Because I wanted order a tea grape foam. And I was answered by a staff member "oh we don't have that anymore!" Love to support a local family business though please keep in mind to least edit. The outdated advertisement of drinks that are discounted it could count. As false advertisement and misleading. So fix and update your brouchers of the menus please it would help. This used to be my favorite boba spot in Temple City, when it came to drinks and late night snacks. However I noticed that A LOT has declined in the last several months during my visits. It appears that management has resorted to shady tactics in order to meet the bottom line. Firstly, they now charge a "fee" when you pay using a card. I usually order 2 drinks at a time, so my charge is 42¢ extra. Boba is free of charge, but make sure you tell them you want light boba, otherwise you'll end up with mostly boba and not enough drink. And here's the kicker, if you want light or no ice, they will fill your cup with half water to make up the difference. No joke! The manager and I had a back and forth about it. Smh, I would gladly pay a surcharge not to get a nasty diluted milk tea or fruit drink. Just hugely disappointing. I feel bad writing this review, because the cashier and worker for the past 2 nights seems incredibly sweet and helpful. But there's not much he can do when the manager/owner is onsite. My drinks are consistently watered down and gross when she's on-site and making the drinks herself. It's been a good run, but time to find a new place that values quality and customers over profit. read more

I ordered the mill tea with boba and a meal of curry and rice. The price was pretty expensive and the drink was not quality standards. I would only come here if you were very close by and didn't have enough time to get something else to eat. I waited around 30 minutes for both items. The atmosphere is a mixture like sometimes it's loud and sometimes it's quiet. Overall, the food and drink were okay and not that overly good. read more

I tried this place a long time ago and I remembered not liking it so much, so I gave it another chance just yesterday after many years, and I still don't like it lol. They have a large selection of drinks such as smoothies, juices, tea, etc. but they seem to be very limited with their toppings. I tried one of their top drinks, oolong milk tea, and it basically tasted like sweet water. It was soooo diluted that I felt like I just wasted my money on this when it was also $4 for a small standard cup that doesn't even taste like genuine tea. It was totally not worth it. I expected more considering that this place has decent ratings for a boba shop, but totally not worth. If this is coming out from their "top drinks menu", I wouldn't expect much from their other drinks then. read more

A great study spot! This cute little cafe is my go to place when I know that I will be in need of a good study place with plentiful seating, outlets, and yummy drinks & snack options. I've tried different types of mixed teas and they're all great (: Very fresh tea flavor and you can tell they use very high quality ingredients. I don't know about my friends drink but I liked my Harry Potter drink! I recommend getting the drink at 50% sweetened, and even then it's way too sweet. What I didn't like was the automatic tip that's added on to your bill if you don't catch it on time. I feel like that makes this place lose two stars because it's deceptive technique for more money. I visited this restaurant late at night on a Thursday. It was not too busy. I made a few orders. With my first order, I paid with debit. I was asked to sign and was verbally told my total was $17.59. After signing, I received my receipt with a gratuity of $2.64 added. I did not verbally approve this tip or had the opportunity to see a "add a tip" option on the screen. I did not appreciate the cashier had helped himself to a tip without my approval. I would have been glad to provide a tip on this purchase and any additional purchases had the cashier not done this. Purchases thereafter were made in cash. We did not want the same cashier to help himself to our money. I would recommend others to also pay in cash to avoid this issue. Food itself was okay. A good snack to enjoy late at night with friends. The drink was not for myself but my friend had told me it had an artificial aftertaste and was not sweet enough. The environment was okay as well. I had the most popular item here, the signature meet tea toast or simply called the bunny dessert. It's actually a few pieces of toasted bread stacked on top of each other used as the base for ice cream shaped into a bunny with the addition of fresh fruits, colorful cereals and whipped cream. I'll give it a five for how cute it was but read on why I ended up with just three. The place has a lot of seating so it's a popular hangout for students to study or group of friends playing cards or just hanging around. We approached the counter and told the lady we wanted the toast. She asked if we wanted it to go to which we replied no we'd like to dine in. She told us to have a seat then and wait for our server. Minutes passed by but no one came until the same lady approached us, handed us the menu and asked again what we wanted. I felt it's such a big waste of time. Saw this place by a fellow yelper and decided to check it out! This is by far the best work/study spot I've found so far. They close late, have decently priced drinks and snacks, free wifi, and has many outlets and seats that I can sit in all day! The music isn't super loud and I don't get bothered so it's a great place to get some work done! Though on some days it can be hours of taylor swiftlol but get some headphones and that won't be a problem! I'm not really a boba/tea drinker (I've worked at enough boba shops) but they offer a variety of other drink options- by far my favorite is their watermelon juice! Their snack options like the popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries are good: I have yet to try the other snack options! I like their yogurt slushes as well! There is only one bathroom all the way in the back of the store, so you'll see people coming to and fro all the time- best be seated toward the wall as to not have any moving distractions in your view if you are studying. If you stay during the night, they leave the door open so it can make the inside very cold - I'd recommend having a jacket if you plan on staying when it gets dark. Also, later at night, the smell of cigarette smoke may waft in from late night patrons smoking outside: so if you are sensitive to smoke or smells, just be aware. You can pay when you leave, which is convenient so when I leave I simply go to the register to ring my order! They give 2 dollar coupons on occasion and that's super neat! The staff overall are good, though rarely check up on patrons after they give them their food/drinks. I appreciate that I can use a reusable container with no issues so I don't need to use any plastic. I've left it behind by accident once, and they still had it when I had come back a few days later! Parking is in the plaza and it's free! It can get crowded during the later part of the day (after 3 or so), so finding parking near the establishment may present a challenge. But if you are simply picking up an order, there are 15/30 min parking spaces right in front of the store. Overall, a great place to meet with friends, do some work, and study while munching on some popcorn chicken! read more
