Worst pizza ever. Cold and sparce even though I ordered extra mushrooms. I cold at curbside. Pathetic. Wing just ok and warm. WTF.

Huge thanks to Neo at the Atascadero Domino's! Our family had a long day full of field trips and evening sports, and the last thing I wanted to do was cook dinner. We decided to stop by the Atascadero Domino's on our way home and ordered two large pizzas -- the BBQ Chicken and a classic Pepperoni that hit the spot for the kids. We also treated ourselves to the cinnamon bites and brownies -- both absolutely delicious! Dinner and dessert couldn't have been better. Even though the store was very busy on a Friday evening, Neo made sure our order was perfect and right on time. He was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Located south of downtown, on El Camino, is Dominos. Fast, easy, convenient, yes. Ordered on the app, went in, and picked it up. Seemed to be a one man band, but the NY Cheese Pizza and Cheesy Bread were ready. When I got home, I got to see more of a reflection of the economy. The pizza was very dry, barely any sauce. The cheese was slightly better, still horrible. The dough was cooked well and actually had a bottom to the pizza(unlike last time). The cheesy bread was the best thing, but it even had less cheese than usual. Minimum wage keeps going up, less workers working, prices for food keeps going up and then all foods cheapest parts to make, become the focus. *If you've ever made pizza, you know the cheapest thing is the dough, not the spices, cheese, tomatoes. When we order dominos it's because it's cheap, quick, and close by; so our expectations are pretty low. Our last two experiences here though, were so bad we can never return to the Atascadero location. We ordered two medium pizzas, one with pepperoni and white sauce and one half pepperoni half cheese with red sauce. An easy order that you would think would be hard to mess up, but they managed. When we picked them up we didn't bother checking if the orders were right because how can you screw up a pepperoni and a half pepperoni half cheese pizza? Turns out it can be pressed screwed up. 1. By the time we arrived home the copious amount of grease had over flowed and both boxes were totally soaked through to the point that they ruined my son's brand new sweatshirt and pants. 2. The pizzas looked like they had been cut in the dark during an earthquake. They were each cut into 6 slices, however some of the slices were less than an inch wide, while others were 1/3 of the pizza. 3. The red sauce tasted like it had gone bad, almost sickeningly sweet but also moldy tasting? 4. I LOVE salt, and am actually ordered by my doctor to consume an ungodly amount of salt during the day for medical reasons. The pizzas with the white sauce were so incredibly salty I couldn't handle it. It was as if they had put a tablespoon of salt on each slice. Needless to say both pizzas went in the trash. I called the store and was told "I don't understand the problem, that's how they come. The white sauce curdles in the oven and becomes really salty and greasy, and we need new cutters so... really this is on you" (this is our normal order so I know they should not look or taste like this) their solution was to give us store credit. We chalked it up to a fluke and tried again two weeks later. Where they then claimed we were not give store credit, eventually they gave in and gave us the pizzas which had pretty much just as many problems but different ones this time. We ordered a cheese and a pepperoni pizza then received a jalapeño and a mushroom pizza. I called the store, they were courteous and said the correct pizzas would be delivered. The pizzas arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the cheese pizza we received had absolutely no cheese on 2 slices. It seems like more than a simple mistake when 2 slices have no cheese on them. That being said, both delivery drivers and employees on the phone were professional and courteous. Pizza was good, what you'd expect from a domino's. Employees were nice. You don't typically think to check yelp for a place like domino's but you probabaly should for this one. Pizza took over an hour to be made. The store wasn't that busy, which was their excuse. No more busy than any other domino's location. There were 3 people behind the counter and I saw 3 delivery drivers come and go. Again they were polite, that's not the issue. They weren't short staffed (they specifically apologized and said that it got really busy and said nothing about staff). I have worked at pizza places before and am familiar with rush hours. But to have to wait an hour for your pizza is just crazy. Find a different pizza place. read more

