Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I've tried in all of LA. The food here is very high quality. I got the chicken and beef shish kebab. Plate came out hot and fresh. Salad was very good as well. What stands out here just as much as the food is the customer service. They are very prompt and helpful. If you are in the Pasadena area give them a try. The manager or owner was so nice I have never met someone so amazing who greets and gave my girls water instantly since it was too hot outside then he gave them some cucumber and cucumber salad. It came with the following; -shish kebab, chicken kebab, and 2 ground beef kebabs perfectly cooked and seasoned deliciously -Super fresh garden salad -Hummus -rice, this was the best rice I've had! Perfectly seasoned and great texture -pita bread I added on a side of their house made garlic sauce and that definitely was super addicting!! We also had the shirazi salad, which was tart, crunchy, and super fresh!! On top of the food being absolutely fantastic, the service was exceptional! They made me feel so welcome and valued as a guest! I was greeted with a warm smile and offered a bottle of water. He asked if I needed anything else and just made sure o had all o needed to have a wonderful at home dinner with my family! The dishes were packaged in great containers where everything was intact on my drive home! Best med food in So. cal. Kebab plates are phenomenal whether you select the chicken, filet mignon or salmon. The cucumber salad and hummus are amazing. Once you try, you will always come back for more. BTW, The owner is a class act and will treat you like a prized gem. This Mediterranean restaurant has really good customer service and really friendly. So I called in my To-Go order and the person who picked had a really upbeat friendly tone. When I arrived, I encountered the same person and was greeted by name. Really friendly guy gave me a free water to wait. I asked if I could use a the Yelp check in and he said of course, he'll give me both. Very awesome. This place seems more like a diner feel where you pay for your food first and then they bring it to you. It's not a true sit down where they have waiters to take your order. As I was waiting, there was a party that was seated and dining in. They actually came up to that party and checked in on how they were doing. Just wow, usually most restaurants don't do this. When I got my food it was delicious. The salad was well made, the ground beef was delicious, and the grilled chicken wasn't dry. The garlic better made everything taste delicious. Only thing was the bread was a bit dry and the garlic butter couldn't save that. The parking for this place is literally at the church. There are a few spots reserved for this plaza on the church side except on Sunday. The only downfall I see of this place is the pricing. If you compare the price to other Mediterranean places around the area, there's like a 3-4 dollar premium compared to the others. Portion sizing was good so I don't believe you'll be hungry after eating this. Overall, really good spot for Mediterranean food. Recommend trying this place out! We tried this place for the first time today (04/02), and I think most of the Yelp reviews were positively accurate. The prices are on the high side, but their food and service quality are exceptional. The meat on the beef Kabob plate was tender and flavorful. Door dashed from this restaurant last week. The food is good, there were some dishes that aren't that great. We order the family Platter where we get to choose at least 2 entrees and 3 sides. Ended ordering 3 entrees instead so we can try more food. The 3 entres of chicken, ground beef kebab, and Chelo kebab were all delicious. All tender and delicious. The rice was buttery goodness. And the garlic sauce that comes with the chicken tastes good. Note that we do taste a hint of horseradish in it. As for the sides - humus, stuffed grape leaves, and small falafel - the humus was good. My friends did enjoy the falafel, but it didn't taste right to me. Maybe because it was cold? But the flavor seems like there was something extra. The worst was the stuffed grape leaves. It tasted like cold, minty tooth paste and couldn't stomach it so we tossed it. Would never order that again. We also ordered the "famous" garlic fries. It was not good as well. The fries were kind of soggy and cold. There was no garlic flavor at all. I did however see some minced garlic but it just fell to the bottom. I would suggest that the box holding the fires should have some ventilation so the fried do not get soggy. We got rainbow trout, chicken sandwich, and garlic fries. I enjoyed the garlic fries the most. Their serving is big and the rainbow trout is good almost good for 2 people. My only comment is the food is somewhat lacking in flavor. Maybe a little bit more seasonings or maybe add some sauce on the side. Service is fast and servers are friendly. read more

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting this restaurant while I was in Pasadena last year on a school trip and let me tell you, I think about the food at least once a week! This is absolutely the best Mediterranean food I have ever eaten. Everything was fresh and prepared with care. Not to mention, the portion sizes were incredible for the price (especially in SoCal)! All my friends ordered different items from the menu and we shared with each other and everything I ate was incredible! My friends and I were the only people in the restaurant at the time and everyone on the staff made us feel so welcome! They let us push tables together so we could all sit next to each other. The owner was absolutely lovely as well! He came over to our table to chat and give us information about the food and even brought us a free hummus plate (best hummus I've ever had!) and baklava at the end :) The staff is truly gifted at making you feel like you belong. I walked into this place with little expectations & walked out completely blown away by not only the food but the service as well. I 100% recommend eating here. I don't remember the exact names of the food we ordered but we ordered a plate & a bowl along with a side of hummus. The plate came with chicken & filet along with rice & salad. The plate was 10/10 if you come here order the plates this is where the money is at. The filet was sooo tender & full of flavor & the chicken was juicy & well marinated as well. Even the grilled veggies blew me away. The chicken bowl was good & tasty but if I could do it again I would go with the plate. Definitely make sure to pay extra for their hummus it's delicious. They make it from scratch & it comes with pita bread. Overall, amazing food you're getting restaurant food quality here 10/10 Service/Atmosphere: the service here is just as good as the food. Ordered online for a fast pickup experience. Food was prepared on time and staff were kind throughout the process. Food: Falafel, chicken shawarma, rainbow trout, beef plate (?). The falafel was definitely the highlight of the meal and was perfectly seasoned and fried. The crunch of the falafel went really well with the smooth hummus and the soft pita was an incredible finishing touch. The shawarma was also super flavorful and tender and I would definitely recommend it to anyone trying the place out for the first time. The beef plate and rainbow trout were well cooked but there wasn't anything super memorable about them. Price; Large portions for fair prices. Except to spend around 16-18 dollars per person. Location: Parking can be hard since it's in Pasadena but you can normally find a spot. I love Greek food recently and one thing I really need to give this restaurant a thumbs up is they have pics on menu. (The one above the counter) This is really really for people to order! I been another 4 Middle East restaurants and no one has completely pics like this one. Very sweet for people not familiar with Middle East food.
