Pizza is always amazing! Love their Greek salad! It's huge (perfect for sharing), so fresh, tasty & loaded with toppings. I love their beer selection....so many taps & they always have specials. Wait staff is always fast & friendly. I was distraught when I saw our favorite pizza The Philosopher not on the menu but, I was assured we could still order...whew! I honestly in all the years I've came here have NEVER had a bad experience & that's a rare thing to find. I do have one wish since we don't get to Conyers much that they would open a larger one in Covington. It would do very well! Especially with Covington on the up & up these days. First time in a long time eating Mellow Mushroom instead of spending my money at the publicly racist pizza place. I'm looking for a new pizza home when in our GA home. $25 large pizza, house special, why not try it. We spend about the same at our favorite pizza spot in Florida but much larger pie and better sauce, ordered extra sauce but can't find it on the pie that's disappointing. I gave them a second star because the nice young lady completing my transaction noticed my pie didn't have any bacon on it, nice catch. Now I have enclosed a photo of the fix, basically the guy threw bacon on top, thanks my man that's professional. Pick up Time was 9:46 pm so I'm guessing it was more important to close than make a great pie for the guest paying online. Pizza wasn't hot, thankfully I have a microwave. I must admit even with the debacle of putting this pie together it's better than some other chains around. I think based off the reviews eating in this place would have netted a better experience. All in all the moral of the story is I'm still searching for a pizza home in GA. read more

Veggie Pizza, Holy Siitake Pie, BBQ Chicken Pizza are my favs. Never had a problem with customer service and if something was prepared incorrectly, they were happy to resolve it. If you are worried about the atmosphere, Mellow Mushroom is definitely appropriate for children of all ages. I called in a to go order at 8:01 pm. I was told it would be ready in 35-40 minutes. I arrive after 45 minutes to be safe. Once I get here I'm told it's coming out the oven. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I'm told "I'm sorry we're making it now. Someone never made it." How do we go from coming out the oven to it's not even made?! The only reason I stayed was because my son was starving and I already paid. After waiting a total hour and 16 mins I finally get my food with half my order cold. I'm never coming back. read more

Best pizza in town hands down (we always get shrimp & spinach and it's delicious every single time). The lunch specials are great (most are under $8 and come with a drink) and the people that work there are super friendly. My only complaint is the fact that there aren't any napkins at the table. I love the build your own salad option - you can see how the nutritional values change as you add/delete items - so it can be exactly the salad that is perfect for you. It is amazing how many salads are not the healthiest choice, especially when you are looking at something like sodium values. My friend and I came for lunch at mellow mushroom conyers. The waitress did not acknowledge us standing waiting to order for a good 2 minutes. When she finally looked up she did not greet us and was rude. Once we received our food she not once come back by our table to inquire if we needed anything. My pizza had waaay too much sauce. Overall not a good experience simply due to the rude waitress and there for we will not come back. I'd rather travel to a further location in the future. Great food. Horrible to go service. It's never ready. I keep giving them another try because the food is good. There is always an excuse when I get there and have to wait. Ugh. I've only tried their pizza and it was really good. But the service was a little off that day, I guess. As a tip, call in for pickup if you're not going to eat there, because if you order there the pizza takes about 30 to 40 mins so you'll be waiting a long time. The general setting is actual what you would expect a restaurant named Mellow Mushroom to look like. It was very eclectic. But as far as the food goes, the pizza is really good, the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I like the dough and crust a lot . This is a pretty cool place, as far as pizza goes. Though I enjoy slice's pizza better, there stuff's pretty great too, and you get to miss out of the sometimes-uppity corwd. Mellow Mushroom's calzone's are fantastic and twice the size of what any decent human being should consume in a single sitting. My wife and I almost always get two meals out of a takeout order, and they do trivia on Monday nights. Get a full order of butter and parmesan soft pretzels and eat them when they're hot. Good stuff! They periodically have rediculously good beer specials too if you have to wait on a takeout order, but they're pretty accurate on their forecast times for the most part. read more

Had lunch on Tuesday with two friends. I ordered slice with mushrooms and small Greek salad. Pizza crust had an after taste. Can't put my finger on it, but did not enjoy. The Greek salad was a tossed salad (who ever heard of carrots in a genuine greek salad) with olives and feta on top. Not impressed. Lettuce was fresh and house dressing was good. The owners and the people they hire. That's why I "hate on" the local Longhorn--Mellow Mushroom proves that it CAN be done right. We love this Mellow Mushroom! They have a wonderful beer selection both draft and bottle. The pizza has always been good, and as a vegetarian I have so much to choose from on the menu. It can get busy at night, but the turn around is pretty quick. They have fun things like trivia on tuesdays and cider wednesdays. The Mellow Mushroom is a pretty cool atmosphere. They are themed around psychadelics as well as the atmosphere is rather entertaining for those (like me) who have lived that life in the past. They used to allow you to do online ordering, that was great when i wasn't able to get to them but had a craving for them, wish they'd bring that back...patio is great love it when the weather is nice.. There is pretty much nothing bad that one could say about this place... Except that it just isn't big enough! I've been to mellow mushroom restaurants all over town but for some reason this one is my favorite. The owners come in almost daily to make sure everything runs smoothly. Great tasting pizza by the slice, with almost anything you may want on it, even anchovies. The staff is quick, friendly and helpful. They have seating inside and outside, both roomy. The location is clean and spacious with a playful atmosphere, they have a few arcade games on hand. I want to share the amazing customer service recovery experience I had at this location. I had been craving Mellow Mushroom all week so our family decided to reward ourselves after a long week (on 1/25/19). We all order different pizzas so our order tends to be pricey. Upon picking up our order, my gluten free pizza looked nothing like it normally does. I showed the waitress the difference in my pizza and my husbands, with the difference being mine with fewer items due to allergies. Nevertheless, I am very familiar with how my pizza normally looks so I was not settling for anything less than what I had craved or paid for. The manager was called and he listened to me without an attitude and was quick to offer to remake it and accommodate us for my dissatisfaction... and all with a smile! I really appreciated after a long hard week not having to go back and forth with someone about wanting to receive a product that's comparable to what I paid for. I will continue to be loyal to this place simply because of this experience as long as they continue to meet this awesome standard. read more

Service not always on par but the food is always fresh and delicious. The interior is so crowded that its uncomfortable with other tables less than an arms length away. The entrance is crowded as well and theres no telling how long you will sit there waiting for someone to seat you. My kid loves the fact that she can be given ingredients and make her own pizza. I love this place. I just moved to the area 3 months ago and this is hands down my favorite. I've ordered takeout a few times and that was great, but dining in is even better. I've dined alone and sat at the bar by the kitchen. It's pretty entertaining to watch the pies being tossed and topped if you're there solo.
