They claimed the low number was because they have to do new tires, a regular maintenance service, and fix the dent before listing it. While I understand dealerships face reconditioning costs and need a profit margin, those standard wear-and-tear items total around $1,500 at dealer cost--they do not justify wiping out $6,000+ of a bike's equity. Attempting to take a $7,000+ spread on a low-mileage Milwaukee-Eight cruiser is unacceptable. They clearly target people they hope are desperate for fast cash. Walked out immediately.
