My family regularly enjoys Mellow Mushroom in Little Rock and Fayetteville. We have one son that has Celiac, and MM does a good job with GF crust pizzas. Ate here on vacation. I cannot recommend this location at all. Our group of 7 ordered drinks and 5 pizzas. One GF pizza, but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. 40 minutes later, our server came back for the first time since taking our order. She brought me a refill and asked if we needed anything else. Uh, yes, the other 6 people at our table also need a refill. Then another server brings out two pizzas and starts talking to our server. I make out enough of the conversation to know: a) those pizzas have been there a while and b) something's not right. Our server comes to ask if "anyone told you about your order"? Uh, no. You are our server and we haven't seen you in 40 minutes. 2 of the 5 pizzas are ready. They are warm not hot. 1 of the 5 is wrong. 1 of the 5 they gave to another table. And the last one didn't get made at all. She asks what we want. I say the manager. He comes over and says he'll discount our meal and give us dessert. Then he says he'll check on our order and come back. He never comes back. About 5 minutes later our server delivers the rest of the pizzas and says "we took care of the whole bill" and walks off. I was recently on Vacation in Gulf Shores and talked my mom into stopping here one night to eat, all I can say is YUM!!! We ordered a Greek Salad that was absolutely delicious and a 16' pizza, 1/2 house special and 1/2 Crazy Chicken for my husband. I tried both half's and both were yummy!!! Great pizza! We ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and the mystery mellow pizza. They were both great! We also ordered margaritas as well. They were OK but a little sour compared to what we are used to. Our waitress was really nice and we were happy with the overall atmosphere and taste of the food. The prices were not too bad maybe a little on the high end for pizza, but since it was was really good I didn't mind paying a little extra for it. read more

We went even though some people were complaining about the crust, it was a unique crust, I found it similar to an "air-y" soft pretzel, and really good. We got a half Thai Dye and half Roasted Potato and both sides were really good. Drink specials aren't really that special price-wise. read more

The Kosmic Karma pizza was good but all I heard about was their great beer selection. I was dissapointed in the very limited selection and then when I ordered a specific draft they said it was not available. The one they brought did not have the right carbonation. I would estimate less than 20 beers for selection. read more

The manager/owner quickly responded to me, addressed my issues, made some new keys in his POS system, trained his staff on how to key in old menu items and completely fixed my concerns. I wish every owner responded to problems like he did and there would be 100% customer satisfaction everywhere! I will definitely keep going back as I have done since they opened around 15 years ago. First off I ordered a salad without olives and I got OLIVES. Which is fine until I got my pizza with onions (I ordered no onions) and the pizza WAS BLACK!!!! I couldn't over look those mistakes too. The second pizza we got was good but it should've been right the first time. read more

We were seated as soon as we walked in. We then had to wait about 10 mins. before anyone acknowledged that we were seated. Then we finally got to order our food and drinks at the same time. We even ordered an appetizer and didn't get it until right before the pizza was out. The pizza was very overlooked with some pieces being burned. This was my first time at a Mellow Mushroom. We were ordering take out and I attempted to use their website but I gave up, it was frustrating. So we walk in and the young lady behind the counter is clearly just never worked... anywhere? Before. She seems heck bent on seating us and we let her know we're getting it to go. She gets confused and leaves. It's another 3 minutes until anyone says anything and that's awkward. Finally We order our three topping pizza and it's $29 which is absolutely insane. We sign up for the email list and get free pretzel bites with beer cheese for it. They attempt to ring us up and there are problems. They give up and slide us over to the other register. The girl pulls up her shirt and sneezes and into it. I attempt to take my phone back so as to avoid sneeze hand from touching it but she botched the code entry (that I could simply read aloud) and proceeds to sneeze handle my phone. Finally she says "you're all set" and I have to ask "how long about?" And she literally does the arms out palms up shrugging thing! She has to ask and says about 25 minutes. While waiting they mix up some orders and are asking us to confirm what we ordered. The order takes exactly 25 minutes. We take it home. All up to this point is one star. However - the dough is dynamite. I also really like the sauce. The toppings weren't great and $6 for chicken is absurd. Maybe that kind of cheese flies down here but I'm from Wisconsin so nah. Food is delicious, but the long wait isn't fun with a kiddo. We love their hoagies, cheese bread, pretzels, and pizza! However if you order a pizza be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. The large pizza is a lot bigger than most, and their crust is totally different (in a good way). Not your typical pizza, it's amazing but hard to wait that long with an impatient and hungry child. Would order one to go but it's about $4-9 more for a large cheese pizza vs other area pizza places. read more

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our way back from shopping in Gulf Shores. We had the large House Special pizza -- pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions, green pepper, mushrooms, black olives, fresh tomato slices, bacon, ham and extra cheese priced at $22.50. The crust was very good, all of the ingredients fresh and plentiful -- altogether delicious! Even though it was late and we were really hungry, we could only finish half and took the rest home for another meal. We would definitely come here again and would probably order the same pizza. With two drinks each (wine and beer), our meal came to about $50, but we felt it was well worth the price and the service was also excellent. read more

Very friendly. Food always good at MM but this time i was shocked by a $50 bill for pizza, salad and bread sticks.

This Mellow Mushroom is responsible for starting my obsession with MM. While not the first MM I had been to, after Foley I wanted to try every one. A restaurant that caters to vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters is a rarity in of itself. Having all parties happy about the food, is almost nonexistent. The staff is wonderful. Management is friendly, attentive, and caring...this definitely shows in the wonderful atmosphere of this MM. read more

I don't normally take the time to review delivery experiences but mine was so good I had to! I'm in Foley without a car for the night staying at a local hotel. Not only was I able to order my favorite white pizza gluten free for delivery but I had my best delivery service to date. Because the delivery address was a hotel they packed plates, lots of napkins and extra utensils. Maybe that doesn't sound so spectacular but it was! Driver was great and I had my food quicker than promised. I was already a mellow mushroom fan but the addition of gluten free pies and my great delivery service had me bump this location up to 5 stars! read more

The food was fine, but it turned quickly into a fairly crappy experience. We placed a pick up order. The girl that checked us out was nice until it was time to pay. The total was $33. She was handed $40 & just stood there staring at me. I guess we looked confused because she fianlly asked "oh, did you want change? I can go in the back and get it if you want it" (not sure why the register thatvshe had just finished ringing someone up on wasn't efficient for this). Keep in mind that this was a pick up order, she literally took 10 steps to grab the food. This was so uncomfortable and insanely rude. We usually tip 35-40% no matter where we are. She guilts us into a $7 tip immediately. So quickly we couldn't process It. She was very manipulative and of all of the years going to Mellow, I believe that was the last. read more

Don't waste your time here. I don't know of any other resturaunt that manages to take and hour and a half to cook a pizza. Even if it is not busy, whatsoever. Don't come here. This Mellow Mushroom SUCKS. If Yelp allowed a 0 star review, this place would deserve it. read more

Great hand tossed pizza with a huge amount of toppings and combinations. Excellent beer selection with great prices. Make sure to try the pretzels beforehand, they're outstanding! Since we're back on the gulf coast we had to go to Mellow Mushroom! This is one of our favorite pizza joints. Not only is the pizza fantastic but the service excels too. Our waitress today, Wendy, kept our drinks filled and also gave us some great local advice. She was complementary of my daughter as soon as we got there.
