Wow, this pizza was phenomenal! Perfect amount of sauce, cheese, chicken and crust. Pizza crust was fluffy, and crispy with a soft inside. Chicken was seasoned really well and the hot sauce drizzle wasn't overwhelming like other pizzerias. Restaurant was clean!! The seating arrangement was also good, they sat people at every other table which is a plus. This is a great stop after drinking, and it's pretty cheap as well! First time ordered here, I was amazed why the fact that they were open late and delivery, It's A+ for me. The delivery was great and food came really well pack. I ordered the Gyro Platter, it's huge for one person, the flavor was good and fresh, but a little bit to oily for my taste. We also ordered the Hummus and again really big size portion. The hummus was dry and it did not look fresh, the pita bread was really good. I will give another try just because of the hours that the work (until 3am) and because they delivery and overall the flavor was good. Was really craving a good gyro and found this place using yelp. We ordered a combination gyro, a falafel platter, and babaganoush. To be honest, I was a little skeptical when I originally looked over the menu, because they have such a vast range of foods including pizza and wings. We did curbside pickup and scheduled our pickup time through the online website. Everything was user friendly and super easy. The gyro was fantastic and so packed with meat. I loved that they used real pita bread. Some other places have been using really cheap thin pita or even tortilla which I am not a fan. The falafel tasted phenomenal along with the babaganoush. We should have ordered an extra order of pita though. My only other complaint was that I asked for extra tzatziki sauce with my gyro and noticed the sauce that comes with the falafel and the gyro are different. The falafel has real tzatziki sauce, but the sauce that comes with the gyro is more of a mayo/sour cream kind of sauce. Still good but not the same. read more

The Mediterranean grille was okay. Not the best that I ever had and the website shows the dinning room and not the "pizza side" of the restaurant so I was a bit confused when I walked in. As for the food, it have had better. Here is why I say this. The meats were seasoned and wasn't bad. The portions were good and I was full at the end of the meal. The hummas and the white rice were both plain. I can make tastier hummas at home. I'm sorry to say that if I lived here I would not be a frequent guest. One last thing, their Yelp page says check in and get a 15% discount. That didnt happen, and I got a "next time" from the cashier. read more

I was in the area with the family and wanted some clean Mediterranean food. I saw this restaurant but was concerned because the menu is so extensive. You have Mediterranean, Pizza, Burgers, Italian etc. I figured it does everything but nothing good. I was wrong. The food was excellent. We had the mixed grill platters. Very tasty and huge portions. Each platter was 2 big meals. My son had the fried chicken sandwich and enjoyed it immensely. We started with Mantu. Never had it before. It is an Afghan dumpling with beef and onions. Excellent. Very big and filling. We each had one and took the rest home. We are excited to go back and try other dishes and share the restaurant with friends and family. A true hidden gem. read more

First time ordering from this place. I ordered a hot sandwich (mixed gyro) and Greek salad. Mixed gyro: at first looked good, however... The French fries were saggy. The pita was REALLY oily (like dripping oil), the meat (mixed chicken and lamb) had bones on it!!! So here I am, thinking I am about to enjoy a good food when, for my surprise, I cut the top of my mouth with a piece of bone that I thought it was a rock. I started coughing and needed to literally force myself to regurgitate what I was eating to not eat bones. I thought "ok, mistakes happen... Maybe just a small..", nope. There was too much bones mixed with the meat. The meat was not even good seasoned to justify the bones (ha-ha-ha). I went from an exciting moment of "yay, Mediterranean food!" to "I cannot eat this - this is wrong in too many ways". Salad: meh - the mint(?) The food was great! I ordered it for delivery and it came super fast..probably about 20 minutes! The portions were huge I could easily get two meals out of the greek salad with chicken! Menu descriptions don't quite match what arrives on the plate. Their qabuli palau is advertised as chunks of lamb under rice with qurma (meat sauce) for $15. Instead an extremely tender lamb shank was served under rice with no sign of meat sauce; a delicious side of spinach came unadvertised. And don't confuse a combo platter with a gyro; the combo is a plate of chopped meat and veg on top of rice. When we asked about the promised chunks of pita bread they were happy to bring some pita on the side. That platter is a huge pile of food for $12 but placing it in the menu's gyro section caused us some confusion. Slather on as much tzatziki as you like lol. There's a lamb/beef kabob (kebab?) in the Mediterranean Grill's list, I learned to call it a kofta kebab but here it's a shami kabob. Yet under salads there's a kufta kabob, IDK what that is. Also choose from beef, chicken, or beef + chicken kebabs. Or they'll make you mozzarella sticks & a cheese burger, didn't expect that. On a Wednesday we were almost the only table in the place. Service was in training, we had to ask for extra glasses, ask for more water, etc. Tried asking for a ice bucket, a big help at a BYO place on a warm evening, but no bucket could be found for our beers alas. Vegetarian rating: 3 stars for the many veg apps like falafel & hummus, but the only veg entree I saw was the veggie combo platter. For everyone who remembers Pete's Pub: it's a lot brighter but the layout is identical, the bar is still there but bereft of taps, the wall between the kitchen and the dining room is gone, the pizza & ovens are long gone. This is a plain place, don't bring a date here, do bring drinks. Very quiet, perfect for adult conversation. I hope this place does ok and I don't mean to slag my fellow yelpers but seriously, please explain to me some of those 5 star reviews, I didn't feel it here. read more

