Hello, what is the cost to get gel manicure removed if you got it done elsewhere? Do I need to make an appointment?

How long does the dip nail powder nails last? And whats the price?

I haven't seen this on their menu of services. Unless, it is new and they haven't updated their menu. I would call them and ask.

My daughter had a gel manicure & she mentioned the color she chose also has that issue. I guess when you have so many options to choose from there are bond to be bottles that don't get regularly used. The experience was pleasant for my pedicure, but I would suggest making an appt.w/the younger male nail specialist for details on your manicure. It seems like he has a keen eye for details. Visiting Lena's Nail was a quick & efficient experience so if you don't have an appt.then walk in's seem welcomed here.

Unfortunately, my experiences on 7/1 and 7/29 have left me seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. Both times, I booked my appointment online and specifically requested my preferred technician. When I arrived on 7/1, I was told, "She's not working today," and was assigned to another technician instead. I did not have a positive experience with that appointment, but I let it go and assumed it was a one-time issue. I scheduled another appointment with my preferred technician for 7/29. When I arrived, I was told once again that she was not working and was being passed to another technician. What was even more disappointing was the interaction that followed when I expressed my disappointment about this happening twice in the same month. The owner was dismissive and told me that my preferred technician has had Wednesdays off "for two years already" and that I should have known. She also stated that I didn't understand what she told me during my previous visit. However, when someone says, "She's not working today," most people would reasonably interpret that to mean she is unavailable that day, not that she never works Wednesdays. That information was never clearly communicated to me. If this technician truly does not work Wednesdays, the online booking system should reflect that. As of the time I am writing this review, the website still shows availability for her on future Wednesdays, allowing customers to book appointments that apparently cannot be honored. What bothered me most was the lack of accountability and empathy. In my experience with other service providers, whether salons, massage therapists, or instructors, if the person you booked with is unavailable, the business contacts you beforehand so you can decide whether to keep the appointment with someone else or reschedule. Instead, Aesthetic Nails' process appears to be confirming appointments by text, having customers arrive for their scheduled appointment, and only then informing them that their requested technician is unavailable before assigning them to someone else. I didn't raise the issue on 7/1, but after it happened again on 7/29, I felt it was important to bring it to management's attention. Unfortunately, my concerns were met with a dismissive attitude rather than an effort to understand or resolve the situation. If you don't have a preference for a particular technician and are comfortable being reassigned upon arrival, Aesthetic Nails may still work well for you. However, if booking with a specific technician is important to you, my experience is that the online scheduling system and communication process may not be reliable or a positive experience.

So I found a more simple look, in which they agreed they would do. Holly did amazing on my pedicure, but by the time they got to my manicure, I could tell they were rushing. I'm a very understanding and kind person. I honestly wish I had just canceled the manicure. They didn't even prep my nails (i.e. remove my cuticles). The cherry on top was how expensive it was for such a poor job -- $150 . I feel so taken advantage of honestly, and it's a really bad start to my birthday now. She even forgot to put a top coat on my left hand and I can tell the difference.

I moved to Hayward recently and had been bouncing around trying to find a new nail spot--came across Sam's page because I was curious about Russian manicures and she does them beautifully. Just a heads up on the booking process: the site directs you to request an appointment, but it's not auto-confirmed--Sam has to accept it manually. For my first appointment, I booked for the next day and wasn't sure if it was going through, so now I just DM her directly to check in. Super easy once you know the flow. Sam herself is super sweet and easy to talk to. She recently went solo with her business, so it's just her now--and honestly, I love that. It's chill, one-on-one, and you can tell she really cares about quality. She has a gorgeous selection of colors and uses high-end products, which I think is why everything lasts so long. The first time I went, my nails were in sad shape and I honestly didn't think they'd bounce back. A month later? I've got legit nails I'm proud to show off. If you're looking for a new nail tech who's talented, kind, and really knows her stuff, definitely give Sam a try. I've already planned my next visit.

First, I was shocked that a basic kids' pedicure for my 8-year-old son cost $27. All they did was trim and clean his nails, followed by a short leg massage. That price seems extremely high for such a simple service, and there was never any discussion of pricing beforehand. The biggest issue, though, was my own nails. I paid about $55 for my gel manicure--$35 for gel polish, plus an additional $20 for a French tip and a small Mickey design. When I woke up the very next morning, less than 24 hours later, the entire gel polish had already peeled completely off one of my thumbnails. The French tip and Mickey design on other nails were also already lifting and peeling. I've never had a gel manicure fail this quickly. If I lived closer and didn't have to drive across the bridge, I would absolutely return to request a full refund because this level of quality is unacceptable. Between my dad, my two kids, and me, we spent close to $500, so we expected much better workmanship. My daughter's nails actually turned out great, so this review is strictly about the quality of my nails. One other thing that bothered me was my dad's pedicure. The staff kept offering him additional services during the appointment, and he kept saying yes without realizing each one came with an extra charge. By the end, his pedicure totaled over $100 plus tip. I really think pricing for add-on services should be clearly explained before they're performed so customers can make informed decisions. I've attached photos showing my thumbnail the morning after my appointment, along with photos I took the night before. It's incredibly disappointing to spend this much money and have a gel manicure start peeling in less than 24 hours.