Very difficult to order on app. This place doesn't honor any coupons for dominoes. It's been getting worse and worse over the years. Trying to get a pizza from this place. It's so difficult now I'm actually gonna start going somewhere else if you can actually get it ordered it seems like the pizza is generally OK but the order process and all the hoops you have to jump through are getting ridiculous. Every time I use the app I have to change my password because it doesn't remember. None of the prices on advertisements are honored by this location. Anything over $40 all of a sudden now has to be paid for by a credit card. Whatever the owner thinks is a problem. He is running this place into the ground slowly but surely. read more

This place is complete trash. multiple times I have never received my order, or even worse found it on my door step the following morning pretending like nothing ever happened. On all occasions I gave them the benefit of the doubt and redeemed their free one toping pizza (well below the original order amount) as compensation. I had finally had enough, and after receiving an order 4 hours late, with room temperature chicken wings unfit for consumption I disputed the purchase through my bank. If you want a pizza right away @ 6-8 on Friday or Saturday, go pick it up. Don't come on here and rate the store poorly because it took an hour or two during peak hours. I have currently been waiting for my pizza for an hour and a half and it still has not arrived. The website gave an estimate of 22-35 minutes. It has as of now been out of the oven according to the tracker for 40 minutes. When I called the store to check on it, I was just told that it was a busy night. Nothing else was said. For this wait, I will be ordering from....anywhere else. Update: the pizza arrived almost 2 hours late, it was lukewarm and honestly rather gross. The toppings were so lopsided that I had some pieces of pizza that completely lacked sausage. I are two pieces because I was starving. My partner barely finished one. Do yourself a favor and order from Pizza Express, Bravos or Nardones. At least you'll get edible food. read more

Decent pizza if you're willing to wait 3+ hours more or less every other time you order. When I do carryout I'll see the place brimming with staff so I don't know why it seems to take so long most of the time. Also, they close several hours in advance of the times stated here on Yelp. The food is fairly good but service is very bad. First of all I ordered a deep dish pizza and instead got a hand tossed one. The customer service is extremely slow. I just tried to call them and had to listen to a lengthy message advertising their food. Then I was put on hold with music. No other pizza company in town has ever done that, ever. I'm not going to lie- I had avoided Domino's for a long time, simply because typically if I'm spending calories on pizza, I want it to be amazing. I got drawn in from seeing the commercials regarding the 2 pizzas for a low price deal... thought hey, why not. I'm glad I did. The pizzas were actually quite tasty, a decent (not a ton, but acceptable) amount of toppings, and more cheese than I expected. I ask for light sauce, and yes... they really don't put much when you do, but I kind of prefer it that way. I have ordered from there about 3 times in the last few months, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The pizzas have been hot, tasty, and cooked well. The stuffed cheesy bread has been amazing as well. I don't think one should come here if you're craving a high quality pizza, as we have lots of better options in town, HOWEVER if you want to feed your family for cheap... this is the place to do it. read more

Sometimes businesses get busy and we lose track of time. We picked up our deep dish pizza ready to eat only to realize our pizza was still doughy and drenched is sauce. Quite easily the worst Dominos chain in the county. I only eat here because I'm a troll sometimes. Every time we order online, we end up waiting for about ten minutes at the store for a pizza that's supposed to be done (according to the online tracker). ALWAYS, after waiting, they grab the ONE pizza that's been sitting on the tray behind them the whole time I'm waiting and go "Here's your pizza." Nothing better than a slightly chilled dominos pizza and luke warm wings with enough sauce to cover one side. Tonight 1/31/20 My daughter and I went in to grab a pizza and it was PACKED!!! the wait time was 1 hour for carry out and the delivery time was 2 hours. Despite being EXTREMELY busy and having quite a few impatient customers in the shop the Manager and Staff performed with extreme professionalism. I can honestly say that I could not keep my cool under that much pressure. Whatever they are paying the Employees just isn't enough. I'm sure this is the norm for a Friday night and they're all probably used to it but the teamwork was very impressive.....we waited for about 40 mins and our pizza was awesome read more
