Came here because I wanted beef rib. Nat many places have that. Visiting from CA we stopped in. Yes outside looks sketchy lol but we said yolo! Inside is nice. Service was friendly and my beef rib was fantastic! Different than Texas or California bbq. We were pleased by it. Fall off the bone tender. Definitely worth the price.

Brisket was pretty good. The beef rib was fantastic! The lamb shank was extremely dry, I couldn't eat it. The Greek salad was obviously prepped days ago.

This place looks sketchy from the outside, but the inside is very nice and new and well done decor. The nicest people EVER because they were so friendly, and kindly explained the process of ordering. You pick your meat and how much and there were menus we just didn't see them. They gave us a sample of their lamb to help us decide. It was so good. I am not a huge fan of barbeque or smoked meats but it was tender and delicious, but a little dry. The brisket was moist and tender and divine. The sides were flavorful and the salad tasted fresh. The cheesecake with pistachios was very good too. Overall, I will be back, and I gave them 4 stars because the lamb was dry and to order was slightly confusing (no menus readily available, no clear signage as to where to start ordering).

I love BBQ and i knew this would be a different kind of twist on it. The restaurant is in a strip mall but once you are inside it feels quite nice. The booths and tables seem new (it's only been open 7 months) and were clean when we arrived. I had the 1/2 lb of beef rib and it was just perfect at $20. I had black cherry chipotle sprinkled on and I think I would skip it next time because the meat was cooked perfectly as it was. The $20 includes sauces, a side and a salad. I chose sweet potato fries that were delicious and their bread made to order in the oven. We were not super excited about the brisket because we got the point and it was more fatty than we like. But the flavor was good and it was very tender. They have a lot of salads and sides you don't find in traditional BBQ places. Definitely check it out when you are close.

Meatville Smoking is what seems to be Nashville's version of Meat Moot. The sides are very flavorful and the meat is good quality. Although it is pricey, the product is good. The all you can eat sides from Meat Moot makes for a more fun dining experience but this spot is a near match for it.

Man was I excited to try this spot. I first found this new restaurant from an Instagram video that someone posted and made the effort to make my way over. The genius idea of Egyptian bbq/smoking is something I had to try for myself. I'll make the disclaimer I'm not an Egyptian food expert. I LOVED this place, from top to bottom they impressed. They greet you when you come in, menu was a bit confusing but all you have to do is pick the premium meats and that's about it. They take their time to make sure your food is prepared properly and up to your liking. Pick a meat, add your own seasonings, add honey and the sides. Extremely impressive experience. I ordered the beef shank and it was incredible. Only thing that was a bit weak were the drink selection, I expected a bit more options and some Egyptian drink options other than just coke and sprite. A++++++ experience and food. This is something everyone should be putting on their list for their next outing.

Friends told me about MeatVille Smoking Kitchen in Antioch. Seeing as I was in the area decided to stop in. Now this place isn't your normal southern or Texas "BBQ" spot, but they do have a good variety of smoked meats. This is more of a Middle Eastern style, and it is pretty darn good. I met Miriam by the cutting board and with the glass so high it's difficult to hear, so she came out to me and gave me an overview of the process. Her sister Margaret helped me with the sauces and rice and house salad. They will share some samples, I tried the brisket with seasonings and it was good. First you select a meat or a few meats if you're that hungry or sharing, seasonings, sauces, and a couple of sides...pretty simple and Miriam and Margaret were very helpful. I went with the Lamb Leg, yellow rice, and salad and for sauces I opted for Tahini and the Fresh Green Herbs. The lamb is extremely tender, and the bone slid out with zero resistance. It was very good but when Arcenous (sp) stopped by to inquire about the food, he asked me why no honey??? So, he gets me a side of honey and I must say...lamb dipped in honey is INCREDIBLE! Both sides were delicious and simple with nice flavors. When I was checking out, Miriam asked if I had the Egyptian or yellow rice (I had the yellow)? She gave me a sample of the Egyptian rice...absolutely delicious and will be on my plate the next time I visit. Great food and exceptional service and friendship from the folks here...highly recommend. 2695 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN https://meatville-smoking.com/

We had the beef rib and brisket. Both were tender and delicious. Our sides included salads, potatoes, carrots, and rice. The sides were just ok, nothing special. Service was good and the place is nice and clean inside.

I live nearby and spotted this new place. I had to check it out! Upon entering, you'll find a long table with all the paper menus (I just realized I forgot to grab one on my way out). I decided to go for a Kofta sandwich. I also ordered some grape leaves. The staff member was super friendly and explained everything to me. He mentioned that my sandwich would take 10-15 minutes, which I had no problem with. Just a heads up, the drinks are all bottled. The decor is really nicely done, and they have a wide open space with some large tables to accommodate larger parties. The food came out super quickly. And the food was delicious! I think it's probably the best grape leaves I've ever had. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was great. I'll definitely make this a regular stop of mine. It's a huge bonus that I live nearby. I'll have to come back and try more of their dishes.

