This place is the best! The cashier Cindy is literally the nicest personable person. I love the chicken kabob and the rice from this place definitely one of my frequented spots. Okay so still absolutely love the food here, except for the fact that I was denied one piece of pita bread with my chicken skewer I ordered today. Normally I'll order a side of chicken and rice instead of the plate to cut down on the amount of food they give and it is complimentary. Today the cashier tried to charge me .55 cents! I loved this place. I went to order food before they closed and the lady told me they are closed already. 6 mins away I called the store number at exactly 830 pm which was 30 mins away from closing. I called again and again and no answer. I work across form them and I saw the lady looked at the phone while ringing and ignored my calls. Tasty food, prices are standard. Expect to wait 20+ minutes for your food even though your at a mall food court.

I have been coming to this place for years. Love the food... but, I was very disappointed with the customer service tonight. Their hours say that they close at 9. I was still shopping around and I sent my daughter to grab a plate to go around 8:40. It's not a huge mall. It took her 5 minutes to go and come back to where I was shopping and told me that they were closed. I had to drop what I was doing to go argue with them. If they want to start cleaning at 8:45 so they can go home at 9..... then list your hours of operation at 8:45... not 9! When I went back... they still sat there and argued with me for another couple minutes before they sold me my food. The cook even called me a liar for telling them that I have been there at 9 and was still able to buy food. There were 5 people working and they stopped selling food early so they can start cleaning. All the other places had 3 employees at the most and were still open. This is a newer crew. The only one I have seen there for a while was the cook who called me a liar. read more

I worked here and the employees are very rude. They do not use gloves in the back when prepping your food & we received many complaints daily about undercooked or burnt food. The employees will argue with you and do not care about their service, mainly because they are not trained but simply thrown in their position so they are bound to make many mistakes. Why have I never reviewed this place?! Wth?! This little place has been a favorite of mine since the 90's when my mom would bring food home from here after shopping! LoL. It used to be massis kabob before. Same great food, new name and look. This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Montebello. I know what you're thinking, "mall food? This dude doesn't know good food!" Well to all the neigh sayers, try it before you knock it!! It's really good and you get a big darn plate of tummy rice under your dinner entree, at least double what you would get and Zankou(which I don't get y they're so popular, I don't care for Zankou at all) The Lula kabob and chicken are deeelish!! And the hummus? Not to be passed over! Those are my usual items. Their taboule is also really tasty, it's not overwhelming like it can be from some restaurants. They also have falafel. I love it when Life hands you little successes. My wife heads to the mall with my daughter for shoes. I'm hungry so I hit Yelp and see This place listed in the Mall Registry. Check it out and it looks OK. I had her Pick Up the Chicken Trio Plate. It had Koobideh, Chicken Kabob and Tandori Chicken with Rice. I could not believe how delicious it was. As I polished off the plate I thought to myself, I can't believe that I am actually planning on going to the Mall to Eat. I Never Wanted top Be One Of Those People. But hey, Good is Good.
