The quality of the contents is great! Our experience was odd because we ordered on their kiosk then were basically forgotten about. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they needed to make/assemble the order. After 10-15 minutes I asked them how long it generally takes. They asked if XYZ was my order and pulled it from the case where it was already prepped and sitting from before we arrived (so they saw it but didn't complete it during that time). Again, the quality of the product was great but the service was disappointing considering we were the only people in the store.

the coconut desserts are really good. some flavors are a miss but you can never go wrong with a mango coconut. outdoor seating available

Delicious! Not too busy on a weekday afternoon. Very bright, airy, and aesthetic interior. Ordering trim the kiosk was simple. Efficient service - our dessert came out immediately. So rich and delicious despite not having dairy. Thanks, Mark for sharing. Packaging is top tier as well. Recommended!

Having a store dedicated to coconut jelly is different. I purchased the mango coconut jelly and sesame coconut jelly. The mango jelly came with fresh fruit. The sesame coconut jelly had a couple of walnuts and a black nutty sesame paste. Both were light, not overly sweet and refreshing. I preferred the mango coconut since the flavor was more balanced. These desserts are costly partly due to the packaging (glass containers that are reusable) and prime space and location in the UTC mall. The store is small, airy, bright and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I enjoy the mango coconut -- fresh, not too sweet, and clean-tasting. The yogurt itself is super light and smooth, almost tastes like a crossover between yogurt and the Asian soft tofu dessert. If you like delicate textures rather than thick or tangy yogurt, this will be right up your alley. They also have a bunch of options and toppings to choose from. It is pretty pricey for what you get, which is why I'm knocking off a star. Still, it's a nice treat once in a while, especially on a warm day. Would come back when I'm in the mood for something refreshing and not too heavy.

If you don't like desserts that are "too sweet" this might be the place for you. It definitely feels and tastes healthy. The coconut base is addicting. However, it is super expensive. It's $12 for one glass cup (which you can keep) but that's too much for the amount you get. I wish it was cheaper otherwise I would get it all the time. The service is great though for sure.

One of my favorite desserts to get! I've tried a few flavors now and my consistent favorite is sunset mango which is the coconut pudding, purple rice, and mango - reminds me a lot of mango sticky rice! Sooo good. They have other unique flavors that I like to sometimes rotate in but my go to is definitely sunset mango. Staff are friendly and service is really quick even when there's a line.

Melo Melo never fails to impress me plenty. The shop's aesthetic is pure elegance and chic, the quality is amazing, and the freshness? Perfection. They keep things exciting with a steady stream of creative new products and flavors that always feel like a treat. The friendly, on-point staff make every visit a vibe, serving up smiles as fresh as their goodies !!

First had this in the east bay and is a nice but expensive dessert. You're basically paying for the glass jar and the pink bag it comes with. Even so, it's a great and light dessert. This location is in Westfield Mall and took a while to find it. My wife had the avocado coconut but tried my taro one and wanted to order mine for the road. There's a digital pad you can order if you know what you want and pay there. Once order went thru, we got it within a minute. Pre made for sure. We love this dessert. Favorite based on employee is the Mango and the taro

First time here at this MeloMelo Coconut Dessert location at Westfield UTC in San Diego. Both my daughters and I arrived towards closing time. A few other customers were also here getting their coconut jello dessert. Cool! I am all for dessert any time of the day and night LOL. It's a cute place. Love their soft peach theme color! Lady staff who took my order was very friendly and helpful. I asked her what were her favorite flavors. She said the staff pick has been oreo matcha and sunset mango coconut. Thank you miss! I'll have to try them one day. We went with our go-to(s)... 2 coconut double, 1 mango coconut, 1 oreo cream. Durian coconut is one of my favorites. I didn't get it this time around... will have to catch it next time. I love the smooth and wiggly texture of the coconut jelly. They are not overly sweet which is perfect. What I like about the fruit ones is that they use real fruits. Thank you! Prices can be on the higher end, but it's worth every penny! Highly recommend for the coconut connoisseur! If you're not a big fan of coconut, still give it a try and see if you like it or not. You never know... it may surprise you. We'll definitely be back for sure the next time we're at Westfield UTC. Happy Coconut'ing!

The staffs were friendly and attentive. The service was quick. Not that many tables inside. What stood out the most was the freshness of the food. Everything looked vibrant and delicious. We got durian coconut, cream Oreo, ube and mango!

This was a refreshing and delicious treat after a few hours of shopping at the UTC Mall. We ordered the Mango Puree Coconut and the Mango River. Both were equally delicious .The Mango Purée Coconut was like coconut puddling with chunks of sweet mango . And the Mango River was all mango chucks , puree with sago. It's $9.99 each, not cheap but they are in glass containers that you can reuse and repurpose. They also packaged them to go nicely in the resealable red bag. Happy I tried this place and now I'm hooked.

First time here. At first I thought the pricing was overwhelming, but it was delicious. I think the price point accommodates the pricing and the packaging. Paying for the glass container and fresh fruit. I think the people who work there are knowledgeable and friendly. Clean environment with no weird smell. The downside, I will say the mango I got was room temp. I wish I was cold and it would have elevated my dessert more.

I've been to other Venchi locations before, so I knew what to expect -- and like all of them, it delivered. The space is glamorous inside: bright colors and what feels like a million displays of fake ice cream everywhere. But what really made the experience was the guy working the front -- an Italian gentleman with an accent who brought so much authenticity to the whole thing. He was nice, accommodating, super efficient (making cones in between taking orders), and genuinely friendly. Now onto the gelato. My husband usually gets the dark chocolate, which is always a winner. We've had the pistachio before too -- rich, slightly sweet, and earthy. This time I tried the white coffee, which was nutty, sweet, and herbaceous with virtually no bitterness. We also got the coffee crunch: sweet, buttery, with slightly bitter espresso or mocha notes, layered with a satisfying, brittle crunch. The coffee bits weren't overpowering and were small enough to chew easily. And of course, we love getting the waffles coated in chocolate and sprinkles. Highly recommend if you're at UTC and want a little taste of Italy.

This shop on Avenida De La Playa, which is the Main Street closed off from cars, so people can walk freely, but parking is a challenge. The cheese shop can't be missed, with the green ivy covered store front. It's standing round only, no seating inside but limited outside seating. You order from the counter and they bring your order to you if you decide to sit outside. I selected the popular sandwich: Turkey, Jack Cheese and Avocado on sourdough bread with every veggie: lettuce, tomato, red onion was all it had. Just baked from the oven were the famous oatmeal cookies in caramel and chocolate, looked so yummy I didn't order any but the guy behind the counter complementary gifted a pair to me, so nice, friendly and cool!! Inside the shop didn't appear clean, I would describe the ambiance as divey. Sat outside and shortly my order was presented nicely wrapped sandwich and warm cookies. Took pics and took a bite and my consensus is that I was not a fan of this sandwich because I really prefer smoked turkey and not plain turkey. The sandwich looked subpar, the layering of ingredients weren't assembled as aesthetically layered as it can be and tasted just ok. My pup usually doesn't like smoked turkey or unfresh meats but she liked this plain roast turkey, which means it's more likely fresh and pass her approval. She also ate the contents of the sandwich sans the bread and onions of course. The oatmeal cookies were a real treat and lived up to the hype, kind of gooey, yummy and good for you...hence oats is fiber! As a cheese aficionado, this shop is not really a cheese shop with no abundant cheese selections. The shop should just be named sandwich shop, since sandwiches and candies seem to be their cash cows. If you're looking for a cheese shop, this isn't the place, but it might the place for a sandwich. Recommend
