We ordered in person but to go and we were brought some water bottles and an amazing cucumber salad while we waited! Had the Boneless Chicken Kabob in Dark Meat from number 2 and when I first tried it, it was very delicious. The rice was soft with a lot of saffron to it and their meats were so juicy that I almost ate them all lol. The staff and the service was really friendly as well. It came with 4 pieces of shish Kabob, 4 pieces of chicken kabob, 2 ground beef, along with salad & hummus. I also ordered the cucumber yogurt on the side. The chicken was super tender and juicy, delicious! And everything else was just perfect. Best hummus ever too! And it's not expensive at all. This is my new favorite place to eat. The chicken swarma wrap is very tasty. The owner Ed is a very nice gentleman, so friendly with no ego. The cook, Lilly, is nice too and always consistent in what she does. To say that I was blown away at the freshness and flavor of the fish and the accompanying salad and rice is an understatement. And on top of that, THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!! My family and I came in with two pretty large separate orders and although we were the only ones there and maybe a bit tricky in our order, he made us feel like we were literally right at home. I used to order from Uber Eats and they were always so sweet about my add ons. I realized how close the place is to my work and came in person today, and they were so sweet. They let me try a cucumber salad while I waited for my order and accommodated my request for less rice. The food is made to order and always so fresh. The chairs are comfortable and the staff is really friendly. The only thing I didn't like was this computer that's supposed to try to help you order - but it malfunctioned. Thankfully, the cashier saw me and rushed to assist me and take my order down. They're also really clean and wear gloves and switch them out. Big Mediterranean fan so I've tried a couple spots. Was feeling like I wanted to try something different than my regular spot and I super glad I did. Food: large portion of rice. Meat was well seasoned and super tender and was cooked perfectly but the hummus.. it was super delicious! Service: nothing making food taste even better when you have great service. Ordered delivery. Missing items. Called them and the guy on the phone said "I counted 7 items so I'm safe on my end." And tried to hang up! Upon further explanation (they must have counted the rolled up pita as an item) he then informed me that I'm allowed to come and PICK UP THE ITEM MYSELF. Kept insisting he was "safe" and accused the delivery guy (grub hub) of stealing it. I called grub hub and they reimbursed me for TWO items because they thought his handling of the issue was total shit. Will not be ordering again. Chicken was ok, but the beef filet over rice was like 95% rice and 5% thinnest, smallest piece of meat. Nothing like the other places around town. We were shocked, and annoyed. read more

This place, formerly called Mediterranean Grill, is under new ownership and now serves exclusively Zabihah halal meat (they have certificates for both beef and poultry). The staff are friendly and very helpful, and the location is clean and well kept up. On to the food, I was extremely happy to find a place that serves halal shawarma in Pasadena. It's delicious, fresh, and well seasoned! We also got Soltani and the meet was fantastic! Best seasoning I've had in a koobideh in quite some time.
