Place had a long line we arrived but it moved quickly and I was super surprised by how quickly we got our order after we placed our order. We got a tropical sunrise (less sugar), matcha coconut cold brew, and a mango mochi coconut pudding. Overall, everything taste great and was good quality, but the price point is a bit high. I didn't taste much coffee in the cold brew but there were hints of coconut water that came through every now and again. No complaints about the tropical sunrise which was smooth and flavorful without being bitter or overly sweet! For the pudding, the layer of mochi in the coconut pudding was yummy but wasn't crazy about the texture and would probably skip this next time. read more

Today I ordered the same things again: 1. Coco Ice Bomb (not sweet) 2. Melon Melody 3. Original Coconut Pudding This is my favorite store. If you like fresh blended coconut drinks, you definitely have to try this place. Their coconut pudding is also really good. I haven't tried the other flavors yet because I love the original the most. The shop isn't very big, but the atmosphere is bright, clean, and lively, especially with people coming in and out ordering drinks. You can order with a staff member or use the self-order machine, which makes it convenient. Just be prepared to wait in line, especially on weekends because it gets pretty busy. Tong Sui, is a cute little shop with an order and go. There's no room to mingle and a small bench on the side. People order by kiosk and they're very efficient with pushing the drinks out as quickly as possible. It has really great drinks, enough selection which doesn't feel overwhelming to the eyes. I tried their durian drink and their durian dessert, I was not disappointed! It is not overpowering but I do like durian though. I tried their matcha it wasn't as strong as I'm use to but it was still good. My friend loves the Pattaya drink. We have not changed our drinks since we came months ago. I gave it minus 1 star bc for a drink place and dessert place is really pricey. I understand that they use real ingredients, but over $10 for a small dessert with mostly coconut pudding and a small topping and $8-$10 for a drink. The drinks have lots of ice which you can't modify to little or no ice. You can modify the sweetness, which I appreciate. Also, I forgot to mention their coconut pudding mostly has dairy and not vegan friendly since they use gelatin. I can only get a few flavors limited to their dairy free option. So if you're lactose, beware! Overall, I do enjoy this drink/dessert place for quality and the freshness of their ingredients, but the price doesn't cut it for me. read more

Their prices are a little higher than some other spots in SJ (ranging from ~$13 to $19 pre-tax), and I don't think the quality of the bingsoo is noticeably better to justify the price. I tried a pricier one (the premium strawberry), and found it to be quite good, but not $20 good. Plus, some aspects seem designed more for pictures than for eating. The little cheesecake slice is a bit hard because it's cold and difficult to eat with the shaved ice. That said, their bingsoo does taste good! The fruit tasted fresh and sweet, and the portion was enough for me to share with my partner. I may not be back immediately in the future, but I wouldn't mind visiting again. I would probably stick to the lower-priced options myself, though. We returned after our meal and were greeted again. We looked at all the pineapple cakes again because my family enjoys them so much and my husband wanted to gift them a box for a Christmas present. I tried their new seasonal drink Devil sesame last weekend. The black sesame is very rich, topping is mochi, it is very soft. They mainly sell coconut pudding,mango mochi is my favorite. They use champagne mangoes, which I really like because champagne mangoes are notoriously sweet! Earl Grey coconut pudding is also very good, if you like Earl Grey tea, it is worth trying. Recently they have a new pumpkin flavored coconut pudding, soft and sweet taste is very good. Upon ordering a drink with cheese, I asked the cashier if it was possible to have the cheese on the side. The cashier kindly checked with his coworker in white pants, who not only declined the request but also proceeded to laugh and discuss the seemingly absurd nature of the request. The coworker seemed dismissive, laughing, and repeatedly emphasized the impossibility of putting the cheese on the side. As a customer, I felt uncomfortable with the lack of customer service and the dismissive attitude displayed by the staff member. In hindsight, I should've gotten the ube ice cream upgrade as that would've made this dessert taste a 110%. The desserts we got were the Ube Leche Flan Cupcake and Ube Crack Cheesecake. These desserts were just as impressive. Soft and flavorful without being too indulgent. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Absolutely loved everything from our first visit at Café 86! The drink has the perfect combination of juicy fresh mango, creamy coconut milk, and tea jelly. Every sip is packed with real mango flavor, and it never tastes artificial or overly sweet. It's so refreshing and easily one of my favorite drinks ever. The staff are also some of the kindest people. They're always so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their customers. I honestly wish this place got more attention. They're not in the most visible location, so I feel like a lot of people don't even know they're there. It has freshly brewed tea with pineapple bits, pineapple jam, and thinly slices of lime lemon apple. I really enjoy sipping on it on a hot day and scooping out the fruit with the fork after the tea has been consumed. The teas are always brewed according to what the best extraction would be and the team is always friendly and welcoming. Efficient and clean, it's always a treat to go! On the weekends or during peak hours, the line is out the door and it can get really busy, so keep that in mind when you make a visit! There are tables available with outlets and a restroom, and they have a few board games you can play with friends if you plan to hangout here. I don't recommend trying to study here during peak hours because there have been times we have visited where it gets really loud and it is hard to hear conversations. The price does add up but it's a nice sweet treat to have whenever you are in the area!

Ordering system is pretty straight forward. The fruit tea options are good. I'd like them to bring back the pineapple tea. At the moment they turned it into a slushy which are meh. The slushies have chunks of ice in them which is a turn off. The mixed fruit tea and lychee fruit tea are good. The grapefruit tea definitely needs sugar added. All their teas are not sweet and probably why the lowest sweetness they have is 30 percent. Prices are reasonable. A new favorite in the area.
