This place is definitely one of my favorite brunch spots in the area. The banana foster and the churro French toast are amazing and so is the chorizo me crazy! My favorite! Down side to this place is the wait time. Which is the reason for my four stars and not five. Went to the one in Wall a few months ago it was great. On 3-Feb, went to the new location in Brick. Well I will NOT be back. Food was good it was everything else. We(3) sat at the counter. The waitress kept touching her hair then coffe cups, juice glasses. My daughter ordered a drink with toasted marshmallows on top. They make the drink and then use a kitchen torch to toast the marshmallows . I'm the process one marshmallow ignited, so the waitress blew it out then served the drink to my daughter -REALLY! We witnessed the same thing done buy another waitress as well -GROSS. While we sat there, It appeared there was an issue with their cold brew coffee, weak tasting as staff was testing it. To make it better, an individual who appeared to be the manager poured regular coffee into the jug that was suppose to be cold brew. Borders on falsification- as regular brewed coffee is not cold brew oh and by the way they charge more for cold brew. The establishment offers many different syrup flavorings for coffees and while eating we watched the same girl that blew the marshmallow out use her teeth to remove the wrapper on the bottle. If this is what goes on in plain site, imagine what goes on in the back where you can't see. In short if I were the health inspector, I would have closed them on the spot. I love this place! I come here all the time because I'm gluten-free and they have a lot of options. The food is always good, comes out fast, the staff are friendly. I came here last week with my father and after we ordered the food was out in 10 minutes which is amazing. I love that they can make so many of their menu item French toasts gluten free with just a few adjustments. I can tell they're careful in the kitchen with the gluten, because I've never had an allergic reaction here before. Highly recommend! read more

Was looking forward to trying this place it was highly recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, sad to say, it let us all down. Our friends arrived an hour before we did and they only got their food 5 minutes before we arrived there. They also got one of our friends orders wrong. It actually worked out for us because although we were tardy to our brunch meeting the fact that they took that long to delivery the food and get their order right allowed us enough time to meet our friends and eat our brunches all together. I ordered the snickerdoodle French toast and I gotta say, I was a little let down. Usually French toast has to be done with super soft bread and this bread had a hard crust that took away all the whimsical flavor and texture from French toast... I mean c''mon French touch you gotta select very soft bread like brioche or challah... tsk tsk... cannot recommend. This was my second or 3rd time here. My first time was the Wall location and all I remember is loving something with the Mac and cheese and had like blue cheese crumble on top I believe. I don't think I've seen it since (years ago). The other day I had the jalapeño popper panini with spuds from brick location. It was ok. I would say not worth the $$. The panini was decent but I wouldn't get it again. The spuds I assume are fried and looks like they grabbed a handful that was stuck together and threw in the fryer, once I separated them after being cooked there was some that were not even cooked. Most of the other ones that were cooked were soaked in grease/oil and I couldn't justify putting that in my body cause they weren't that good anyway. Maybe if they were crispy but only a few were. The breakfast food looks good but haven't tried them yet. read more

The second time that same panini tasted totally different from the first time AND my side item was not what I ordered, AND there was no balsamic dressing on the side like the first time. Might be suffering from the grand opening problems but, it is lacking in the refinement and class and taste of the one in wall. Hostesses seemed confused on seating, waiters and waitresses seemed liked they didn't get the proper training of were maybe overwhelmed. All of this understandable but, the worst part was that the food was was no where near as good as the one in wall which is upsetting since the brick one is much closer for me I honestly, hope all of this can be blamed on the fact that it was a hectic and possibly overwhelming opening and they'll get on it soon because this chain has some great food. It was our first time at Meemom's restaurant. We really loved fresh design and modern decor. So sick and tired of local places that do not want to invest money or simply can't invest money in their business. Especially I do not like small shops that can't provide good quality fresh food. Restaurant business is hard, the strongest will survive. Everyone should be on point with decor, cleanliness freshness and quality of their food.Customers always notice freshness and quality. I think this place has a great potential to do great! Menu looked fun for adults and kids! We stopped by on Wednesday at around 2pm. First of all I enjoyed all kinds of coffee selections on the menu, I ordered Samoa over ice. It