This place is a 10/10 everything's done right. Flavorful, fresh, homemade, perfectly cooked dishes! Highlights: crab Rangoon-love when they out the little bits of carrot. Pork dumplings-so crispy and topped with fried garlic. Crisp Papaya salad, super fresh & tasty. We also got the Tom yum, dumpling soup & beef pad Thai, amazing! The restaurant is clean and cute. Portions are small. They changed the containers to be way smaller. At least 1/3of the food is no more sadly will not return .

The food was outstanding. We got the pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. There's a wide selection to choose from and heat range available. Our meals were very mild and I did not sweat! (Just as we asked for). The waitress was courteous and checked on us although not too frequently (as we were the only ones there)- a good thing. Our food was prepared fresh and the decor and music made you feel like you were in Thailand. We will definitely return anytime we are in town again! We have enough for 3 meals each!! read more

Ordered the basil fried rice and the pineapple fried rice. Rice was over cooked and mushy. Cashews weren't cooked at all. Asked for two stars and there was no spice level. Not like a little hot, not spicy at all like somebody forgot to add it. Crab rangoons were fantastic. Others stuff might be great and this may have been an off night but this experience was not good. I would add the the prices are a little higher than what I would normally expect to pay but I was willing to take a chance that food was worth it. It wasn't. Staff is friendly enough. read more

We had our first visit here today for lunch. We both had the drunken noodles with spring roll and crab rangoon lunch special for $9. My previous favorite for this dish was Mekhong Thai in Wells. They are both very similar in excellence, but the lunch special quantity and value is better here. Good service is also becoming rare, but our server Emily was great. She handled the dining room with ease and provided better service than most of the high-end restaurants in the area. read more

This is my favorite place to order delivery! The food is always so fresh and cooked perfectly. Plus the heat scale makes each dish customizable to your heat flavor. My kids like it at a 1 or two and my husband is a 4! So glad they deliver makes for the perfect meal on during a busy week. read more

Wow, this is my new favorite Thai restaurant. I have had lunch and dinner here several times and each time I am impressed by the hospitality and food. I have had the spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and the crispy pad thai with tofu. Each dish was wonderful! The staff here are exceptional. Especially my server Emily. We usually love getting food here but the last 2 times have not been great. We order the appetizer sampler and both times some of it is so burnt that it's inedible. The last time was not burnt as bad and you could eat it with the sauces. This time it was burnt a lot more and they forgot the sauces. Also the heat levels are very inconsistent. We always get a heat level of number 2. Both times my dish has zero spice and my husbands is very very spicy. Sadly We will be looking for a new Thai restaurant. read more

TAKE OUT REVIEW: If you know anything about Maine, if you live in the sticks like my parents do your delivery options are (subway) slim to none. So you can get what I mean when I say it was an earlier Easter blessing to find out that we had a new option and even better it was Thai. The chicken satay, Thai spring rolls and peanut sauce were perfect; spring rolls crispy, peanut sauce creamy, and chicken satay oh so juicy. The Thai noodle soup which was pretty much Pho was pretty good a little mild in flavor though. The masaman curry was also pretty good, the curry was a little on the thinner in consistency texture. Overall I will definitely be ordering from here again. read more

Usually the food is very good but last night. The lo mein was absolutely terrible. It was all starchy and tasted what my girlfriend thought was fish. I don't know if a fish was cooked before they made it or what happened but we threw it away. It was that bad. I sent them an email and got no response. Very disappointing. Where do I start? This is a jewel of a family and food experience in a town that needs them. I'd like to say I've had plenty of Thai food, whether that gives me a valid perspective or not is irrelevant. The food served here is fantastic. Every dish is vibrant with flavor, to be fair I've only ever eaten here in the evening, maybe it's the folks at that time knocking it out of the park. Vegetables are always cooked perfectly, with snap and flavor. For a town with heaps of processed and preserved food, the quality of ingredients here is a breath of fresh air. Seasoned to perfection. Their method and style of cooking tofu is some of, if not the best I've had. The real gem here, which by all means doesn't shadow the quality of the meals here, are the people. From what I've gathered this is almost entirely a family run restaurant. I have a special place in my heart for people like them; hard workers, pouring their heart and soul into their business, and you can feel it. Smiling faces from the owners at all times, and you know they work tirelessly to support themselves. These people and this business deserve success and good fortune. We loved Thai Suwasdee and just discovered that they are back under a new name! You can't order the wrong thing here, everything is fresh and made with so much love. They do not play around with the spice, if you choose a 5 they will definitely bring the heat without sacrificing flavor. Also, the owners are the loveliest people. Today I called them up to find out if they have a spicy soup at lunch to help clear my head cold, they not only made me the spiciest, ginger-iest wonton soup I've ever had, but also recommended other items like their ginger tea that might help me feel better. Went today Sunday with a friend for our first time. On line said opened at 4:30 but signage says 4:00. When I brought that to waitress attention, she could have cared less. This waitress, only one, definitely had an attitude. We were the only two seated and we were the only two at end of dinner. Waitress promptly brought us cold hot tea and when I asked for hot, here came the attitude. From the time we ordered, took 45 min to get food and were were still only two. Waitress was more concerned with takeout orders which people got promptly. She brought my meal out first (single dish), and then 3 minutes later brought my friends out of the kitchen. All in all, the food was decent but my appetizer of scallion pancakes were not pancakes. Deep fried wedges of fried dough with a "few" pieces of scallions on top for $6. Not what I am use to. My meat combo stir fry with brown rice was decent. If you want fast service, do take out. If there had been people in there when we got there, would probably be STILL waiting for our food. Very happy to see the return of Mee-D Thai. Food has never been disappointing. I am a true fan of authentic cuisine and this place offers just that. The family who runs this restaurant are extremely nice and genuinely enjoy serving their customers. I've done take out all but once, and the one time I did dine in, it did take a while to get our food, but it did not take away from the experience whatsoever. What the heck is is with the shrimp spring rolls? You literally divided one shrimp into every piece of the roll. I feel cheated. Extra money for shrimp? Save your money and go somewhere else. Heaven on a Earth! I went to Mee D Thai yesterday after work to pickup dinner to take home. Boy, was I glad I did. The location is a little hard to find since it can't be seen from 109, but once you locate it in the shopping center you will remember it. The reason is that the ambiance, food and waitstaff are all outstanding. For appetizers we ordered Thai Dumplings and Mekhong Dumplings and then for dinner Pad Thai, Hot Basil Leaves, Drunken Noodles and Thai Fried Rice. Of course we had to have Mangos with Sticky Rice for dessert. Even though it took 40 minutes to get home, the food was still hot and so "ARROY" (delicious). We stuffed ourselves at dinner (again) but still had so much food remaining that we ate some for breakfast and still have several meals left. We're so happy that Wee and Dee were able to turn a tragic event (Sawasdee Thai fire) into a wonderful new adventure with Mee D Thai. When you can, go and enjoy a great experience of Thai dining at Mee D Thai. You'll be glad you did. read more

This is our go-to date night takeout and has been since the owners had their first radiant in town. How sad were we to think our favorite spot was gone?!? Needless to say they've come back with a new name and the same sweet people. Hint: get the Thai iced tea to go with your takeout. You'll thank us later. Lad nar, drunken noodles, chicken wings, tom yom soup, Thai noodle soup, spring rolls... you name it, we've had it. Nothing has disappointed though id so the online ordering as it has never worked for us. We have the same gentleman that comes every time for delivery and he's the sweetest person on the face of the earth, I'm convinced. We tip well and we are always taken care of. You couldn't ask for a more trustworthy family with delicious food to rely on. read more
