This was one of the first restaurants we visited on our vacation and let me tell you...it was probably my most favorite meal all week! I got the mac & cheese pizza and it was absolutely AMAZING! If you like mac & cheese, and you like pizza, you will LOVE this. So delicious. My first friend had The OG and my second friend had the ribs. They were both very good...the ribs were especially tender and you were almost able to bite through the bone! Brian was our waiter and he was very attentive and helpful with all the questions we had about the menu (he's the one that suggested the ribs!) He also helped with the drink selection...very funny and excellent waiter. I definitely look forward to returning here the next time I come to Myrtle! read more

The pizza selection is amazing and they are famous for the "melts" which are melted sandwiches. The ambiance is casual and the service is wonderful. It's a local place not a chain, which I really appreciate and love. Decent beer selection and we were seated pretty quickly. The Cubano was delicious as was the Green Goddess pizza. read more

Had to look up recommendations for places to eat on the boardwalk, and this place did NOT disappoint! The fries are insanely crispy on the outside and absolutely perfect. The sandwhich was really good! Mouthwatering and SUPER cheesy! I didn't get pictures, but with our party they also got, the Cobb salad, the melt chips, multiple pizzas- the goddess, Corleone, and a pepperoni bacon. Everything was good, no complaints from us! Was surprised when we entered... this place is more of a bar than a restaurant. Very noisy, lots of TVs. Menu was much smaller than the one viewable from here. Cuban sandwich was very good, although I've never had a Cuban sandwich served on Texas Toast as opposed to the usual pressed roll. Service was good, no issues. Delicious pizza, amazing salad, and OMG the chocolate chip bread pudding is to die for! So glad we stopped in while at Broadway at the Beach. The wood fired pizza hit the spot. They have specialty creations but we just went basic and built our own with only sausage as a topping. It was still amazing. The crust was a perfect combination of soft and crunchy. I ate every bit! We also got the pear salad and split it so we each got some with our pizza. Again, delicious! Pear, slivered almonds, blueberries, cranberries, such a great combination. We were stuffed and weren't going to get dessert but I saw that the chocolate chip bread pudding won best dessert in Myrtle Beach for two years so had to give it a try. We ate it all! Amazing! I give Melt 5 stars for their food, but overall a 4 because of the ambience(wish I could do half stars and give them a 4.5). It has a definite bar vibe and smelled of beer (rather than pizza) when we walked in. There are multiple large TVs playing sports and movies and the bar seats were all full and everyone was having a very good (and loud) time. We were all tired from a long day so this made for a less than relaxing meal experience, but if you don't mind a lot of talking and laughter, you'd be fine. We noticed too late that there was outdoor seating - I'd opt for that next time. But the food? Definitely worth a return visit! read more

Such a great atmosphere. This little hole-in-the-wall has set themselves apart from the others at Broadway by being a great friendly bar. Stopped in on a Sunday evening during football season and was greeted with a Game Day Special that was too good to pass up. A bucket of (5) domestic bottles, 6 wings, and a 10"one-topping pizza - all for $20 - so I had to get it. The wings were basic, but very good. Very saucy which I like. The pizza was actually a lot better than I expected so that was a nice surprise. The staff was super-friendly, it seemed like everyone knew one another and after an hour or so, we felt like we were regulars on our first visit! Shelby was behind the bar and took great care of everyone. I cannot wait to come back to Myrtle Beach - as the Melt will be on my list of places to return to for sure. read more

What a terrific find! Couldn't decide between a melt or pizza, so we got one of each. The fried fish melt was delicious, with jalapeño tarter sauce- wow! Served with beer-battered seasoned fries, which were the highlight of the evening. The thin crust basic pizza with sausage was equally delicious. We were seated immediately even though it was 7 o'clock on a Sunday. Our server was pleasant, quick and attentive. Every barstool was occupied, but you couldn't describe this place as a bar with food, nor as a restaurant with a bar- it was the perfect balance of both. Extra seating available upstairs as well. The crowd was mixed, and it wasn't loud at all. The best part- when the check came- only $40 for those two plates and sodas, and we took some home because the portions were so big. read more

