This is my experience with Tacoma canopy world. First off I need to say I'm a very easy going guy and think its better to be kind and try and work with people instead of getting short with them. I treated all the employees with kindness. I put in an order for a custom Snugpro canopy for my new 2020 Tundra. This was no cheep order and it came out to be just under $4000. I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get it in. Well 3 months later the canopy came in. I wasn't frustrated with longer order time, that seems to be normal in the covid days. Unfortunately they had ordered the canopy wrong. I ordered it to have the same handles on all the doors and they ordered it with different handles on the back door. Not only that they back door was all scratched up. They tried to see if I would just take the canopy and would not offer to fix it. After asking to get the right door ordered they acted all frustrated I wanted the right door saying ''fine we can do that''. After waiting 5 more weeks to get the right door I came in for the install. After the installation while diving there was a loud squeaking sound in the cab. I thought it might be a bit loose so I went to tighten it down and noticed that the clamps were only attached to the inner, thin part of the bed rail and bent it over! The first damage to my new truck was from having to canopy installed. So I went back in and asked to purchase better brackets. They thought it might take care of the squeaking and the major leaking that was also going on. It fixed nether. The squeaking ended coming from the forward seal rubbing on the cab and there was still major leaking. I took it back in and asked for them to try and fix the leak and trim just a LITTLE BIT of the seal back off the cab. For the leak they just put some silicone in the actual bed of the truck where some water is coming in but its still leaking in though the seal! And as far as the forward rubber seal they cut it all the way off! And did an absolute hack job of it. Looks like some little kid just hacked at it with a dull knife....Unbelievable. Its still leaking, but hey the squeaking is gone. I will be pulling the canopy off myself, ordering a new forward seal and replacing then trimming it. I am way to spooked that they will just mess more things up if I go back. Do yourself a favor and don't go to Canopy World read more

Where do I start there are no words. I am a recent widow at 52. So many things I don't know how to do that my husband took care of. His truck his pride and joy was one of them a 2003 Chevy Silverado in mint condition. I went there because back in 2004 we had canopy world put on a tunnel cover for us which they did a beautiful job and match the paint beautifully. Recently over the last couple years the seals have gone and it has started to leak and the alignment for shutting the tunnel cover was off and becoming difficult to close. Today after consulting with another gentleman a couple weeks ago I bought the truck in to be looked at and evaluated. They did not pressure me into any sale whatsoever no canopy no new tunnel cover no nothing here is what this wonderful company did. A young gentleman came out and at no cost or charge to me realigned the back of the canopy so that it would shut. He also shared with me that there is no replacing the seals as they are super glued on and a certain away. They did not even charge me for this either and it was done with a smile and with pride I think you guys so much thank you thank you thank you read more

!!!!!! alert!!!!! damage during install!!!!!! $630 .00 worth i took my brand new ford f150 here (160 miles). bed liner did not fit correctly. 1st .they scraped the area on the tailgate thats not covered by the liner bed screws in the tailgate were reused and overtightened and stripped and crooked sent some photos to rugged liner, i was advised it was a warped bedliner, i was told by them the new screws come with the liner and should have been replaced. and it did not look good. i decided to take it back. i watched them remove it. ,i watched 2 employees slide down the side of my new truck with there coat zippers sliding down the side of the truck, i guess i was lucky there was no more damage at this point. once the liner was removed i noticed several deep gouges and scrapes and pry marks inside the bed ( down into the metal). they had used pry bars or screwdrivers to force the liner in !!! (please see photos) off to the body shop with my brand new truck. $630.00 in damage at a discounted rate. i dropped off the estimate and got a call later on from a guy who was a "manager" his basic position was there disclaimer on the bottom of the invoice , that certain damage may occur with the use of aftermaket parts .that invoice was signed during the install and before the truck brought around.look at you truck before you sign anything. !! i guess if you want your brand new drop in liner installed in your brand new truck with prybars and screwdrivers these are your guys. read more

I could not believe that buying a canopy could be such and easy and great experience. I got a wonderful canopy that they make, the roy-el. It is just a great canopy. But dealing with the gals in the office was great. They were very professional and very cute I might add. When I had it installed, on time by the way, the two men that did it was also very profession and knew what the hell they were doing. Did a great job. And that's about it. Hey, I would like to tell you all about a wonderful experience I just had with this business. I own an '81 VW Rabbit Pickup therefore not a lot of places are willing to do business with me, claiming that my canopy is too old and they don't want to take the responsibility for damaging anything. At this place they were willing to work with me and the technician that was working on my canopy, Sean, didn't give up on the job until I got what I needed. He did not charge me extra even though he had to spend a bit over an hour for work that I payed for for only 30 minutes. The service was very professional, not over-priced, very friendly, and straightforward. This kind of attitude is so rare from people in this industry that I had to let you all know about this place. A problem that I had with my canopy for over a month that nobody else was willing to help me with got solved in an hour and a half at reasonable prices. I ordered a c annopy for my truck. They where kind enough to put a loaner on my truckso I could use on vacation. That I appreciate, so I come back from vacation to have them put mine on and they tear the sscreen plus scratch the new one. Then say they will take a month to fix. Worst experience I will never go back nor recommend anyone to them. read more
