    Breakfast Burger
    Genezaret C.

I arrived around noon and couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch. I ordered the Breakfast Burger with hash browns. The brioche bun was soft and lightly toasted. I enjoyed my meal and was so satisfied when I finished. The staff were so kind and friendly, also they offer veterans discounts here! Bathrooms were spic and span. Portions were good for the price. I would return to this cute little family owned restaurant.

We had not been to this restaurant in some time, so decided to try. We were seated in about 5-10 minutes. Had a nice booth. Got coffee and water right away. All the servers/waitstaff were excellent. Our server was Julie, very friendly and did not rush use. Hard to decide what to have, nice large menu. I ended up having a waffle, 2) slices of bacon (a little over done) and fruit. My husband had the Cowboy omelette which has bacon, ham and sausage. He loved it, came with hash browns and his favorite English Muffin. There is an operations fee, which surprised me on the bill. It wasn't much, but I was not told about it. We will be back to try some other items on the menu.

I spent the weekend in Atascadero and wanted to get on the road early Sunday morning to go home. I googled restaurants nearby, open at 6am. Country Touch Cafe came up. It seemed the most convenient, so I went. Ample parking and surprisingly, there were at least 10 people there already. I ordered my go to, an omelette. Then my server, Marina, asked me what kind of toast I wanted. When she said raisin, I thought it sounded great. The homemade raisin toast was so delicious! Who gets excited about toast? I did! The omelette was fluffy and had bacon, avocados and other stuff inside. Very yummy. I'm not sure what this white creamy stuff is on top. It didn't taste bad, but I could have done without it. 10/10, highly recommend.

A wide variety of dishes makes this ideal for any group or individual's appetite. Service is always prompt and courteous. A locals favorite that consistently brings a smile to their customers' faces. If you are in Atascadero...give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on our way up the coast.  We ordered corned beef hash to share, and I ordered scrambled eggs.  My husband orders corned beef hash for breakfast quite often.  He did not like their version of corned beef hash at all.  It was very mushy.  They do have homemade salsa which I put on my scrambled eggs, and it was delicious.  Perhaps we just ordered the wrong item.

Delicious and quick service! I really enjoyed how they had a gluten free option for the pancakes and sweet options. The interior was very clean and nicely decorated. Glad we stopped by.

Country Touch Cafe Review Country Touch Cafe is a delightful spot for breakfast/brunch in atascadero offering hearty portions and satisfying flavors. We tried a veggie omelette, which was decent but didn't quite shine compared to the other dishes. My husband ordered the chilaquiles, and they were absolutely excellent--bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. We also got the blueberry pancakes, which were rich and filling but incredibly delicious. Each dish came with a generous side of fries or potatoes, making for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. The coffee was also pretty delicious. The decor was quirky and the service was quick. All the servers were very helpful.. The portions are great, and the overall experience was very enjoyable.

Came here for breakfast before wine tasting. We were able to get seated immediately. It wasn't too packed but got packed as we ate so it seems very popular. The inside it cute and full of decor like you would see at hobby lobby. Our friends both got chilaquiles, I got the California Benedict, and my hubby got the chicken fried steak. My Benedict was good but my poached eggs were over cooked, the yolk is half the experience lol. But the waitress got my 2 new eggs, she offered a whip new plate but I said the eggs were fine which I think was nice to have the option. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak, it was just thin to what we are used to but had a good flavor. Overall everything was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm.

Not sure if I have reviewed this breakfast joint before BUT it's one of our go to places on Sundays. You will not be disappointed! All of the waitresses are great, but we Julie and Holly. Food is good, vibe is great! You should go check it out!

    Do they allow dogs?

I'm sure they would allow service dogs. To get the exact answer to your question, my suggestion would be to call the restaurant and ask. Their number is probably in the information section of the Yelp page for the restaurant.

