So my disclaimer is...I'm fully aware that I was just at another Mellow Mushroom location over the past weekend (don't judge me) BUT I came across this location in Suwanee and I wanted to catch their lunch special and get a slice (opposed to a full pizza). Generally I always miss the 2pm deadline, but today I caught it just 20 mins shy of the cutoff. The lunch special is $8.50 for 2 slices and a drink. Any special toppings come with an additional charge, but it's still better than buying a full pizza as it can get super expensive with multiple toppings...believe me. In addition, the lunch slices are a pretty good size, so for most it only takes one. I ordered two, thinking I could eat them, but I still have an entire slice left that I'm taking home with me. This place is very clean and much more modern/updated than the previous location I visited. It's located inside of Suwanee Town Center, and there's plenty of open parking nearby. Great atmosphere...everyone was friendly, and Lex (the day manager) took good care of me at the bar! This location will definitely be my 'go to' from now on. read more

Was pleasantly surprised with this place. Came here to experience the city hall and stumbled upon this gem. Because I'm dairy free, I was hesitate to eat here, however was convinced to try it anyway. Ordered the mighty meaty with daiya cheese and was Amazed how they did with the food, bc it was really good. The bar has a great concept. . I fully understand the current situation may delay service or cause longer wait times. Nonetheless, after waiting 30 minutes to be seated, the expectation is to be acknowledged. We waited another 30 minutes for a waiter or waitress. I even ask someone to alert our table's waitress that we were ready. When no one showed up, we walked out. At the minimum, acknowledge that we are there. I would have been fine with a brief explanation for the delay and maybe an opportunity to order drinks. read more

Me and a coworker went during lunch hour and placed an order to go and was told it would be ready in 15 min. It wasn't, but it was understandable because it was lunch hour...No pressure. Got our order and left to find out our order was wrong and they forgot to add chicken to the salads. Once again, mistakes happen, it was probably lost in the long order or communication. Then, my coworker opens the box and the first thing we see are flies (yes, plural) in one of the Greek salads!! Tried to call and speak to someone but couldn't get through because I was informed they turn there phones off at lunchtime. When I finally got through, I told the woman about the bugs in the food, and requested a refund. The woman asked what kind of bug it was? Not sure why that mattered, but I told her it was a fly. She said, "ok, sounds about right. We do have a bug problem in the middle of the day due to the heat." So if you're planning to eat here, just know that bugs in your food is normal for them and they don't really do too much about it. This is our first time here and probably last time. We ordered pizza and it took 40 mins. 2 other oarite next to us came after 15 mins but we all got pizza same time. Worst part was Pizza was burnt out. It taste really bad. We informed server and he didn't care much. We walked in and called in manager. Service and food were poor. Mellow Mushrooms are each different - varying drink specials and draft beers, etc. This location falls in the middle of the pile as far as Mellow Mushrooms go. They don't have enticing drink specials, the bar is small, they do not have sriracha, and the space is not lit well. However, they have many rotating, local drafts and the setting is more intimate than many other enormous echoing locations. I think they have a gay bartender or two - points for diversity. Generally, the restaurant chain has many vegan options and, usually, if you order vegan cheese they ask if you also want to skip the cheese and butter on their crust. I appreciate the consciousness in small town Georgia. Great, thick creamy balsamic dressing It's an unpretentious spot for something very casual, picky eaters or people with allergies, and draft beers. Giving them a two-star rating. The food was incredible! Ordered a Great White and a Greek Salad. But the service at this location was terrible. We were there for two hours and didn't have to wait to get in. Our server was working only two tables and would disappear for long periods of time. We even saw him sitting at the bar watching football for about 30 minutes while trying to get his attention. I love Mellow Mushroom in general, though. read more