was amazing! Fresh squeezed orange juice is a great option on the menu. We ordered a couple of those. It was pretty good. We decide to try a couple of different option, such as french toast with Captain Crunch, Fruffle and breakfast chorizo with eggs over toast. All of them were on point. It was a breath of fresh air to enjoy a good quality breakfast food in a modern looking restaurant. After having great breakfast/lunch all our family was happy and felt good, not heavy at all . We even skipped dinner that is how full we were. I think portions are just right, price is very fair. The only thing that I did not give 5 Stars was for cleanliness, there was some mess on the floor. Especially the big turn off was for silverware. It was dirty and spotty. I had to scrape some food or soap leftovers from it. I did not ask for a fresh one because they were all not polished, it was no point. I do want this place to succeed and all these little details matter. Looking at beautiful modern place , good food and dirty silverware is a turnoff. Please make sure it is clean and polished before rolling it in a paper napkin. It does not take that much time. Because every time when we do not see cleanliness in a place or employees we cannot be sure in a cleanliness of the kitchen where food is prepared and especially freshness and quality of food. We usually take it very seriously after working in customer service business for years and traveling all over the world especially Europe. We simply stop coming even though food tastes good. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, it is extremely important in customer service. Unfortunately it is getting worse and worse nowadays in a lot of places. The food is delicious! There fancy coffee drinks are amazing! The staff is all young and there is a hipster kind of vibe which is cool. We had the waiter Tyler who was fantastic! He was very helpful and honest. He also checked on us often to make sure we were good which is always great. Sometimes they have a bit of a wait but well worth it! 2/29/20-Update- ate here again yesterday afternoon with a friend. I REALLY want to keep coming here because I do enjoy the food, but the service is just so eh. While the waitress was nice, when we asked for things, it took 15-20 mins to get them. My friend asked for ketchup for her son and after 15 mins went by, we had to ask someone else. I asked for an orange juice, 20 mins had gone by and I had forgotten about it when she brought it. Please work on the service! First impression is that the place is hella tiny. There are maybe 20-25 tables at the most which makes wait times long. But if you put your number on the list you can go next door and shop while you wait, which is what we did. When we finally were seated, it was in the back next to the kitchen. It was extremely warm too, and it was an unseasonably warm day yesterday so there was no need to have the heat pumping. I'noticed the place wasn't overly clean. They seemed too busy to keep up even though there were a lot of employees. Waitress came over quickly, however, that was the best she was the entire time. My friend ordered a hot chocolate and I had the cold brew coffee. We also asked for water which we didn't actually get until the end of the meal. Drinks took close to 15 minutes to come out. My cold brew was good but she dropped it on the table and then never brought me any milk because she forgot. I received it 15 minutes later. I also hate how these places never have regular sugar. You either get Splenda, Equal or that stupid sugar in the raw. I don't like any of those. Give me some regular granulated white sugar. I had the pico de huevos which was eggs over easy on top of cornbread with chorizo, pico, avocado (like 3 brown slices) and some spicy sauce. It's served with home made chips. It was very good, I have to say. The chips were a little too seasoned though but still good. My friend had a Belgian waffle topped with peaches, which said said were just canned and she didn't care for, and a side of veggie hash with chick peas and onions. She said overall it was good. The check came to $32, which wasn't bad. I'd say I like it better then Turning Point, which is over priced. I think I will go back because they had a good selection of stuff on the menu, they just need to work on the service. read more

But I don't understand substandard food. We both ordered french toast- mine was bananas foster, hers churros. Hers did not resemble churros in flavoring! Both were dried out, stiff like cardboard. We were lucky though, because we got real silverware. They had run out and gave other people plastic! The bacon that I ordered, figuring and asking that they could bring that first.... This is the story of The Challah Bread fiasco. Now I'm not normally one to share a bad review because I would never want to judge someone or a business for a snapshot in time- we're all human. However.... This morning I ordered the 'Country Lunch' special from the Meemom's in Brick. This includes a grande grilled cheese on challah bread and a cup of tomato soup. I've eaten at this place once pre covid and ordered this exact meal. I remember the challah... I'll always remember the iconic look of Challah bread. No imposters will fool this trained eye. We picked up our order, made it home, and realized that they accidentally placed the grilled