Trash service. All the female waitresses are ditzy and slow. First time here and it took 10 minutes for us to even get our drink orders. I never use this site to rate or comment my personal experience at a restaurant. In fact this is my first time, so for me to go out of my way to log in, and create this review speak monuments on my mediocre service. Food was good. That's all I can really say positive about this establishment. Everything else, ESPECIALLY the service, was atrocious. 4 waitresses....all of them making eye contact with me, and not a single one asked if we had been taken care of yet. I've been here at least 4 times now. It doesn't hurt that it's a quick drive from my place or that their food is AMAZING. My favorite item overall is the Pretzels with salt with the Turbodog Beer Cheese on the side. If you have not tried these, you are missing out. It's their delicious dough cooked up then dipped in butter and topped with chunky salt. I'm a salt fiend so to me this appetizer is HEAVEN. I've had several of the pizzas, including the Buffalo Chicken and the House Special, and every one has been full of tasty toppings and some special pizzaz. I love this place. I love mellow mushroom! I've been a fan since my college days in Boone where my friends and I would save up to go all out on pretzels and pizza on Friday nights! I was so happy to see this location, which as others mention, is conveniently located right off of interstate 95. We arrived at 630 on a Friday night and it was packed. 30 minute wait for a table for two. We were anxious to get back on the road so we sat at the bar and had our salad and pie there. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating. We were in and out in about 35 minutes, which made us very happy! We will be back when we are traveling through! read more

Went in last night because they had some live music. The music was awesome. I'm hoping they continue to incorporate music throughout the week. It was not too loud, but it gave the room a great vibe. The food is good but inconsistent. They have a real issue with the timing and getting the food out hot. Several times, one of our meals have come out "warm". This last visit, the pizza was not hot at all. It was obvious that the pizza was made and cooked. When done, they put my salad and bruschetta together. The pizza wasn't even edible. Just like all of the other Mellow Mushrooms the pizza is pretty good, but the service is horrible. The prices are outrageous as well. $25-$30 for a pizza is way too much. I would much rather go to one of the local pizza places. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I love mellow mushroom but this place isn't it. My family and I were seated and waited 15 minutes and the server didn't help us AT ALL. She passed by our table numerous times without saying anything and didn't acknowledge us even after I told the hostess we were not being served. I hate to be the one but we were the only black family in this establishment not being served while all the other newly arrived customers (white) were readily receiving drinks and service. I will NEVER come back to this place EVER again. We got up to leave and stopped to the supposed waitress to let her know her service was worse than horrible. She stated it was busy and continued to apologize. When we requested to speak with the manager he acted as if he didn't have time to hear what we had to say. Being busy is not an excuse to not at the least greet the table in your section. An unfortunate and unsatisfactory experience. There was a large variety of pizzas as well as vegan and gluten free choices. The food was great and the service was amazing! Our server Jacob did a great job serving our party of 13. the loaded pizza with all of the meat is extremely good. the only complaint I have is the timing of orders, takes an inordinate amount of time to get a pizza and my wait was due to oven not working properly. they should keep the customers infomed and take care of them with a comp of some sort. it was a bad night but one star added because the manager stopped by after I complained about waiting over an hour. needs a bit more coordination with the ordering process and telling customers what is happening. the pizza pretzel app had no pretzel look or taste so not sure what that item should taste like, certainly not a pretzel....would skip this item. great pizza is what one would expect from a high volume pizza unit, but meats were great and so was the sauce. A $20 pizza for a medium is a bit high and the noise level is too much volume. worth one trip but not my favorite go to pizza joint I have visited. manager, she was awesome as she listened to my comments. read more

The pizza was good, but was not what I had ordered. I opted to get the crust without butter and Parmesan, they put it on there anyways. Additionally, I thought the "Italian sausage" would have been slices of sausage, similar to pepperoni, but it was shredded bits of sausage that I had to hunt around to find on my pizza. This place is hit or miss as far as quality of employees...unless you sit at the bar. The bartenders and crowd are great and they have a good selection of beer. In the dining room, the food is great as long as you get a good server. The food at the bar is almost always spot on. However, the prices here are way too high and they don't offer any kind of specials. For a family of 5 to eat pizza, you're easily looking at $80-$90 if you get 2 pizzas and apps, along with drinks. Don't get me wrong, I love this place, but they have to lower the prices a bit and even offer a discount with Savannah Menu or offer a Military Discount. read more

I am visiting friends in America have come all the way from UK and this place was recommended to me for meals. When I went I order pizzas and few other items. The waiters and waitresses where rude and obnoxious and management was no better. The manager couldn't keep his eyes of my wife for the whole 2 hours we were there. I had food poisoning as well and the tables and chairs and cutlery were dirty as hell. Was sworn at 3 times by a waiter. The food was cold undercooked as well. As a two time visitor to this location, I must say I like the corporate standards being met in regard to food quality. Both times my pizzas were served fresh and tasteful. The staff is also attentive. I believe this location offers movie specials with dinner on set nights, so take advantage. As for prices for all stores, if the quality remains the way it has been for me, it's definitely worth paying more. read more

Environment is cool, decor is cool, staff is pretty good, and the location is convenient. The bar area is nice and when I go there the drinks were made pretty strong, which is a plus. But the prices are pretty ridiculous for what, at the end of the day, is still just pizza. I know it isn't going to be priced like little caesars due to the better ingredients and sit down environment, but it's still pricey enough to keep my wife and I from going there. I would rate it a two because of the prices but the decor and environment make up for it a little, so I think three is in order. read more

Average at best. Arrived at 3pm on Presidents' Day while driving home from Florida. Ordered a medium pie and a large Caesar salad. Both tasted good and worth the price.
