How is this business handling the re-opening? What safety measures are they taking? Are they offering indoor or outdoor dining or both? Any heaters for outdoor dining?

Our tea shop is currently closed for renovation. We will reopen on 07/24/2021. We will have indoor dinning and for closing time please check our business hours.

Do they offer Splenda as a sweetener alternative?

Not that I know, but we can always ask them to reduce the level of sugar use...that's what I always do.

This place has a great customer services and a great place to hang out with friends. The food is good?

It's far from average as far as taste goes and if you know what to order. Order any of the yogurt snow bubbles, they have mango, strawberry, or kiwi. Guaranteed addiction if you like yogurt. Service is also on point. For food, get the cold noodle.

I noticed that the employees were very touchy with each other. I was especially uncomfortable as the guy looked much older than the girl (He looked mid to late 30s while she looked like she was still in high school). It was hard to ignore as when they had the opportunity they sat at the booth ahead of me. He began to use his arm to pin her against the wall whisper things into her ear. Amongst other instances of intimacy it was extremely uncomfortable to be around. Looking past age (as it is possible for that she isn't a minor and she just looks young) it is still very unprofessional for there to be that amount of PDA in a work environment as other customers began to notice. I hate to write bad reviews anywhere, however this is unacceptable and can only hope this doesn't continue. read more

As a business, there was nothing extremely wrong with the food, service, or atmosphere, but they were all unsatisfactory. Everything was simply below average. I was about disappointed in the passion fruit tea, which I ordered with boba. The flavor was dull at there was barley any boba. As for the food, my two friends and I ordered the fries and popcorn chicken both of which were showered in an abundance of salt and drenched in oil. In addition, the service was almost non-existent, and never saw the server other than when she delivered the food. It was like drinking liquid candy, and the excessive sweetness completely overpowered any other flavors. I couldn't even finish it. This is the go-to place for me whenever I am craving for drinks. The vibe inside the store are warm and welcome. The quality and the variety of the drink are astonishing, and it is tasty. There is this chinese b* with pale face kicked me out twice already and today she asked my boyfriend if he even paid last time he was here which was weeks ago. Here might be my favorite spot to chill around either by myself or with fds. Not only they have a lots of power outlets for charging and they also have comfy both. It has TOP DRINKS menu that r very unique and u gotta try the potted plant milk tea when u get here. That's my favorite thing. He said it tasted ok and that he was just so thirsty he didn't care about the taste at that point... WINTERMELON GREEN TEA: 7/10 I like the sweetness but, it was a bit different from a usual winner melon tea. It tasted almost like a sugar cane drink. I took 4 sips and had to run to the restroom. Parking - Free in a huge shared parking lot. Usually not too hard to impress as a tea shop but through my plentiful of visits, I've always left a disappointed. They always have only one staff member working. While nothing bad about the staff as I understand that they're working as fast as they can, I cannot fathom sometimes various staff would not call out orders that are ready and would take over 30-40 minutes just to get one order out. While that was a one time experience, my next experience was very similar. Orders did take just as long to come out, once again, one staff member only. Lights were also turned off, no AC on a hot day, and restrooms were practically unusable. The doors wouldn't fully close and the toilets were dirty as well. Not a great look overall. The only saving grace I'd say are the spacious tables and their quality of the drinks. My partner and I always get their Osmanthus Golden Oolong Milk Tea and it hits pretty well. It's refreshing and definitely one of their top drinks. Menu is extensive which is a nice look. Besides that, the astronaut/space theme is a nice touch as well, pretty unique design that you don't really find elsewhere. Overall, a subpar tea spot that's downgraded plenty, seems like they're doing a lot of budgeting which is understandable. If you don't mind a longer wait time, check out L2 for their solid drinks.

It's actually a premium Phoenix Dancong oolong known for its ridiculously sweet, floral aroma. Legend has it the original tea farmer made up the name so rivals wouldn't steal his secret crop. My previous go to spot for this tea closed down, but Pawfect Drinks, a small husband and wife run shop in San Gabriel, has officially taken its place. They use fresh fruit, never skimp on ingredients, and have plenty of seating if you want to hang out, study, or play board games. It's open daily from noon to 10 PM, and it isn't just approved by me, my very strict, hard to please Asian mom gives it two thumbs up, too. Here's my go-tos: Duck Shit Lemon Tea: They hand muddle fresh lemon right into the brewed oolong. While they don't use perfume lemons, this is still easily one of the best duck shit lemon teas in the area. Durian Smoothie: If you love durian, do not skip this. You can get standard durian or durian avocado. They use real Thai durian and are extremely generous with the portion. It's thick, creamy, and packed with actual fruit on top of fruit. Strawberry Chinese Yogurt Shake: Move over, Erewhon! This easily rivals the Hailey Bieber smoothie at a fraction of the cost. The Chinese yogurt adds a delicious, tangy creaminess, and you can swap in coconut milk if you're dairy free. It's loaded with probiotics and works wonders for digestion. They also offer mango, banana, dragon fruit, and hawthorn options. Lychee Sparkling Soda: Super refreshing, light, and packed with lychee jelly and chia seeds. Perfect for a hot afternoon. With so many massive boba chains dominating the SGV, I love supporting a local mom and pop spot doing things right.

They open late (10 pm) and have a very inviting interior that encourages people to sit down and lounge. For the durian lovers out there (not me)... they have durian offerings for you between durian or durian/avocado. I tried the Banana Yogurt Shake. I've had the purple rice yogurt shake before from other yogurt drink yogurt shakes offered and since I like bananas, I had to try it. And, WOW, this was really good!!! Also tried the Peach Oolong Milk Tea that also hit the spot if you're not looking for a shake. Check out my pics!

It is a smaller store so there isn't any place for you to sit inside but it's more of a grab and go location Once you walk in, there is a order kiosk that you can place your orders. It makes it easy to pay and earn points. And once you're drinks or order, they will announce your name over the loudspeaker so you know it's ready. It's also ready to order online prior to going so things are ready to go once you get there. Parking can be a little bit dicey there's a tiny lot right behind it. But attend the park right on San Gabriel Boulevard. But this is one of the great places to get Boba and tea drinks in the area. This is the one that's closest to me.

The Sunright Boba Milk Tea with less ice and 25% sugar was great. The tea was very fragrant and not too overpowering. Really enjoyed how it wasn't too milky or sweet. The boba was very soft, fresh, and chewy. Overall, I was very pleased with my drinks and would definitely recommend and return.
