The personal pizzas are all in the $12-14 dollar range. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, I'm used to higher prices for this good of a product and that size. So, the pizza. My Black & Bleu had good chunks of steak. I was happy to see it wasn't Philly steak style pieces. "Garlic Herb EVOO, monterey jack, crumbled bleu, blackened USDA filet, red onions, and tomatoes." The only thing I could have used was more onions and maybe toppings more evenly dispersed. That was a couple hours ago and my husband is still remarking on how good his pepperoni and mushroom pizza was. Had some to bring home. We were greeted by a very nice waitress who was quick in getting our drink orders. Normally I'm not sweet tea drinker, but I wanted some caffeine. I ordered it half and half and it was just right- freshly brewed, not too sweet. It was perfect. For lunch I ordered a side salad and the Thai pizza, no onions, add coconut. The salad was average (iceberg lettuce), but the pizza was amazing. The sweet Thai sauce was on point, the grilled chicken, chopped peanuts, roasted red peppers and coconut were fantastic together. The pizza came out quickly and hot. It was delicious. The cheese oozed just a bit off the crust so that I could grab some toppings and have a bite sans crust. It was so good. I wanted to eat the whole thing but decided I'd be happier having leftovers for lunch the next day. Kudos to our waitress who took 2 orders plus two to-go orders by memory. She was on it. We ended up putting our name in a few places. We actually got into another place, but due to the party, decided to wait out for the pizza. Definitely the wrong choice. Not worth a 100 minute wait. Based on the name, you'd think this place was a California Pizza Kitchen copy. I suppose in name, it is. But the pizza was sub par. We ordered the Thai Chicken and the Sonoma. Both pizzas didn't use a traditional red sauce. Which doesn't bother me, but the sauce replacements were either bland, in the case of the Sonoma or too sweet in the case of the Thai Chicken. The crust was floppy and had minimal texture. It might have been either under cooked or just soggy from the toppings. In either event, it wasn't great. They did top top both pizzas with tons of chicken. But the pulled chicken was dry and didn't have much flavor. Maybe a traditional pizza would have been okay. But I would but recommend either of the pizzas we tried. The wait staff was friendly and the spinach salad was good. read more

Two tables left right after we were seated, wait staff chose to clean those tables right next to us, but no one ever came over to the table in those 15 minutes we were sitting there. This restaurant was not busy, nor was it wrecked from a rush beforehand, so there is no excuse for this. Another group came in well after we did, were greeted immediately after being seated, drink orders were taken, and the waitress didn't even bother to check on us--this same waitress took a to go order while we were waiting as well, and we were ignored yet again. We drove down to Myrtle very early Saturday morning and we had a couple hours to burn before we could check into our rental house. We walked around barefoot landing and found this place. Wasn't expecting much from this place as they seemed understaffed. The place looked quite average, not super fancy. There was only 1 server for around 5-6 tables. They were definitely operating at a much lower capacity for COVID and the server was wearing a mask. We were super hungry and agreed on this medium sized (8 slices) Cali White Pizza. Wow!!! It was so delicious!! Super fresh and cheese was so stringy! The white sauce was delicious and the chicken, cheese, tomato and sauce all went together very well!! We were very hungry but also very surprised so I'm really glad we found this place. The drinks are also pretty good, I got a pink lemonade with vodka and it was pretty cheap too. read more

Before deciding on UCP while the family and I were in Myrtle Beach, the warning I was given from locals and the hotel concierge was that the pizza was great but expect poor service. So we walked in with expectations that things might be slow or the wait staff inattentive. The reality was so much worse than even their warning indicated. My family and I waited for 45 mins after ordering for our food. Two adjacent tables came and left during that time. When we were done I had to walk the check up to the wait staff, by then we just wanted to leave. Were the customer service the only thing being considered, UCP would have gotten a flat zero star review. BUT, their pizza is really good. The high Sierra and pepperoni ones were great. If only they could care for their guests beyond their food UCP would rack in 4 and 5 star reviews consistently. read more

Probably the worst dining experience we've had this week while visiting Myrtle Beach. We went to Barefoot Landing yesterday evening (Saturday) and it wasn't "crowded". Kids were hungry and wanted pizza, so we went to UCP at Barefoot. Should have left upon being seated, but that was our fault. The staff were visibly and audibly arguing amongst themselves (host and wait staff) which carried over to terrible service at table side. I would say there wasn't a "manager" on site because anyone with functioning eyes and ears could have seen and heard this behavior. Would have gave zero stars if this was an option.