Lamb shank suppose to be 1/2 lbs but it was huge.

If you haven't been here, yall are missing out!! This place is Delicious!!! I honestly didn't know what I was walking into but I loved the layout of this place. The workers there was so helpful, bc I didn't know what to get so I just gave them the choices of what I had in mind of what I wanted and let them choose for me. And then also with the seasoning I just let them do their thing and as far as my side I got the mashed potatoes and it was really good. And then also the house salad. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the meat was so tender!!! The price for the food was really reasonable and you get a lot for your money so that's a good thing. But you guys if you have not been here you definitely need to try it because it was amazing!

I seen the 4.8 rating and thought I'd try this place. The food was excellent. Very friendly staff. Very clean restaurant with modern decor. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

I had the brisket and pork tacos, both delicious. The brisket taco was especially delicious. It's fast-casual. You order at the front and they give you a number. You've got the Jack Cawthon's legendary…read moreJack's Bar-B-Que, pitmaster Carey Bringle's incomparable Bringle's Smokin' Oasis, and then you have Edley's. For the longest time, Bringle's was my absolute favorite in town, but Edley's may have just managed to take the crown. I almost feel like I'm cheating on Mr. Bringle by saying that, but as he famously put it, "You don't have to hate somebody else's barbecue to like mine." My default order at any top-tier joint is either a brisket plate or a multi-meat combo platter with brisket as the anchor. Edley's plates come properly equipped with two sides and a slice of cornbread. Where they really set themselves apart, though, is the menu flexibility: -The Add-Ons: You can throw on a $5 upcharge to add an extra 3 oz of meat or a jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage. -Burnt Ends: Edley's offers burnt ends, which is a bit of a rarity in town and something you don't easily find over at Jack's or Bringle's. If they're available when you order, grab them. Price-wise, Edley's isn't cheap, but it's far from overly expensive. It sits at fair market value, costing roughly what you'd pay for a comparable meal at any of the other major players in Nashville. The meats are high quality, wonderfully smoked, and packed with deep flavor. Beyond the rare burnt ends, the sauces here are what truly elevate the meal. Across the board, Edley's house sauces--from their classic red to their white sauce--are probably my personal favorites in the city. Between Jack's, Bringle's Smokin' Oasis, and Edley's, you genuinely cannot go wrong--Nashville barbecue is in great hands. But right now? Edley's holds my top spot. It is my ultimate "treat yourself" meal in town.

I found myself over at Bellevue for dinner, 2 hours before my hockey game. I wanted quality food…read morebut not super carb heavy but also not something that could potentially wreck my stomach. After all, can you imagine having digestive problems while playing hockey? I love barbecue so I thought I'd try this place. I walked in and it wasn't at all busy at 5:32. However when I finished my order, the line was out the door. I asked the cashier what was good and the manager (maybe owner) walked over and I asked him. I wanted ribs or brisket, but needed a 2nd opinion. He said he would choose brisket because theirs is USDA Prime and he would put it against any other barbecue restaurant in Tennessee. Those are some bold words. So I ordered the brisket platter (fatty portion) with green beans and cinnamon baked apples. What I received was 3 good sized portions (1/2 pound) of fatty brisket. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth without an overbearing amount of fat clumped together. The bark was salty and very peppery. It was actually good enough to eat without a sauce. Speaking of, there was only one sauce on the table, so I used that. It was a sweet sauce, definitely honey-based but not overly sweet like other honey-based sauces I've had in the past. The thing is I love everything honey-related, so I would definitely buy this to take home. It was so good, I was scavenging for brisket fibers on my plate. So I praised the brisket but I think the shocker was the green beans. These were hands down, the best green beans I've ever had...ever. Salty, tender, peppery, with chunks of meat and fat, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Who would have thought that a side could be that good? Last but not least, the Cinnamon Baked Apples. I love baked/fried apples. Something about the tart and sweetness brings me back every time. The apples were soft, but not mushy. I would have liked them to be a little more tender and more slices of apples. I think there was more sauce than apples but nevertheless, they were great. Overall I'm glad I visited Honeyfire for the first time. I'm here often (near Bellevue) so I'll definitely be coming back again and again.

The trim was unique and I do not care for sauce on brisket (my fault for not reading), but this was some good BBQ. It's a typical setup for BBQ. You order at the counter, grab your drinks, find a table, and wait for the feast to arrive. They have all of the usual suspects.
