Melo melo has a nicer clean shop next to 99 Ranch in Milpitas. The service was pretty fast and friendly, but all they needed to do was hand us the preassembled jars of coconut jelly and fruit. The mango rice jar and the dragon fruit jar were both really good. They have nice sweet fruit which nicely complement the coconut jelly. It's very refreshing.

I'll preface this with saying I'm a huge coconut fan so I might be a bit bias, but any day with a melo melo in hand is a good day. I came here with my cousins and friends so we got to try a few different flavors. Taste: We noticed that the flavors with more fruits tended to be sweeter. Overall most of them were quite sweet and larger. Definitely can be a heftier dessert, but still light. Parking: Plaza parking in a huge plaza Service: This was fast since most of the coconut puddings are already made ahead of time. I was shocked by how quickly they handed me my puddings after finishing our order.

Had Melo Melo a few times. First time at this location! Two of us ordered: osmanthus oolong oat $10.99 vegan mango puree coconut $10.99 Overall, pretty good experience on flavor profile standpoint. Definitely on pricier end for dessert. Plaza can get busy during peak hours.

Finally got to try their coconut dessert based in SoCal! The Rose Pistachio Coconut Pudding was unique with rose jelly and creamy pistachio. It was expensive for a jar. Love the store layout and the beautiful display. The service was fast and they're kind to offer a bag for takeout. You can keep the glass jars or leave it above their trash bin after finish eating. I'll splurge here for a special occasion dessert.

If you are a coconut dessert liver, Melo melo is a must try. We tried mango puree , mango chunks, rose pistachios coconut and mango Oreo and every single dessert was amazing. Each dessert felt fresh, and beautiful presented. No doubt this is one of the best coconut dessert spot i have tried. Highly recommend this place. They have beautiful ambiance with fast service.

I heard about Melo Melo and didn't realize there was one in Milpitas, since I thought they were only in Southern California. I'm so happy it's here in the Bay Area. Anyway, I tried the Oreo matcha, and it was amazing. Not too sweet. The same goes for the sweet mango coconut--it was the perfect combo. I definitely recommend trying these flavors.

Their coconut puddings are A-mazing! They're smooth, flavorful and refreshing! I went on a Sunday around 9:15pm, when they're about to close, and there was still a line out the door! Some were sold out but there were still so many flavors to choose from. I went with the mango puree and the durian. The durian costed a little more but I think it was worth it! The fruit flavors went well with the coconut flavor! Absolutely delicious! One cool thing about this shop is that they recycle their jars. If you bring back 10 clean undamaged glass Melo Melo jars, you'll get a free jasmine coconut! I can't wait to go back to try their other flavors!

Melo melo will forever be my fav spot for coconut dessert :) I get the yellow dragon fruit, always super refreshing! Space was nice, clean, bright, good amount of seating. Worker was friendly and answered my questions! Always a great option to bring to families as it is not too sweet Located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking!

Who knew coconut desserts could taste so good! Any with many vegan options this is a great place. The joint was upscale and has a modern vibe - well lit. Service is counter service and polite. My favorite is the Mango vegan option. It's nice and smooshy without being overly sweet. My only grouse is at $11-15 per jar, this is an expensive dessert, so make sure you make good use of that to-go bag and reuse the jar multiple times to get the most out of what you paid!

Delicious snack as always! Love how their jellies have great, deep flavor and there's different jelly thicknesses in each dessert which adds more texture. Light and refreshing deserts. Parking can be difficult in this plaza during peak times. I normally come late after dinner time to avoid lines and easily get parking.

2/14/26 Valentine's Day I kept hearing about this place and wanted to spoil my boys with dessert so came in and grabbed $70 worth to go! These are kinda pricey. I wasn't able to get pics of everything before my boys devoured it! Hand down family fave was the triple coconut. My oldest seemed to like the matcha. I tried the taro and it was ok. My youngest liked the mango coconut. We also got the coconut mango and purple rice (sunset mango). Ingredients seem clean and straight forward. Service was ok. I love the decor and aesthetic feels coming in. They have such cute bags and jars! We ordered to go. Be careful as a couple of my jars were not tight so it spilled in the bags when the staff packed it. If we're in the area, I'd come back but not sure if I'd go out of my way! I like that they have vegan options!

Melo melo never misses. If you're a coconut lover, definitely give this a try. I always get the mango, dragon fruit, or the strawberry. It's not too sweet and you get to keep the cute jars.

I thought that this would be more creamy but it's coconut jelly. It's pretty good but I don't know if it's worth it. It's pretty light which is nice but at the end of the day, it's coconut jelly with some other things on it. I still enjoyed it though.

