Great server and pizza!! It was Christmas Eve and they went above and beyond. We tipped our waitress well.

Out of town from the Chicagoland area and walked past this place as usual for us to think we wouldn't be able to eat out at a pizza place because of food allergies and restrictions. Walked past again the other way and the outside menu caught my eye that said "vegan and gluten free", and knowing that vegan usually included allergy friendly ingredients, I stopped to check. I went in and was greeted with a smile by Alexia. When I asked her about ingredients, she went in the back and grabbed the books to show me. She didn't think any of my questions were ridiculous and was super helpful. I couldn't believe that we could actually get a table. Our server, Nikki, greeted us. She was happy to take our restrictions serious, was on top of drink refills, and checked on us the right amount of times. She was helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients, and friendly. Overall, this experience was a 10+ and we left very happy. I actually shed tears because this was the very first time me and my family could eat out at a pizza place. We always have to make pizzas at home, so this was the biggest treat ever. My oldest is 18 if that tells you how long it's been for us. The place is a great atmosphere. There were many different types of pizzas to choose from and they were all very good. The restaurant overall was very colorful and creative. We got our pizza to go because we had a balcony suite at the Hilton at the Landing. We (hubby and I) got the House Special and it was really good. Not a big fan of whole tomato slices on pizza and I did end up taking those off, it tasted good with or without them. Great place for pizza and wings. I loved the ambiance and art in the restaurant and on the menu. We ordered the oven roasted wings (whole = 10 wings) with sweet Thai chili sauce on the side. The wings were perfect, juicy and tasty with and without the sauce. It hit the spot! I got a small, build your own pizza with a gluten free crust. It was pretty good overall. I don't like the price though, at $1.50 per topping. A little expensive. My bf got the small Merry Prankster pizza which he really liked. I was definitely jealous of the fluffy crust! We've been to a Mellow Mushroom location before but saw this one in Branson and knew we needed to check it out. Food: The pizza here is AMAZING!!! The crust is so fluffy and crispy, and the toppings are so delicious. Service: We liked their system of sending a text when your table was ready because you could go check out the shops at the landing while you waited. But, it took at least 45 minutes - an hour for our food to arrive. They were pretty busy so that probably explains the wait. Ambiance: The restaurant has such a cool vibe! It's like a modern 70s ambiance with fun murals and lights. It was also super clean and an overall happy place to be. Now we came here, because my son looked it up on the reviews and saw a pizza burger. Picture is in attachments. When we arrived, the place was busy. It was a Friday night, so no doubt but we were seated. The waitress was nice but missing in action most of the night. It took us about 45 minutes to get our pizzas and burgers, and it was only two of us. I could just imagine how it is if you were really hungry and had to wait. I ordered mushroom soup and it was not good at all to me. I love mushrooms and soup, this was a no go for me. My son really enjoyed his pizza burger and was happy that he chose it, but it did cost about $15 bucks. We did not get refills on our drinks, our waitress never offer refills.. My pizza was good, but not worth what I paid for it. Or the wait time it took to receive it. The bill was pretty high for what we bought. But it was spring break and I wanted my kid to try something new. Would I come back probably not. but we did just drive through from Texas and have these there as well! read more

The food was great, but the service was abysmal with the exception of an older female server who was so kind and picked up the slack of others who ignored us. We ate there last night and arrived around 5. We were seated promptly, but for the next 20 minutes totally invisible to the employees. Finally, an older female server stopped at our table and volunteered to help us even though we were not one of her tables. She was wonderful and we left her a 40 percent tip. The pizza was excellent but I'm not sure I would return. If that sweet lady had not been working I don't know how long we would have sat there. We spoke to the hostess on our way out to praise the lady who did help us and she pulled up the seating chart and we were in a 5 table section that should have been served by someone called Josh. Several servers walked by in that 20 minutes we sat there and except for that one sweet lady they just averted their eyes and walked by. Lesson for your younger servers. Food was great and reminded me of my college days in Orlando visiting the location there. Appetizers were prompt and our server was more than accommodating with any of our requests. All of the servers wore masks and seem like they were taking the proper precautions to clean. This was such a fun place to eat. My wife and I have had barbecue chicken pizza at about a dozen restaurants over the years. This was by far the best we've ever had! The chicken was tender and very flavorful. They use only white meat and real bacon. The onions and everything was cooked to perfection. And wait to you taste the cheesy crust! I would've given them five stars for the pizza alone. We also had the house salad with the homemade dressing. The salad was good but not fabulous the dressings are outstanding now. The cheesy bread was the best! The bread was thick and soft not crunchy like most. The cheese was just right amount and it was oh so good! We got a large Funky Q. Chicken pizza. It was Chicken, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce! OH MY was it good. The chicken was tender and juicy, bacon had a nice crisp to it and the BBQ sauce was nice and tangy. The adult pizzas were good. Had the Kosmic Karma was cheesy and the Roma tomato's slices added sweetness. The pesto swirl added a nice added layer of flavor. The the Maui Wowie (local option to Brandon) had grilled chicken that was juicy, tender and spicy. Disappointment in the kids pizza. It's just basically cheese bread. My kiddo was so bummed that this is what it was. A basic French bread loaf, split, and topped with cheese. Such a cheap cop out. Another disappointment was the cocktail. I got the Jam 'n Juice. Watery fruit juice drink, couldn't even taste the bourbon. There were plenty of open tables at 6:30 pm on a Sunday,but it is Branson's off season. Service was acceptable. We were seated, got our order taken quickly, and food was brought out in a very reasonable time. However, no one seemed happy to be there. Just greeted with a mundane "hello". Shown to our table by a host with no smile. Our server didn't seem thrilled or happy at all. I'm torn, they did their job and met the expectation of serving us with no SNAFUs. First off the host on August 12, 2024 at lunch time was extremely rude! He did not even open his mouth just held up his hand with a disgusted look on his face holding up 4 fingers when there was 5 of us. Sat us at the table with not so much as a word or smile. This was also our first time at this establishment. So not a good look right off the bat I wish we never would have went in and just left after the rudeness that we encountered. Our server was nice but not very attentive and the food was mediocre and overpriced for what it was. Gluten Free Review +gluten free crust Management has a ways to come here, ordered a gluten free pizza and family members ordered something else. They're pizza came out within 10 minutes and told me mine would be right out, which is normal with gluten free. 20 Minutes later she told me that they had made the wrong pizza not gluten free so they had to remake it. The manager finally came over to "check on things" and we said not good we just need a to go box now because everyone else is finished. She did not offer to take off any of our drinks, or discount the pizza, nothing, absolute trash management. They should understand if you mess up a customers order you need to compensate that issue with a positive for a customer experience that's a good outcome. Not here, thanks Mellow Mushroom. After a long day at Silver Dollar City I got to eat some crappy pizza on the walk back to the car so my family didn't have to wait. read more
