This is an awesome location and nice inside and outside seating. Awesome pizza! However we ordered a small salad to munch on before our pizza came it was brought quickly but we had no forks and it took forever to flag down our waitress. Once we did I started eating it. The salad was great until I found a lady bug in it! I asked for a manager and told him and he asked if I wanted a fresh one and I said no. Still our waitress brought one anyways and I didn't say anything just pushed it to the side and waited on the pizza. Once it came the food runner made a joke saying he dropped it on the floor. We ate and the pizza was awesome. Once the check came I was expecting no salad on there and maybe even a discount on the pizza. To my surprise the salad was on there and nothing was discounted. I gave it back to the waitress and said tell the manager I'm not paying for that salad. The manager brought it back and said sorry he planned to take that off but he was busy. So with that we paid and left. This could easily have been a totally different review if the situation would have been handled correctly. read more

We visited on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy. The park next door had entertainment, and parking was also hard to come by (although I lucked out across the street). Service was, at best, average. Although he was friendly, the service was slow; the hosts seated the entire patio all at once, so the guy was slammed and didn't get much support from anyone else to help out. The food was what we expected, and the gluten free pizza was gluten free. :) There didn't seem to be any contamination issues with it; the member of our party with Celiac is very sensitive to it, and didn't have any reaction. read more

The Mellow Mushroom located in Suwanee Town Center is fabulous! I always go on Tuesday nights for trivia (1st, 2nd and 3rd place get MM gift cards). All the waiters and waitresses are friendly, and own up to their mistakes if they make any. Did you get an entree salad instead of a side salad? That's okay, they'll only charge you for the one you ordered. They also have a beer club that's much easier to earn prizes than other beer clubs out there (ie: Taco Mac). Their beer list is huge, and often have $2.50 draft specials. Overall, definitely my favorite place to go on Tuesday nights (and one of my favorite restaurants in general). MM has been around since I was a kid and im certainly not a kid anymore. And over the years it has been without a doubt the most consistently good pizza I've ever had. So I visited this restaurant a few months back and gave it top ratings, that has now changed... Around 2:30 today my wife and I stopped in to enjoy a pizza, we waited at the front area to be seated, the restaurant wasn't busy, we saw only one table occupied, a waitress dropped the check off at the table directly in front of us, and asked it they needed 1 or 2 boxes, then walked away not even making eye contact, no hello, welcome, or I'll be right with you...we waited a few minutes and none of the staff approached us so we thought they expected us to seat ourselves. We walked to a booth and remained standing, to be certain we were seen, in the aisle that leads from the kitchen to the outside seating area, one waitress (I assume) walked into the area where the beer is served, not one word spoken towards us. While my wife remained standing at the table while I visited the restroom, when I returned two staff walked around us with a stack of pizza boxes to a bus group that had arrived a few minutes prior, still not one word, after a few more minutes had having had very brief eye contact with three of the staff, and still not one effort made to acknowledge us, we decided to leave. In retrospect I think I should have asked to speak with the manager, however I don't believe I could have been polite at that point as I felt this was absolutely the worst customer service one could imagine, and felt that it's best I choose to not do business with Mellow Mushroom again. read more

This place is great for their eclectic atmosphere and GF options. Love how they keep the sides in the back separate for the sensitive customers. And their decor and music is off the chain fun. Great location for families as you can walk outside and BOOM at Suwanee Town Center with a big grass area and ground fountains (dog friendly area as well). read more

