When we arrived we waited to be seated restaurant 1/4 full we are seated in the very last booth in the place staring at the overflowing garbage can in the kitchen. I ask if we can move and waitress stomps off doesn't wait for us and throws our utensils on the table. Honestly I would have left at this point but it was my father's birthday. The wait was long 40-45 minutes for a party of two on a Sunday , regardless we still waited since it was the first time there. While waiting the host announced there is a bar which is first come first serve. We decided to get off the waitlist and sit at the bar. Bar was clean with 6 seats. The food was not bad. Very nice sever. The kitchen couldn't time anything right which resulted in us having 2 people without their food for 11 mins. The place is cute and clean. I really like the overall concept. The hostess pushes a political agenda which I find frustrating when I go out to eat. Maybe consider someone less political at the Front. Normally, I don't make yelp reviews whether good or bad experience. Today, I went to meemoms with my mom, and I've been here two other times before. Very good both times! Today my mom got a veggie omelette, and when she was eating it there was meat in it. My mom doesn't eat certain meats. We addressed the server, and she pretty much ignored the situation. She did nothing to rectify the situation, not even bring over a manager. I have been a server, and if that happened to a guest of mine I would've either taken it off the check, gave a small discount, or brought a manager out to talk to the table. read more

They waste huge tables on tables of two due to their process of seating on a first come first served basis. There is no way to accurately estimate the wait. Our 45-70 min. Wait turned into a 1.5 hour wait. They need to rethink the process. Turning Point is right down the road and does a much better job of estimating waits and turning over their tables. Meemoms is great. I love going to this place and leaving full of joy and with a full stomach. However, this is not Meemoms of Wall Township. We waited roughly thirty minutes (Which is to be expected for such great food) to sit down, just to wait fifteen more minutes for someone to notice we were there. Once we order, again a fifteen minute wait for our drinks, we were served dirty glasses for water and coffee. I literally had hair stuck to the rim of my mug. When I FINALLY got the attention of probably a bus boy (many employees were walking around but not serving any tables) they agreed that was disgusting and took it from me to give a new mug. I received the same mug but with new coffee. The food finally gets here. I get my order, the person to my right gets her order, asks for ketchup for her fries, the person in front of me gets his order and half of the last person's order. Five minutes goes by before the last order arrives. I couldn't eat because the cutlery was dirty. I didn't eat but my friends continued to enjoy their food. Not once did our waitress check on us to AT THE VERY LEAST refill our coffee or water. We are nearing the end of our meals, the ketchup arrives. Heard so many good things but I was not impressed. Ordered typical egg potato toast breakfast. Potatoes were not the typical breakfast type they were thinly sliced whole length and possibly deep fried. Didn't go with eggs and were hard to eat. Eggs were lukewarm. Toast was the best part of my meal. Waitress said they're known for their French toast so I ordered one slice to try.. was not told it would be served with cinnamon and fruit so it was not what I was hoping for. This is a massive failure on the way they run their business Their "manager" has a rude attitude with an apparent lack of understanding for the food business. Their food quality (on delivery) is beyond a disappointment. They approach (deliveries) with a "we don't care about your order because we are too busy" they don't care if you didn't get your order. Making excuses. They send food in "vented/ foam" cheap containers but they are "too busy" to open vent caps on entire meals thus ensuring your food is soggy borderline dog food because they are either too lazy, don't care, or again too busy. Shut down your delivery service because you obviously don't understand how to produce quality food on this level. Came here for breakfast, I expected much better in both food and service. I tried one of the specialty omelettes which came out overcooked, my wife had the French toast , better option. The table we were seated at was not clean and there was used silverware on the floor under the table The coffee was good. The service was very slow and the staff gathered socially rather than attending to the tables. It's sad to say that I will not be going back to this place again and not because of the food but because of the hostess. Today Saturday 2/6 I've encountered such a rude hostess and honestly she should be replaced. My husband and I along with our daughter went to have breakfast as we've been here numerous times. The hostess told us 30 minutes, ok not a problem. After about 45 minutes I go back in and she makes me aware that it's going to be another 15-20 minutes, ummm ok but why didn't you just say an hour wait??? I proceed to wait until it reaches another 15 minutes and my husband goes back in and she says 10 more minutes at this point I'm done, we're hungry and my little girl is aggravated. We leave and go somewhere else and are seated automatically and suddenly I get a phone all stating my table is ready. Wow! 1hr 15minutes. I let her know we left because the wait was too long and we kept getting told different times. She then proceeds to say whatever and hang up!!! That's the staff you have working there?? Head back inside after 25 min (because there's no such thing as social distancing inside and the waiting area, they allow people to wait on top of each other) and ask the host how much longer because it's been 25 min & she told me there was still 3 people ahead of us. Decided to pick up some brunch here with my cousin. We ordered order the phone and picked up our food shortly after. Once we arrived home and opened our food to eat we noticed some things were missing. For starters, I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with no pico de Gallo. While they got the no pico part right they also left out the chorizo that was supposed to be inside the quesadilla. My cousin ordered the Mediterranean chicken salad wrap and when she opened her order she noticed it wasn't the correct wrap, it was the humus wrap. We called the store back and let them know that parts of our order were wrong the manager apologized for the inconvenience and offered us two options a gift card for the amount of our entrees or for our meals to be replaced. We decided to take the gift card since we live about 20 mins away. While a gift card is a nice compensation it would be more convenient if we could have just had the amount refunded to our credit card. While parts of our order was wrong the parts that were right were pretty good. The French cakes were amazing and tasted just like a funnel cake hot off the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and attentive so although our order had a few mistakes we wouldn't be opposed to giving them another try! read more

There was nobody in front of us at the check in, but it still took someone to actually come to the front about 10 minutes. They seated us immediately. The place was empty. It took another 10 minutes before a waitress came over. The place was stark, to say the least. I know it's COVID and things are different, but it was cold, and I don't just mean the temperature! The seats and tables that were not being used were dusty, I mean literally write your name in them, dusty. Kinda gross. They were not busy, but I couldn't find anyone to give sugar for the tea, or a fill up on the water. The food took forever, and it was only grilled cheese! The waitress asked us what side we wanted, but neglected to tell us there was an extra charge. On a good note, the food was hot. My friend and I both had grilled cheese, her bread was super thick, and mine was thin! We couldn't figure it out! This was our first time here, we would not go back. The service was horrendous. The staff was very polite, but lacking in "service". Never coming back to fill up water, or anything else. Used the online ordering to get breakfast for the family today. When we walked in our food was ready but our drink was not. We sat in the restaurant for over ten minutes as multiple workers asked what we needed. Our drink wasn't made until we complained. Workers were rude to each other, complaining about customers that were sitting right outside as we waited, and cursing loudly. Very catty atmosphere and was torturous sitting there listening. Not all of them acted like this but the majority did. Workers also were serving customers inside without their masks covering there face and even preparing drinks like that. When we got our drink it hadn't even been mixed and all the stuff was stuck at the bottom. When we asked for the manager she was no where to be found. Drink was fixed and it was explained to us that sometimes it needs to be mixed up (which seems ridiculous it's a chai it should be mixed when I get it). Drink was eventually fixed. With the whole covid pandemic I understand that business are struggling to conform to the new rules but this was gross and uncomfortable. This experience will definitely make me second guess in choosing this location in the future. It's a bummer that to get good Meemom's service you have to go all the way to Wall. read more

We went to Meemoms we waited 20 minutes.Only to find out they had only two waiters all the tables could not be filled. When they came to seat us the busboy spilled milk accidentally all over the table and floor. Than he proceeded to dump a pitcher of water on it so the table is now dripping wet.