Nobody rushed me with "hello what do you want" or shoved a color wall in my face before I even sat down. I actually felt like a person, not just another number to get in and out. It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers. Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run. Once you go to Delane's and get treated with that kind of value and respect, you won't want to go back to anywhere else. And honestly, you shouldn't have to. Ask for Brandi.

Really bad experience the first time I went it was really nice there was a lady in the front that was helping me out so I recommended my cousin to go with me for the second time and told her that I had a really good experience there. When I got there we were a little bit late we had an appointment I requested a lady there named Lisa sweet lady.the owner at the desk which was a man sounded really nice at first he gave Lisa to another customer and my cousin was doing her pedicure while I had to wait for the person that I requested then he had put other customer that came in and sat her down next to my cousins which I was supposed to sit there. I had asked her nicely that if that the other customer to the other side because I wanted to sit next to my cousin he gave me an attitude and started saying that it was our fault that we came late when I had called him trying to tell him that we were running late I told him to lower his voice because he was very loud and was very embarrassing the other people were hearing but he didn't care I was so surprised and shocked how aggressive he was towards a woman. my cousin was very upset and got out of the chair and told me let's go.they had barely did anything with her pedicure the woman that did her pedicure was very embarrassed for her boss to talk like that to a customer. when we got out we did not pay he yelled outside and said you're not going to pay my cousin responded and said why am I going to pay if they didn't do anything you don't want to come he screamed out of his top of his lungs and said don't come here again you bitch ! how embarrassing outside people were walking out in the street I've never had a problem going to a salon I just wanted to try something new. After living in the Bay for 9 months now, I think I've FINALLY found a good nail place! I came in with a full hand of chipped, ugly pink and whites, and one nail completely missing from my left hand. 5 stars began when the lady who was originally going to do my fill stepped back and handed the job over to a different lady admitting the other lady is better at pink and white. Surprised, I was pleased that she switched me over rather that taking the job and doing terrible at it. As a result, Trisha gladly fixed them, and repaired the one that was missing. Although I usually like to keep my nails very square in shape, I forgot to mention this to her so she filed them a little rounder than I usually like. However, she still made them look very natural and for that I am still very pleased. She also put cuticle oil on both hands for me as my cuticles were in terrible shape. The environment was very clean, peaceful, and well-organized. Mike is very customer oriented. He checks in regularly offering water, tea, wine and snacks! Even after passing a few times due to taking my own coffee in, he still brought me water in case I was going to want some. The ladies are very talkative and look like they actually want to be there versus other nail salons where the ladies are only there because they have to be. I was also given a stamp card that offers a free service after 10 visits! What a steal for someone who has had acrylics for 6 years now. Overall, I am very pleased and will be returning! read more

First let me start by saying that i have been looking for my go to spot for the two years that I've been living in the eat Bay Area. I have finally found it. I picked this place for two reasons, 1. My name is Megan. How can I not want to try this place? And 2. The fabulous reviews. When I walked in Mike greeted me right away. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. I am always worried about a crazy infection from a nail place. Always. I decided that I would get a deluxe pedicure (30.00)and a gel manicure (25.00) Mike told me it would be about 10 minutes I said okay and went to pick my color. Lisa called me over to my set and gets me settled in. I liked this place already, Lisa got me water and chips (I'm officially in heaven.) Mike had Netflix set up. I would bet that they would you request something. Lisa talked to me for a little bit and was very nice. It was honestly one of the pedicures I've ever had. I never felt rushed, she made sure I liked my color and shape. I had a business meeting in town. After it was done, I had enough free time . I decided to go treat myself to a manicure. Found this salon while looking around. My first impression is just WOW! Every inch of this place is really clean. The techs working here are really friendly and polite. The nail tech working on my nails was really professional. Throughout the process of my manicure, she was very gentle and focus on fulfilling all my requests without a single problem. When she was done, I was really pleased with how my nails looked now. I had an excellent experience at this nail salon. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. The salon itself was clean, relaxing, and well organized, which immediately made me feel comfortable. My nail technician, Tammy, paid close attention to detail and took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Today was my 1st visit and I am very happy with this place . Everyone is so nice and they really do cater to you . I usually get a basic manicure , every where I go . And compared to every other place I've went to , my nails lasted longer here . One of the ladies convinced me to try shellac and I must say I am so happy she did. She did my toes and another lady did my hands . I really enjoyed my visit today . She got the shape of the exactly how I wanted it . And cleaned my nails really good . She was rough and gentle at the same time , which was perfect. The salon is very clean, spa chairs are new and they do very good massage. That make me feel so good. My regular mani and pedi started chipping in less than two days. They did both mani and pedi at the same time, while talking very loudly to each other in their own language. Not relaxing at all and most importantly, not worth $82 plus tip. The lack of quality and professionalism doesn't match their prices. Will not be going back. read more

