Brown sugar milkshake with tapioca pearls
    Ivana F.

This little spot is a hidden gem tucked away in the corner of the plaza. A Boba go to for sure! Inside has a cute wall set up for some nice pics too! Today I ordered a large brown sugar milkshake with tapioca pearls! The tapioca pearls were made fresh and were warm and chewy! The mixture was a perfect blend! This establishment is family owned and are as sweet as the boba! They also make homemade dumplings that are delish! A great place to try something different for sure! Will definitely be back to get another delicious concoction!

This is a small tea shop. I liked the bubble tea the most. I went for the thai and earl grey ones with the normal tapioca bubbles. Both were good. Steamed red bean bun was ok. I think it is just a single person cooking here. Availability of items varies.

The bubble tea is amazing, the calming sense once you walk on the door with the cute decor on the wall, and music playing takes your worries away. When you order your food, it comes in a fo container and the lady draws a cute little picture on it, saying thank you. Yes there is a wait sometimes, but let's be honest, the best things are worth the wait. It's truly our happy place. (mine and my teenagers)

Because of the outside view I would have never stopped here. What a mistake that would have been!!! Their boba is fantastic!! I will be back!!

Thanks to the 95 degree weather my friend and I wanted a cool drink. He suggested I try a Bubble tea. So we came here and cake up with the combination of ginger honey bubble fruit tea with lychee. It was absolutely amazing. They young lady at the register was very helpful in explained the choices. I am totally telling folks about the place and coming back next week. Thanks for the refreshing tea and great service!

First bubble tea shop that I've spotted in Plainville. Located next to the Dairy Queen, you'll be scratching your head wondering what you should get on a hot summer day. Bubble tea is always a nice choice; easy for a quick grab and go drink. Walking in, it looked like it was a deli that was converted to a bubble tea shop. There were simple designs and sayings for the shop lightening up the mood. Along the wall lined with tables to sit; there are strings of flowers that decorate the white wall. They aim to help you out if you are a first time bubble tea drinker, offering a guide to ordering. You'll pick your flavors, sugar/ice level and any additions to your drink. I ordered a Large Iced Taro Bubble Tea with grass jelly and bubbles, while my sister ordered a Large Iced Matcha Bubble Tea with bubbles. Both with 75% sugar. Watching as the drinks were made, you will see the drinks will be made with powder; while isn't bad, could have you wanting more. My sister remarked that the tapioca bubbles weren't that good, didn't have a flavor and were a little hard. She regrets getting them and not getting the heart shaped jellies. I had to agree with her but the grass jelly was good enough for me. It looks like it's still getting itself established and will be adding more items like dumplings and other stuff. I think the location works for the items she is selling just have to improve the recipe a little.

Mango milk tea with mango pearls and a regular milk tea with boba

The lady behind the counter was so sweet. We got two bubble teas and they were very good. We also wanted dumplings but they didn't have all flavors just beef and vegetable. I'm assuming it was because we walked in at the end of their day. Still I will be coming back!

I love this place! The prices are very reasonable and the tea selection is huge! I got the taro-coconut milk tea with grass jelly (50% sweetness) and it was so delicious. I'm so excited to go back again and try more flavors. The owner is very friendly and was helpful in making suggestions.

A popular place (for good reason) so be prepared to potentially wait a while for the tea. So worth it though! Everything was delicious!

Their bubble tea is just sugar water with boba. I asked for no sweetener and I still thought it was overly sweet.

I actually had no idea this was also a tavern/bar. The Plainville location of Rebel Dog was very busy today, they had trivia going on. I first got their Salted Caramel Toffee Latte. This was as expected pretty sweet, but still solid. We got the garlic flatbread to share. This garlic bread was very pouffy and cheesy, but it lacked garlic. The arugula salad was very light and fresh, it had crispy almonds and chickpeas all over. I got the Winter Chili Grain Bowl. This was very satisfying on a winter day. The chili was tender and offered just a bit of heat. The corn on it was crunchy, there was a small scoop of a grainy salad and some fresh avocado. Overall we were all satisfied with our visit at Rebel Dog. I thought it was a bit odd that they close at 4:00 o'clock everyday.

So being in the area, decided to come here and pick up some donuts for the ride home. We got here late in the day, and they were out of almost everything when I got there. I managed to get a churro and matcha donut. I then saw they did a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and had to give that a try as well ( they only do the cup on the weekends) The donuts were very fresh, light and chewy. They are high in price but much better in quality compared to other places I've tried. The Dubai strawberry cup had a kind of weak chocolate sauce over them. Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not strong or mellow like the expensive chocolates. The strawberries were fresh, and the Dubai part needed a little salt to counteract the sweet and enhance the earthy. Inside is well decorated but dirty. All the tables were dirty, there's lots of dust and other ditritus when I was waiting for my dessert. It was end of day, so I get why they would not be fully clean. But there's some repairs that need to get done and there's cracks in the facade. Despite the lack of donuts, the quality was good and the Dubai strawberries were a nice sweet treat. This is a good place to get some interesting food items or sweet treats. Not a trek worthy spot, but good if you're around
