow's is no exception. Meats, vegetables and soda are all subpar. Sodas are watered down. Breads appear to have been purchased in a day old bread store. Gyros are made of tasteless pressed meat instead of real lamb or chicken. The same can be said of steaks. Usually Meadows is pretty good and my kids love it. However, please be advised NOT to go by whats on their online menu. It is incorrect and they will not make any concessions nor apologize for their online menu being wrong. I ordered a bbq chicken pizza online toppings include mozzarella, gouda, bbq chicken and cilantro. What I received was a cheese pizza with bbq sauce. We order Meadow's about 3-4 times a month, usually on Friday or Saturday evenings. Meadow's never disappoints. The pizza is always amazing! The delivery can sometimes take a while but the drivers are friendly. I equate the time with them being busy since it's the weekend. If you are close and have the time, pick up is the way to go. I worked my way through the menu and found every dish well-prepared and tasty, portions generous, and the staff courteous and professional.