Mediterranean and pizza? Certainly an intriguing combination on the surface. We came in here early on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. Much to our dismay, the pizza portion of the "Mediterranean Grill & Pizza" is being phased out. Turns out that the owners acquired the location from a previous pizza shop and are working on removing the pizza from the menu and the pizza ovens from the restaurant. That being said, this is essentially an Afghan (or generic Mediterranean) restaurant. Nothing super fancy, but the food is pretty good. You start out with what seems like homemade bread with an olive/feta/oil dip. Next, we tried the Dolmeh (stuffed grape leaves) appetizer which came with a pomegranate sauce. The sauce was a great combination of sweet and sour and complimented the grape leaves very well. For my main dish, I tried the steamed pumpkin (Kadu Chalau). The main courses come with perfectly cooked rice (you can tell it's perfect because each grain is separately from each other). The pumpkin was good, but I found it to be a little bit bland with an overpowering garlic taste. The homemade yogurt sauce was one of my favorite aspects of this restaurant, and they tend to put it on everything in addition to providing a bottle at each table. Overall, I look forward to seeing how this restaurant evolves as they establish more of their own image and move away from the pizza. read more

FOODIE ALERT! Hidden Gem in Plain View. This place is hardly noticeable on the main street next to the Exxon so, parking isn't close. From the outside it looks ehh but, that is because of the building. Do NOT judge a book by its front cover. Who knew? They have a fancy side for that special someone on a date and a casual side for the informal experience. The food was absolutely AWESOME, it makes my mouth water thinking about it. The price was extremely reasonable for the large portions we received. Pace yourself because the appetizers are the size of Entrees. The service was quick, our food came right out shortly after we ordered and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place for the food and the experience on the fancy side. What amazed me the most about this place was the diversity of the menu. There is something to please everyone. We highly recommend: The Bouranee, an eggplant dish that makes your mouth water with every bite. Baba Ghannoush which we both agreed was the best we ever had. Gulpi a cauliflower stew with tomatoes onions garlic and spices that we devoured. I almost licked the plate. Thank goodness we had flat bread to wipe it up with so, I didn't embarrass myself in public. Sabzi a spinach dish which is one of my favorites when prepared well. This was prepared very well. Falafel The serving of falafel we had was a portion two people could have eaten as the entire meal served with cucumber yogurt sauce and diced cucumber, tomato salad. Yum! This is my go-to spot in Morristown for gyros. My in-laws are vegetarians and they love the falafel here. Their spicy green sauce is amazing, if you want to add some spice to your meal. One of the most terrible places I have ever eaten food in. This place needs to be reported to the health department. There are so many things wrong with it: 1) The guy behind the counter took our order and told us to take a seat. Once we did, what we witnessed was nothing better than a horror show. I ordered a kebab platter. Next we saw this guy behind the counter, going to the kitchen unwrapping everything BARE HANDS (without no gloves)!! 2) Next, he proceeded to put rice on the plate and again, to fix the presentation, he used his BARE HANDS to adjust pieces of rice so that he could make it presentable. This was just beyond gross. 3) Once the food came, one of the skewers of meat smelled rotten and gross and when I confronted him about it; the guy did the most unbelievable thing. This guy comes over to my table, literally put his BARE HANDS on my plate, broke a piece of kebab and put it in his mouth and was like "it taste okay" When we confronted him about the bare hands, he denied it and finally admitted by saying "oh it's difficult to do it in a pizza shop". Why would you serve proper dinner if you don't want to wear gloves. This place is gross, the food is rotten and on top of it all, the guy (who seemed like the owner) was just using his BARE HANDS for everything. Is this even legal? And I couldn't believe he reached out to my plate and just put food in his mouth. UNBELIEVABLE!! PSA: After writing this, I was appalled at some of the "good" reviews being written and then I read number of reviews which say the same thing, "THE GUY DOESN'T WEAR GLOVES AND COOKS WITH BARE HANDS AND HANDLES FOOD WITH HIS HANDS". One of the worst customer service I have ever had with this restaurant. I had called in to place a large catering order for $400 - $500 but instead of taking my order; the lady told me that she will call me back in a few mins. I said ok and then I waited for an hour but never got any call back. Then I called her again to remind her that it's a large catering order for more than $300 and I need it for my party on Sunday. But instead she shows me bad attitude and tells me that it doesn't matter to her if the order is $3 dollars or $300 dollars. I'm like WTF and then she hung up on me. Used to love their food. I am a vegetarian.We order veggie food and got chicken, lamb combo delivered. When we informed them via calling them they argued that we had placed a wrong order. Ok, we understand there might be some mistake taking down order. Fine. We asked them to deliver the correct order back. Order did not come for another hour.when we called to inquire, the same person initially took the order got annoyed about inquiring again. If you plan on deliverying late at least let us know! Knocking two stars off my original review. Why? Because today I came here for a lamb gyro, and watched as the kitchen prepared my order without wearing gloves. The pita was handled with bare hands, and the same gentleman was using the phone, roughly 30 seconds previously. As well, he had his hands in his pocket, and God knows where else.