I do already have a nail tech in Hayward, but after today, I'm seriously considering making the switch. Now I just want to see how long these last.. my sets usually hold up 4-5 weeks, so we'll see! I also gave a tip so I wound up paying even more for the service. To be fair, the nail technician was very gentle and did a thorough job with my hands and feet. The basin to soak my feet in wasn't filled with hot water, though I asked for the temperature to be adjusted higher. Also, the massage was pretty weak and short. I would go back though because the nail tech knew what she was doing. Next time I'll cross reference the pricing menu against what I'm being quoted to make sure they aren't fudging the numbers.

I was really excited when this place opened up. I'm the type of person that likes to get pretty intricate nail art and collaborate with their nail tech, so I went here three times just to give them a chance and see what they could do. The first time I went with my friend and her technician kept complaining that her nails are too short for the design she wanted. My friend told her many times that she needs them short for work. In the end, that's on the skill level of the nail tech and should not have been the customer's fault. My set went fine, my nail tech was very kind, and the art work was cute. Second time I went there for wedding nails, they said they could do the design and had their tech practice the design in advance since I sent the pictures early. My tech was actively getting trained on the job how to do the nails, which is fine, but the owner was making passive aggressive comments on how she has to keep telling clients the design will not be like the picture, only similar. I left with a "good enough" nail set because I was already there for a few hours. Third time, I gave them a photo of the design I wanted in advance and mentioned in the client comments when you book that I wanted them black and white. Again, amazing that they get their techs to practice, but hope was already dwindling. The day of my appointment, the owner showed me how the nail design turned out on someone she practiced on, and it looked PERFECT! I had hope my nails would turn out the way I wanted them to. Then things took a turn when her partner reminded her that I wanted black and white. She decided to have an argument with her partner in the middle of the nail salon about her wasting her time picking out colors and decided to not do my nails. Instead, she leaves the tech who is prepping my nails to carry on with an intricate design, plus there's communication issues between the two of us when I try to tell them what I want done. The tech tried their best, then visibility got overwhelmed because of the language barrier, and told me the owner would take care of my nails. She had already left me to do another client's nails that came in well after my appointment time because she was upset. Honestly, what kind of owner has an argument with their partner in front of clients and then proceeds to neglect their original client??? I wasn't going to wait even longer (I was already there for two hours) for her to finish with another client, so i walked out. I had never ever walked out on a salon before. The partner insisted I didn't have to pay for an incomplete job (my nails only had two layers of solid color without top coat), but I insisted that I at least tip my nail tech that struggled with me.

I walked in while she was finishing up a pedi on a customer. Her salon is very quaint, clean, comfortable, and almost spotless! She's very sweet and kind, and easy to have conversations with. I asked for French manicure and she told me the color looked good alone and I agreed. However, I stuck with my decision with getting French to look clean for a potential interview in the following week. She said she can try French on a finger and let me decide if I want to continue. I asked for thicker line but she told me it wouldn't look good thicker, and that most people do thin. I have to admit that I most likely won't return for French nails, but a gel manicure is fine. Be advised she doesn't use alcohol and a brush tool to give you the perfect clean white top...& just wings it using the nail polish brush (hence the results). FYI Gel French mani is +$5 which wasn't mentioned until it was time to pay and I asked for the breakdown. I did appreciate her attention to my bottom foot callus when she was lotioning my foot. I told her I used to run a lot and that sucker formed. She took her tool and started clipping it off. Thank you, Linda! **update on my nails 13days later... I'm shocked at how the polish has been peeling and lifting. Normally my gel polishes last me over a month and doesn't get caught to my hair. It's 3/20/25, the gel has not peeled at all. i use light gloves when i do the dishes or anything that might touch my fingers. I love my nails and will go back soon.
