We always use Yelp in California and now that we moved to Texas, Yelp is such a major tool to find the right people/restaurants etc... Meairs Property Inspection was not my first choice, actually I already scheduled an appointment with a different company but, after speaking to Andrew, everything changed, so I scheduled with Meairs Property Inspection. And I'm so glad I did because... I am a female who don't know much about these things, when speaking to Andrew on the phone, he didn't make me feel stupid..lol.. He explained in detail what he will expect from him, how much it will cost and also taught us things we didn't know. Do not let this guy in your home he makes things up and overstates simple inexpensive repairs as big issues. He does not even know the correct names for components of the house. He referred to a soffit as a sill. Recommends licensed electrician for a cracked cover plate and a sprinkler professional for a couple of head. Any homeowner know every spring there are some heads to be replaced at $1.50 each. He should be ashamed of himself trying so sound important. I would like to see his PE license. read more

Mr. Meairs inspected our property for a by owner sale. He was extremely thorough and took time going over a 24 page report that detailed everything from cracks in the walls, to roof ventilation. It covered things as major as possible plumbing leaks to things as small as cracked floor tile. Very friendly and easy to talk too. read more
