However, after well over an hour, my name remained "next in line" on the screen with no updates or explanation. When I finally approached one of the two staff members working, I was met with rudeness and indifference. I was told, "We really don't know, there are only two of us here." When I asked if they could at least confirm whether my insurance was accepted--since I'm new to this lab--they couldn't even check. This is not acceptable patient care. There was no communication, no sense of responsibility, and no basic customer service. If a lab cannot manage patient flow, provide information, or treat people respectfully, it should not be operating. Like for real, some of this stuff still required floppy disks. Also have photos of the "lab" so hope you can see what they really have to offer. Aka nothing. My co-workers were great but the b will literally belittle you, curse you out, and only cares about profit, which is why he buys cheap everything. Oh! They also use a bunch of expired stuff too so yeah don't trust them. Bunch of other stuff I find ridiculous too was how he wanted to run the lab and disregard safety (and also how little he knew even tho he's a quote on quote "dr"). He wanted to buy cheaper wooden husky desks WITH WHEELS and not real counter tops. This is an issue for 1 of 2 reasons. 1.) it's an unstable surface regardless if wheels are locked. If you're working with hazardous materials you need a stable surface, duh. 2.) WOOD IS NOT GOOD IN THE LAB!!!! The wood will suck up these hazardous materials and expose you to them overtime! This is extremely dangerous and careless. Other things I noticed while working there is basic laboratory safety isn't followed. Women will wear high heels, wear makeup, and not have their hair tied back and men will wear shorts. Goggles and gloves seem to also be an option too and not a requirement. Also when working with COVID they don't even use their bio safety cabinet and just work on the metal bench next to the fridge. I quite literally watched them test out there new COVID test kits there and watching this guy test it out had me bugging the way he was doing it. To put it simply it was not a sterile environment. But all I really have to say is this company is truly all profit and not for the people. Their other aliases are "hermosure" & "ads drug test" both found in Irwindale, ca. I went into an office with the owner and filled out some paperwork. The vibe was not professional nor was he very informative of the process. He asked me about my concerns and I out my hand on a devise for 5 seconds and that was it he said I would have my results in 7-10 days, and owe him $300. I gave him my card and he didn't have a credit card reader and asked if he could take a pic of my card which is very unprofessional. After a month no results I've contacted him several times and gotten three excuses and nothing. I did not believe the business is still in business or running ethically. Walk away!

And still, nothing.  I emailed again to request a full refund. We will take our business elsewhere because of the lack of response, the lack of customer service, and the lack of results. Quest's New Format is Convenient and Efficient…read more Blood tests are a necessary routine for many. In the past, Quest locations reminded me of the DMV or jury duty. All of humanity were jammed with their germs and all into a crowded waiting room filled with crying kids and coughing. Quest has improved their operations leaps and bounds. Patients now check in at a touch screen, the wait is short. Minimal chairs are set up, patients have the option to wait in their car. I have tested two locations now (Santa Ana/Orange and now Loma Linda) I have been in a few times for tests and overall had a great experience. My phlebotomist today was excellent, friendly, professional and gave me a pain free blood drawing. It was one of the easiest blood draws I have had out of hundreds. Thank you Quest for the Business Process Improvements. Also thank you to my Phlebotomist today for being a highly skilled professional and kind person.

I really enjoyed my visit, which is a rarity. I had my book in had because I was prepared to be there for hours. My appointment was at 3 and I was done at 3:45. I also like the fact that they enforced mask wearing, if you don't have one with you they sale them for $1. *side note I used Waze to get here and it told me to turn on Hunts Lane and led me to the back of the parking lot, to the hall of records and told me I was there! We have to follow up in a month because even though I mentioned he had Autism, they only booked him with her and for 30min but he needs an additional person and an 1hr visit. That part is a little upsetting but on a positive note, it gives us some time to try to prepare him better. The quality of care Erica gave was amazing. Thank you for showing my little one patience.

Patients already have enough stress dealing with appointments, treatments, and long wait times without having to circle the parking lot looking for a spot. The valet service is not much of a solution either. My experience with valet was disappointing, and it did not improve the situation. Both the front and back parking areas are consistently overcrowded and poorly managed. Kaiser is a major healthcare provider, and its facilities should have adequate parking for both patients and employees. The current situation is frustrating, inconvenient, and unfair to everyone who uses the facility. This is an issue that deserves immediate attention and improvement.