Nice atmosphere. Our server Peyton was awesome. The southwest egg rolls were pretty tasty. The pizza was disappointing at least my green goddess pizza. I've had pizza all around the world and this was not it. No flavor in the crust. The sauce was just mediocre. However, my daughter and son (might I add don't have that connoisseurs taste bud just yet) enjoyed their pizzas. Would I revisit this place in the future, possibly to try out their melts, but I'm almost certain if their isn't any flavor that was placed in the pizza, the same would go for their melts. Found this place on yelp and based on the good ratings we decided to try it for lunch. We arrived just after it opened on a Wednesday and were the only customers in there the entire time we had lunch. We were seated in immediately. The server was very pleasant and attentive. The food was very good and different. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The fries were delicious and I ordered a baked potato pizza that was very interesting...in a good way! I enjoyed it very much. It could have used another 30 seconds in the wood fired oven to make the crust a bit crispier but other than that I would recommend it. The toppings were generous and overall a good pizza. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! Ordered 3 chicken melts and a patty melt $60+ bucks! Both my children got immediate diarrhea from the chicken. My patty melt was an overpriced disgusting looking cheeseburger. My husband called and asked for the manager. I never even took a bite of my patty melt because of the texture of the meat and gristle. I wanted our money back on my meal since it was not edible. Not to mention both children getting upset stomachs. The manager or owner (not sure) was extremely sarcastic and unprofessional. Ordered take out for a large group. Hot pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. Everything was fine. They got all the special order details right, and there were plenty of them. I had a chicken Melt sandwich with a Cesar salad and side of Asian slaw. No complaints. Everyone was happy with their orders. When we picked it up we stopped at the fun bar for a round of drinks. So after a brief walk around, hit up Yelp for lunch. Melt seemed to be the perfect option. Yelp said they opened at 11am so standing in front of the door at 11:39am, was baffled by the locked door. And then even more so by the four employees milling about inside. Glancing our direction numerous times and then looking away. We stood there for 5 minutes trying to get their attention. IGNORED! Couldn't be bothered to come to the door and tell is if and what time they WERE opening. THEN tried calling. And at this point you can't be surprised to hear they never picked up. If THAT was the attention they couldn't be bothered to give, then what could be expected inside. What a stunning group of abject failures the staff was for us today. They couldn't make us a side salad that didn't have bacon on it for OVER AN HOUR...DESPITE TWO ATTEMPTS. We ordered 3 things: a small salad without bacon (a member of our group cannot eat bacon), a pizza and a chicken melt. Here's how that salad went... After about 15 min., we got a small salad that had a pile of bacon on it. We kindly asked for a salad without bacon (again). 10 minutes later, we were told the salad was on its way. 20 minutes later, the waiter said he would have them just make the salad to go at this point. 10-15 minutes later, he told us the kitchen staff made the salad again...but again put bacon on it.............. so at this point they gave up on efforts to get us a salad as we were still dining..... HOWWW DOOO YOUUU MANAGE TO NOT BRING OUT AN ITEM THAT DOESNT REQUIRE BEING HEATED UP...FOR OVER AN HOUR....ON TWO ATTEMPTS!!??!? The waiter then told us several times that he would take the salad off the bill. He sounded like he thought he was doing us a favor by not charging us for something we never received.... Before we left, the waiter told us that if we came back tomorrow, we would get a salad for free...........‍ Who knows if this whole issue was because of the waiter or the kitchen staff, as any smart waiter is just going to blame whoever the customer doesn't see so the tip is still decent. It's also worth noting that this was not a busy day in Myrtle Beach. It was a mid-afternoon weekend in mid-October, not dinner rush on a weekend in July. The atmosphere is not much. It's a bar that has some tables and a wood fired pizza oven. There's an outdoor seating area that looks kind of sad. Anyway, I raised my rating up an entire star because the pizza and chicken melt were pretty good. I'd suggest getting the food as takeout here if you're staying closeby or walking around....but for the love of god, don't get the salad without bacon.... read more
