This is my go to chinese food in modesto. The menu os simple and the food is great. The house fried rice is great but i request them to make it datker meaning more soy sauce. The hot braised chicken is also great combining with white rice. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. So if you are craving chinese food go here. read more

We really need to eat in at this place to give it a more accurate review, seems unfair to rate places only after getting it to go. I liked the garlic chicken and the chow mein was pretty good also. Pot stickers tasted well but by the time you get them home they are soggy but that's not their fault. They were crazy busy and quite impressive that they were able to handle the non stop phone ringing for orders, the seven or eight people that were picking up their to go and a full dining area. Looking for a place that makes sweet and sour shrimp and came across this gem of a place. The restaurant is small and clean. The waitresses that work there are fantastic. They kept the plates of food coming as well as the drink refills. We tried two appetizers, the green beans and the potstickers (gyoza) and they were pretty good. We had some pork chow main which was outstanding. The fried rice was decent. The steak with mushrooms was delightful, the steak was tender and I added some bean sprouts and that just set it over the top. We had the sweet and sour shrimp that was nice and fresh and then we also had some sweet and sour chicken that was phenomenal nice and crispy. Over all this place is a great spot to have a nice meal. I'm not sure what happened to this place ( is it same owners) but I'm so sad. I went there today and got the two item combo I always get... It was $20.... And the food was horrible. I got the orange chicken and the broccoli beef. It was all sauce. Thick gooey sauce. I've never had a bad meal there until today and it's been my go-to spot for years. Sides (fried rice & chow mein) to our combination dinners were cold & old. They looked & tasted like leftovers. Months ago when I ordered the Chinese chicken salad, it came without the dressing that I had specified should be on the salad, not on the side. Never ordering take-out from this place again. I been going here for years my mother here for her birthday and the food was cold. It was very disappointing. As soon as we sat down, they took order and we got our soup real quick, but the food came right after the soup.. It was like it was microwaved the food.