The design was so classy, elegant, and truly above my expectations. You can really see the care and creativity that went into making it. My husband was so happy when he saw it, and it made the celebration even more special for us. I also want to give a special thanks to the manager at the San Jose location. When I mentioned that we would be traveling in the car for about 7 hours, they were so kind and helpful in giving us options to make sure the cake would stay perfect during the trip. Their suggestion worked so well! Overall, I am beyond satisfied with both the cake and the wonderful customer service. Highly recommend! Thank you for making our celebration extra special.

We walked into a space that is clearly geared toward takeout rather than sitting down, with a sleek, minimalist interior that matches the refined approach of the desserts themselves. Rather than offering a huge bakery case filled with dozens of options, the attention here is on carefully crafted cakes, particularly their signature mille crêpe cakes, and the setup makes it easy to pick up and go without feeling rushed. The mille crêpe cakes are the reason to visit. Each slice is made up of delicate layers that feel light and refined rather than dense or overly rich. What stood out most was the balance of sweetness. The cakes are sweet enough to feel indulgent but restrained enough that the individual flavors still come through clearly. We tried the Hokkaido Milk cake, which was especially memorable with a clean dairy flavor and smooth texture that highlighted the quality of the cream. The tiramisu version added a deeper coffee-forward profile, with the espresso notes coming through without overwhelming the delicate layers. The matcha crêpe cake delivered a genuine matcha flavor that was not buried under sugar, maintaining the earthy, slightly bitter notes that matcha lovers look for. Beyond the flavors themselves, the texture is what makes these cakes special. The layers are thin, consistent, and soft, creating a delicate bite that feels different from a traditional cake. There is a noticeable amount of care in the execution, and the desserts feel thoughtfully made rather than mass-produced. Even the presentation is elegant, with clean slices and polished packaging that makes them a great choice for birthdays, anniversaries, or other celebrations where presentation matters as much as taste. Service was straightforward and efficient, and the ordering process felt easy whether we were picking up individual slices or whole cakes. The staff handled the takeout flow smoothly, and the packaging kept the cakes secure during transit. The desserts are definitely on the premium side when it comes to pricing, but the craftsmanship and attention to detail help explain the cost, especially when you consider the labor involved in creating the thin, consistent layers. Anton feels like a place that specializes in celebrating special occasions. The mille crêpe cakes are the highlight, with delicate layers, balanced sweetness, and flavors that feel carefully developed. If you are looking for a dessert that feels a little more refined than a standard bakery cake, this is the kind of place that is worth seeking out, whether for a celebration or just a moment of indulgence.

My husband and I visited while waiting for a table at Flaming Ox, the restaurant next door. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the cashier and we browsed around leisurely looking at all the different food items. This establishment is small, but there are so many different offerings: pineapple cakes (a Taiwanese staple), chili oil, tea, coffee, ice cream, and so much more. I'd really love to come back here and try out the more unique foods like their rice cakes and mung bean ice cream, but my husband and I got a notification that our table was ready so we went to eat our lunch. We returned after our meal and were greeted again. We looked at all the pineapple cakes again because my family enjoys them so much and my husband wanted to gift them a box for a Christmas present. All of the boxes are so beautifully designed and we finally settled on one. The cashier was very kind and talked to us about the iTaiwan membership and how to get the most benefits out of it. She also packaged the pineapple cakes in a cute bag for us for free! A very cozy story run by cute people. I will most definitely visit again.

We got ice cream as a dessert after getting some AYCE BBQ and this was the perfect place to get something that's sweet but not too sweet. Decent amount of parking and I love the photo op statue and the cute ice cream cone seats they have outside too. Love the little bit of personality there. There's seating and tables inside and if you want to try a flavor, they're more than happy to let you sample them. Customer service is friendly and they STACK the scoops of ice cream. Got a triple scoop and we had to get lids and take it to go since it was so much ice cream. More than enough to share and take home as leftovers. Our friend got a croffle and loved it. They also have boba drinks, ice cream cakes, and ice cream pints too. Make sure to call in advance just in case. For our triple scoop, we got the: 1) Lychee Rose: -Real lychee with rose water flavor. -Sweet lychee flavor with an ending note of rose water. Very elegant and complex flavor and definitely something I would expect from a fancy artisanal ice cream place. Good stuff and definitely recommend if you're a rose flavor fan. Not artificial or overbearing like other rose flavored items. 2) Peach Oolong: -Subtle taste of oolong tea with the sweetness of white peaches. -It's a very Asian inspired flavor and reminds me of those yummy peach oolong boxed teas that you can get from the Asian market. -This was my favorite of the 3 and I devoured this one first (after taking it back as leftovers). Definitely will get this again. 3) Pina Colada: -Creamy coconut with real pineapple chunks inside. -Not tart whatsoever, you get a fresh burst of pineapple taste from the chunks, but it's largely a coconut flavor ice cream with the subtle taste of pineapple. Refreshing, tropical summer flavor. All of their ice cream is super smooth, creamy, with a velvety texture. Even putting in the freezer and enjoying 1-2 days after, still great quality.
