this place is great for covid dining.... it's gone through a few ownership changes over the years, and so I went in this evening with pretty low expectations: regular, ambiguously Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food... First, the heat lamps are amazing... Eating outside, safely during this Omicron thing is very comfortable at this restaurant. The tables are safely spread out and it's open air. perfect. Now the food, the food is DELICIOUS. The salads are fresh and accented with herbs and nuts. The hummus and all its variations are delicious. The moussaka is different than the ones I have had in the past, but it is also delicious. The minced beef is okay - a little bland, could use a little spicy. But all in all, this place exceeded my expectations and is probably the warmest outdoor eating place on Burlingame Ave. read more

The beef and lamb gyro over Greek salad with tsatziki sauce was really good. I loved the falafel and Humus. Excellent experience, everything fresh, cooked from scratch, delicious, great professional service. There is a very special chef in this restaurant and the new owner is Ali. Food is prepared to TOP standards and is gourmet quality, on par with the finest you will find anywhere. The owner(s) treat you like family when you arrive. Hummus has strong zesty garlic that you can NOT get from grocery stores. The charboiled chicken (shish tawook) has a spices that'll blow your mind. It's juicy, and has a very nice charcoal flavor. Came here with a couple of friends on the sunny Sunday afternoon for a lunch. Ordered chicken kebab, lamb kebab, lamb rap and the salad with prawns. Everything tasted delicious.