cheese on regular bread. I could explain I had a challah bread craving or I could simply say I wanted what I paid for. I never correct an order, I usually just deal with it but I truly was craving challah... so I decided to give a quick call and ask if they had the challah bread and if they wouldn't mind possibly remaking the sandwich. The hostess was nice and said sure thing. My hopes had already gotten too high for the downfall that awaited... We are driving BACK to get the order when the general manager calls again. She says that it is I who has messed up, which is odd because I didn't accuse anyone of messing up. She says that I customized my sandwich and I chose to swap the bread. That I chose to miss out on the fluffy deliciousness of challah bread?! Even though when placing the order, I was sure I didn't customize anything, I apologized anyway and said 'oh I'm sorry, I didn't see a drop down customize option and if that was selected it was purely accident' a long silence occurs... the manager speaks with the waitress and I over hear some complaints about my big mishap. I say 'if you need to ring me up for a sandwich that's fine, I'm honestly just craving challah' because hey- I don't want to stress anyone out at their job. And I'm literally 5 minutes away. More silence. A big sigh 'yeah... you can come get it.' Yikes, I didn't mean to upset anyone over a grilled cheese. So we get there and we wait. We show the ones that questioned 'my mishap' the online menu. We discover that there is no customizable option for the bread on this sandwich. Other menu items are customizable but this country lunch stays true to its roots and allows for no change. Someone comes out with the sandwhich and I thought 'great! I don't have to face the manager because she seemed so pissed at me' but then I also had hoped to see her because what manager calls a customer back to conduct a full investigation over a bread mishap after they are already on their way back to the establishment. The stakes for this challah bread have significantly risen at this moment. We drive home. VICTORY and deliciousness await... We carefully carry the box into our home. The anticipation is as if this styrofoam box transformed into my final briefcase on deal or no deal. We open the case... I've lost the million dollars. The discovery is that the grilled cheese is in fact... still not on Challah bread. Maybe they didn't have it? Maybe this was a 'fuck you' ? Maybe this was a well timed accident? I don't know. But if you are expecting to receive Challah bread from this place, just know, a looonngggg journey awaits you. How does this story end? No closure. No challah. Now I'm waiting for my Turning Point order to be ready and with that I say, good luck! read more

Had the RUDEST hostess today! She came to the front and started yelling at us that we had to wait outside that too many people were in the waiting area... five of us. It's the way she spoke to us that was so uncalled for. A pleasant attitude would have dispelled the situation! Two handicapped couples were waiting, NOT a roomful of people. We had heard people talk about Meemom's breakfast/French Toast and we wanted to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The decorations and atmosphere are light and friendly. The service staff was courteous and attentive. The family ordered different types of French Toast-they loved all of them. I had the egg white omelette, it was light, fluffy and delicious. After hearing good things about Meemom's from my family members, I had to go give it a try. Meemom's was very clean and had a nice scenery. They also had walls blocking in between booths for social distance purposes with I greatly appreciate. From this perspective I knew I would be in for a great experience! So before I dig into the food, I have to give some credit to my waitress. She was hardworking and nice. She was all over the restaurant, in and out of the kitchen serving food, and taking multiple orders. She was delightful! Now for the food...sweet and savory! I ordered the peanut butter whole wheat pancakes and it fit its description perfectly. Three stacks of delicious whole wheat pancakes topped with a fresh banana, honey drizzle, powdered sugar, a good amount of peanut butter and some syrup on the side. This was an outstanding filling portion of pancakes that just blew me away! Also the vanilla chai latte was so enjoyable! The only downside of my visit and the reason why I only give it 4/5 stars is because of the wait. I waited about 25-30 minutes for my food, which was a little unfortunate. But to be honest, it was worth it because the food was pretty good and our waitress was in control of almost everything. But what took me by suprise was that a few minutes before I was served, two people were seated by us and when I left, they got their food. That just didn't add up and made me a little confused. Awesome belated Galentines breakfast date. Cold brew was smooth and flavorful, and the iced chai was addictive. I got the churro gluten free French toast with a side of fresh strawberries, good combo. The tart of the strawberry cut the sweetness of everything else. Very delicious. My friend agreed with me. She got the gluten free chocolate covered strawberry and she said it was very good. Potatoes were okay, she liked them, i wasn't the biggest fan but they were good.