This Mellow Mushroom is in a great spot at the Suwanee Town Center. It is a chain. The food and service are both good so no complaints there. We were in a bit of a time crunch at lunch time and he food came out in decent time, so we were happy. The only complaint we had was that our bill came out incorrect. But that is really no big deal. The Caesar Pizza is underrated and orgasmic. Delicious combination of chicken pesto pizza with chicken Caesar salad on top. Sounds nasty but tastes delicious. I can't remember the last time when I had mellow mushroom pizza. Come to think of it, this might be my very first time. I didn't dine in but I order something to go~ half cheese and half salami! I added a house salad for the wife~ I have to admit, this was really good pizza. There was something about the pizza dough that was really good. You will notice it isn't your typical white flour bread. Whatever it was, it was good! The salad was good too. Since its location at swannee town center, its a perfect place to picnic. Came here for my daughter's friend's birthday party. I'm not a huge fan of chains, but hey, it's a for a party. We sat outside on the patio, which was a bit muggy but it's always nice to be able to sit outside versus in. The service was good, but the pizza was just okay for me. I do love their pizza sauce, but without asking for extra, I'd never have even finished my slice. They offer other things than pizza, like hoagies, salads, calzones, and they have appetizer things such as hummus and pretzels. The pretzels are really good! I've had them before...add pizza sauce and some parmesan and they are even better! They also serve alcoholic beverages for those inclined. Our server for our rather large party was just excellent; very personable, smiling and talking to us and interacting with our little granddaughter, he was great! by far one of the Better MM's & I'm very lucky to have in my town. first off it's located in Suwanee town center! which is a plus, I love the shopping center. it tends to have a good selection of restaurants. Mellow mushroom is one of them. Interior is awesome! Talk about a throw back full of fun! The awesome characters, photos and decorations through out the restaurant give it a welcoming vibe not to mention a "cool" touch. They have both booths and tables. & a patio section if the day is nice. :) the booths are comfortable. Next the menu is awesome. They've been revamping it lately-they're trying out burgers! The service is always always great! :) and the food is delicious. The crust on the pizza is my favorite! I could eat just the crust.- my hips my not like that but my mouth would! The also have a bar with a great selection of beverages! They serve numerous beers on tap which is always a good thing! This location has events like karaoke or trivia on certain days. Be sure to check online! :) & sign up for their rewards program. If you're looking for a laid back restaurant that is fun any day of the week and yummy- try this mellow mushroom. This Mellow Mushroom has done a great job so far. Located at the Suwannee town center this Mellow Mushroom is hard to miss with its prominent sign . The interior is covered with what can best be described as a "weird Psychedelic hallucination". The space itself is not very big resulting in a bit of a cramped feeling. A common lunch spot for my co-workers and other professionals in the area the mellow mushroom dose get a bit crowed but never packed. On the other had if there is even the most insignificant event at the town center all hell breaks loose and it will be packed. If one is eating lunch alone then I suggest getting a hoagie. I do need to warn you that the hoagies do take a bit of time. I was surprised the first time I had one they are actually really good. But they do commit one act of sacrilege, the side is a bag of chips! The bag included!!!! Oh hell no! Otherwise can't miss with the hoagie. If you are eating with a group for lunch I suggest a salad or one of the lunch combinations. The food comes out relatively quickly and the portions are big. I've never tried it but I've heard the Esperanza dressing is amazing! It's apparently one of those things that the internet is trying to figure out. Lastly if you're eating dinner I suggest reading another review. I'm sorry I've only picked up a pizza from this place for dinner. I'm what you would call a "Frequent Shroomer". Not only is the food great (Magical Mystery Tour pizza or the Jerk Chicken hoagie.... EPIC) but the servers are all down-to-earth, friendly and awesome. They have a tasty selection of beers on tap. Not too many to choose from, like Taco Mac, but something for everyone (and you can taste them before you buy...FYI). I've never been there where I didn't end up laughing and joking with the employees. I eat here all the time and love it! After returning week after week and getting to know a few of the employees in the process, I can say the negative reviews I've read thus far are ridiculous! I've been eating here since 2009 and I've never... ever... had a beer in a plastic cup, a salad with too much dressing or a server who wasn't fun, friendly or unwilling to fix any issue I may have had. There was a BUG in our food and nothing was done about it. The food at Mellow Mushroom is great (but overpriced) and the waiters/ waitresses are always great. Our waitress tonight (Brooke) was awesome. But when the manager was told there was a bug in our food nothing was done about it. No discount and no apology (except from our waitress). The manager should have come and apologized and at least given us a discount (I would have comped the whole meal if I was the manager). There was a bug that literally crawled out of our food. So gross. UPDATE: An employee commented on this apologizing for a bug crawling *into* our food because we were on the patio. It crawled *OUT* of our food. It wasn't a flying bug and it crawled out of a pretzel moments after the plate was set on the table. Also, the "apology" from the employee was more of an excuse than an apology. This is an awesome location and nice inside and outside seating. Awesome pizza! However we ordered a small salad to munch on before our pizza came it was brought quickly but we had no forks and it took forever to flag down our waitress. Once we did I started eating it. The salad was great until I found a lady bug in it! I asked for a manager and told him and he asked if I wanted a fresh one and I said no. Still our waitress brought one anyways and I didn't say anything just pushed it to the side and waited on the pizza. Once it came the food runner made a joke saying he dropped it on the floor. We ate and the pizza was awesome. Once the check came I was expecting no salad on there and maybe even a discount on the pizza. To my surprise the salad was on there and nothing was discounted. I gave it back to the waitress and said tell the manager I'm not paying for that salad. The manager brought it back and said sorry he planned to take that off but he was busy. So with that we paid and left. This could easily have been a totally different review if the situation would have been handled correctly. read more