This makes total sense knowing that the owners came from San Diego and both worked for PPBC. Being familiar with Wild Fields award-winning brews we settled for the flight and then added some food later. Being a West Coast IPA couple, we were not disappointed with their draft offerings. In addition to IPAs, they have a good representaion of other styles, so there will be something for everyone-as long as they like beer. Wild Fields also puts together a home-brew competion, fuly embracing their community and craft beer roots. The winner gets to brew a batch of their recipe on the house system and this ultra low alcohol, smoked wheat beer was one of the most unique beers I've had. For the food, we had pulled pork and loaded mac-n-cheese. Pulled pork was fine, but I'd prefer more smoke flavor and aroma. For loaded mac, the protein is polish sausage-not something I've seen before. While it somewhat works, I don't think I'd order this again. They also had a ticketed comedy show, which we stayed for after the official closing time on a Saturday. It was fun and totally worth it. With their strong local connections and family atmosphere, Wild Fields in Atascadero is worth the detour from SLO and Paso destinations, especially for families.

I brought my two little grandsons on with me after school let out. First I was prepared because I lived in Atas 28 years and I knew the problem this location has with the middle school and high school kids hanging out here after school. They drive away customers and take up all the seating. Today it was raining in a freak May 28 storm so all the teens were inside. Worst case scenario and it's already normally bad. They even stand in the door and block you from entering as they are talking to another one walking by. I just made my way up the door and pushed forward not intending to be deterred. Inside the teens were taking up fully at least 3 tables for 4 people, mostly boys and there was an old couple in the corner trying to eat a meal that looked very uncomfortable. The teens, none of them had food ordered or on the table. All they do is buy soda or take it as they knew the cashier young girl. I wonder if they even pay for it. I saw her hand them cups I've seen other reviews with people complaining like me about the place being overrun with non paying customers. They will stand in the way too and block the drink machines, door access or whatever. They also have no manners and will not move or say excuse me or anything. All tough guys. lol. I had to kinda push my way through to get to the register. I told my little grandsons to quickly sit down at the only empty table and wait for me while I ordered to go. The girl at the counter was sweet and helpful which was a relief. Note: They give you a discount if you pay with cash. Our order cane up pretty quick because we were the only paying customers left since the old couple already had their food. The place was 100% full with squatters taking all the tables and management needs to step up and post signs. If not dining please move along and afk them to get out of the chairs and leave. !!!!!!! When weather is nice outside even more hoards are out there and it's difficult for families or couples to enjoy a meal. We got home with the food for our 9 year olds birthday dinner and the fries were soggy greasy. I even put them in my big air fry oven to warm and crisp them but they remained soggy. The onion rings were crispy. The 3 large tri tip salads were pretty good but I can only eat lean tri tip. Most of it was not edible for me. The boys liked their kids burgers. Dan had the 1/3 lb bacon burger with cheddar and he liked it. Anyway this restaurant would greatly increase their profit and be a comfortable place if they stepped up and saved tables for paying guests who order food. Isn't that the point of a restaurant?

Based on past errors from the female waiters I knew what I needed to specifically ask for. As usual they were understaffed. I feel so bad for the staff here. Management shorts staffing to boost profits. It makes dining here stressful and definitely not a relaxed dining experience. Staff other best but they almost literally have to run to keep up with demand Usually there's no busboy either or maybe 1 for inside and out. Dishes always pile up More bad. Don't ever order the prime rib if it's not Saturday. We think my daughter's was cooked on Saturday, served at full price on Sunday but leftovers and was dry and tough. It's costly too. She discovers it back this time as she didn't want to wait another hour for something else. The salads are usually great but this evening they were half salads. Like they ran short and skimped on each one. Onion rings are always good. I dip mine in their salsa. Others catsup or ranch. The ribs were not good -- 2 full racks. The meat was very tough like eating dry pork chops not tender and good. My friend happened to be having her husband's 75th birthday party there toward the end of our meal they showed up. An extra table for about 12 had been added on the grass area at the end of outside the patio. With folding metal chairs. They did NOT staff for the extra seating and my friend texted me after we left that they waited a full HOUR to even get waters!! This is not acceptable.
