Double mushroom medium. The mushroom melts all over your mouth at each bite. Must. Try if you're in town

Monday was Pizza night and definitely not Meatless Monday. Hawaiian with Onions and a Pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, Black Olives and Pineapple. Pretty good. In the Atascadero News Magazine March issue, they received BEST PIZZA for North County in SLO County. Good for them!!!

I especially love coming here for happy hour from 4-5 PM and again from 8 PM until close. And if you're lucky enough to get Luis as your server, you're in for an extra-special treat. Wish I could have tried them all, but my aperol spritz was perfect. We had made a reservation ahead of time for our large party (gratuity was included with the check) and were sat outside at the patio on the ground floor. The wait staff was fantastic, friendly, and respectful. Matched up well to the vibe of the place. There is a lot of options for food as well, with different pastas/sauce styles, pizza, and appetizers. We ordered a focaccia appetizer before we were aware that focaccia came free at the table, but no complaints from us!! The bread was delightful and all the dips were good as well. I got the nduja & gamberi pasta which cane with prawns and a red sauce over a pretty good portion of noodles. Demolished that and soaked up the extra sauce with the bread. Yum!! None of us saved room for dessert but the tiramisu looks good in photos. I think this was a fun, one-off thing for me since I live so far away now, but! Tell me how the pizza tastes if you go!!

This is an update regarding an establishment my family used to love visiting. As I mentioned…read morebefore, this was our go-to pizza spot--always clean, welcoming, and enjoyable. Unfortunately, after our last few visits, things have changed significantly. While the employees are generally friendly, customer service and management decisions have become a major disappointment. We were told that this location does not honor coupons or discounts, including promotions advertised through Mountain Mike's website and app. Employees stated that the owners operate independently and have a policy against accepting those deals. Despite the high prices, we decided to stay and order a large pizza and wings at full cost. When the pizza arrived, it was disappointing. It was dry, had very little cheese, and the toppings were sparse and unevenly distributed. It certainly wasn't the quality we've come to expect. The wings were an even bigger issue. After we had already eaten about half of our pizza, I had to ask if our wings were ready. That's when we discovered they had been forgotten entirely, despite an employee assuring us when the pizza was delivered that the wings would be out shortly, after an hour... they never came out and we cancelled the order. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the direction this location has taken. Between refusing advertised discounts, charging premium prices, serving subpar food, and lacking attention to customer service, it's hard to justify returning. Customer service is a skill that needs to be valued and taught. If discounts and specials are advertised, they should be honored. These promotions are meant to help customers, especially during times when prices continue to rise. For now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere until I start hearing more positive reviews. Just a heads-up from a longtime pizza lover of Mountain Mike's.

This location though, good pizza, good salad bar, tons of space, solid arcade/games, great staff. Pizza was a little greasier than I like but it was still very good (we ate two larges with a little help from another teenage boy who snapped the pic). Pepperoni was perfectly crispy, crust was cooked well also. Little too much sauce for my liking and I ordered it with light sauce. Definitely go light if you're not a big sauce person. Salad bar had plenty of good options as well and my wife and I split a salad. Kids played a bit and we hung out and watched a couple of games on TV. They even changed the channel to another show for a customer who wanted to watch something else, pretty cool for them to do that and not interrupt what anyone else was watching. Definitely a sold choice in Atascadero!

She was excited to get into A-Town and wanted to spin by Traffic Records, but first Wild Fields Brewhouse. Located near the theater in what seemed like an under used strip mall, Wild Fields anchors down a large portion of the building. It felt like a German brewhouse, walking into a wine, open room with bar and booth seating, along with picnic tables. Arcade games dotted the far walls and the kitchen located at the end of the bar. Lots of stainless steel behind the roll up door with a list of what's :in the tanks" on thew glass behind the bar. The top list showed 20 beers available with Berliner Weiss listed as a 3.99 beer. Nice touch, and show this 3.99 beer rotates, as I returned a few days later. After finishing reviewing all the breweries in Paso for the SLO Beer Guide, A-Town was next on my list, but hadn't got down there until this visit. Talking to a couple at Cal Coast, they both agreed that Learning to Fly was their favorite IPA, so that was my mission, to check out this beer. That said, we each got a flight of beers to share and was able to sample 8 different beers from Atascadero Beach, 4101, Windswept Fields and Porch Drinkin' to Mouse Rock, Hop Clarity and License to Fill. We also tossed in Three Bridges and Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, Learning to Fly was sold out, so we left with a can as well as Cloudbreak. The beers, flawless. While not every style I faithfully drink, like brown ales or a Marzen, but am experienced enough to know a well crafted beer when I taste one. Three Bridges won gold at WBC and GABF in 2022, as did Atascadero Beach. MY second trip back I sampled their English Brown Ale, Pine Mountain Monolith, which took home gold in 2021 and 2022 from GABF and WBC, repeating that in 2022 at GABF. As was recommended to me, Learning to Fly, the 7% WCIPA was incredible. As I summerized in my beer review, "Wild Fields' first flight and still a defining one. Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra at 7% ABV and 100 IBU -- citrusy, piney, dank, tropical, crushable. The brewery's own mixtape, played from the very beginning. Still sounds good." We didn't sample any food while we were there, but they do have an extensive menu in place. Seems like a fun place to hang out and grab some beer and food. We will be back, thanks for the great beer!

It's super family friendly, and our son loves the toddler play area. Our nieces also love the arcade games, so it's a great spot for kids and families. The beer is the best we've had in Atascadero, especially the west coast-style pale ales and IPAs like Atasca-where-o, Afraid of the Grade, Mouse Rock, and Hop Clarity. The staff has always been great, the indoor/outdoor space is awesome for groups, and having a full kitchen makes it even better. We even hosted a small lead-in gathering there the night before our son's 1st birthday party, and it was perfect. We're excited to keep coming back and becoming regulars.