After venturing out into the cold, we decided to go to our local MM for a quick dinner. Requested a booth and was told none were avail, although there was one clearly empty and clean. Then I order a pizza with Italian Sausage and Ricotta cheese, which was clearly missing the ricotta, despite the cooks claiming that it was cooked into the pizza. When they redid the pizza, it was loaded with excessive ricotta...I guess their way a proving that it was on there this time. Hello everyone! Let's begin with this review of mellow mushroom in Suwanee. Mellow mushroom as most of you know is a chain restaurant of "gourmet pizza" with that being said this is one of the worst locations I've been too. First of the staffing is very young, rude, tattoos all over the the place( face, neck, arms, etc....) which is forbidden at places like Chick-fil-A and now I know why. They must not conduct in person interview. Upon ordering I was not greeted, instead " what's up" I should have known it was a problem....the previous individual who had placed a to go order had already waited 40 mins( wait time was 20) at 3:00 p.m on a Wednesday. My order took 45 mins...I had a meatball trio, wings plain, and pretzel. I went to use my birthday coupon for 10 dollars but it was wasted due to unprofessionalism at its highest. I will now make the extra 15 min to the JOHNS CREEK location where I've had nothing less than stellar service. Thanks mellow for an unpleasant experience!!!!! read more

I love the food at this place. I've never had anything I didn't love. My go to is the mighty meat pizza. The staff at this location is excellent. Kenzie is the best behind the bar, she always helps me get my beer club credits even when I don't like any of the rotating beers. Their beer selection is almost endless. This place is awesome. Mellow Mushroom has some of the best pizza in Gwinnett. Located right in the heart of Suwanee at Suwanee Town Center. They have trivia nights on Tuesday nights @ 7! (We won tonight!!!!) Prices are fairly good and so is the service. The only hit is it took about 25 minutes to get seated because the place is fairly small. read more

This place has great pizza. I have eaten here many times in the past 6 years. I recently became a vegan and they are more than accommodating to my dietary needs. What a big dissapointment. Been to many MM but this one takes the cake. Such a big let down. Let's start with the pizza dough which looked and tasted diff. I get the feeling that the dough is old or was made awhile back and should have been discarded. Only reason I think this is bc we orders the pretzel and they use the same dough as the pizza to make this and we didn't touch it after couple bites. It was bluntly obvious it was the same dough used on the pizza too.. but that was not the only let down since we ordered extra cheese on the pizza and there was barely any cheese on it. I had this place in Florida so I had my hopes high! The wait staff was amazing but the pizza was not what i had hoped. Mellow Mushroom is consistently delicious and a fun dining experience. I got married last summer and asked Mellow Mushroom in Suwanee Town Center to cater our very casual rehearsal dinner. Dinner was delicious! We had a couple of catering salads and several different types of pizza. Our families and out of town guests enjoyed the food and, maybe more importantly for me, it arrived hot and on time. My "Pizza Man", Kevin McLane, advised me about ordering for a large group, made recommendations, delivered it himself and created a buffet for our guests. I placed an order today for 5 large pizza for my employees. Normally, I am ahead of the game and ensure I give any location plenty of notice but amidst all the chaos I ended up ordering last minute. I spoke to Whitney, who was an absolute PLEASURE to speak to! She was quick, efficient and very professional. My order was super simple until I had asked for a large amount of cookies! She placed me on a quick hold to verify they had enough I had requested and unfortunately they would not have enough for my order but did say if I wanted to wait they would be happy to BAKE FRESH ONES! This was amazing to me and I knew how much my team would appreciate having dessert after some pizza so opted to go this route since the pizzas had to cook anyways. I walked in and was greeted very warmly by Whitney who had me smiling and laughing while she checked me out. I waited only a few mins before a gentleman came out (Kevin but not 100% sure) to bring the freshly baked cookies out in a nice catering box and then helped me to my car with all of the pizza boxes. This was my first time ever ordering from MM for my business but if this is how the GM, Elias, runs this location I can assure you that I will be back a lot more! Eclectic, friendly ambiance, great pizza, good service and good beer on tap! The outside area is nice and our 8 year old girls were handled with care with their own table. For some reason this hasn't shown up on yelp or google yet. I added my guess at the address. Awesome pizza! Consistent. Tonight we enjoyed two tried and true favorites: Holy Shitake + bacon and Thai Dye. Thai Dye is a summer favorite with cucumbers, chicken, tomatoes and sweet chili.
