Went to the er and had a horrible experience. I'm pregnant and was severely dehydrated from hours of vomiting to the point of passing out and I had to lay on the floor of the er for hours before being seen. Then after being seen I was judged and mocked for my personal beliefs by the er doctor. I was told that I wasn't having a life threatening emergency and that I just have to ride the course of pregnancy. It wasn't until my family called the er to complain to their superiors that they actually listened to what I wanted and how bad I felt. They also didn't put me in a room with a bed. I was stuck in a room with a chair which wouldn't lay down and I was in there for 7 hours. I just wanted to sleep but I couldn't. I kept asking for blanket and they wouldn't bring any. I was so cold my whole body was shivering and they didn't care. The only genuinely kind employee was the lady who did my ultrasound wearing a hijab. She treated me like a human and not like another task. read more

I had a surgery to get a fibroid removed. My doctor was Dr. Ancar. She was precise, direct, and honest about my process. I was in the surgery for 5 1/2 hours. It was a lot and my first time having surgery. I have been out of surgery for 2 weeks and already getting my strength back. I stay walking and resting. I want to give an excellent shot out to Lizabeth. She is a nurse who was amazing, patience, super sweet, and knowledgeable. I felt very calm with her and at peace. Elizabeth was great as well. I did not spend as much time with her but my nurses were fantastic. It made my stay there super comfortable in the position I was in. My mom is a retired RN and she was very please and impressed with Lizabeth. read more

Doctor took 8 hours to get back with us and only when we told them the patient can afford another night. Only hospital person yo come by was a lady making us sign a document that insurance would not pay be because she is an "outpatient". The patient advocate was a recording. Great patient relations as long as you don't need any help. Terrible experience. read more

I've been here a couple of times, both times for the same very painful condition. The first time I went I was treated wonderfully, with compassion, care and understanding, and they promptly treated me and my pain. Overall a very pleasant visit, and I referred many people there because of my experience. The second time I went, however, it was like an about-face. I was looked down upon, and treated like some lowlife drugger, which I am most certainly NOT. (Besides, I have pain medication at home which obviously was not remotely helping me, hence my visit) The physician was rude (and the staff left something to be desired as well), which, someone who has ever experienced severe pain knows that that's the LAST thing you want while trying to manage your pain emotionally (because it certainly wasn't being managed by them). So I received essentially no treatment the second time around, and this left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. And when I reached out to speak with a higher up in administration about this unpleasant experience, I NEVER received a call back. (Which left an even worse taste in my mouth!) I don't think I'll return truthfully. And that's honestly quite sad because of such a wonderful, wonderful first experience I had there. read more

I have nothing less than the highest regard for every level of staff that I interacted with during my recent six-day stay at Memorial Hermann Cypress. Every staff member was polite, caring, professional, willing to listen, knowledgeable, and all had the patience of a saint. There was also good humor, which kept my spirits lifted and feeling positive about my surgery. If anyone was having a stressful day, I never saw even a glimpse of that and was always treated kindly. I don't know how long Memorial Hermann Cypress has been here but I'm glad it was here. I had a painful abscess that I just couldn't wait until my doctor appointment to treat. I knew my co-pay would be higher going to the ER than an emergency clinic but I'm glad I did because it turned out I needed minor surgery to remove the deeply embedded abscess. I had to stay overnight to be monitored and for follow up. *The facilities are new and clean *All the personnel from the front desk to the surgeon were very polite, professional, attentive and caring. My experience was Marriott meets Medicine. Nice place with Great customer service. read more

If I could give "Memorial Hermann" absolutely NO stars I would..My aunt went to this hospital, she was having medication issues, difficulty walking, muscle twitches, and was feeling VERY uncomfortable. The staff/doctor automatically assumed that she was an emergency room med hopper, trying to get medication for her imaginary "addiction". She had to go to another hospital. And it turns out she has a VERY serious heart problem, and quite possibly ALS...I am quite disgusted of how they treated my aunt. (Btw I wasn't talked into saying these things, I am here on my own consent) -a VERY disappointed 13 year old. read more

Absolutely do not take your loved ones to this hospital. My father was transported there by ambulance due to heart related complications. He was released from the ER and then collapsed in a wheel in the sallyport. He was taken back into the ER and was readmitted. My mother was the only one who was allowed to stay with him due to the limited number of visitors. This all started at around 2100 hours. He was discharged around 0130 hours when he was unresponsive. So around 1115 this morning they were not allowing visitors due to the high number of patients. My mother (85) stayed with my father (85) all night and never left his side. My father has previously coded in this ER. Thankfully he was revived. So here is my issue.. my father had a stroke in the past. He has a hard time communicating with anyone but family. He, according to my mother this morning has been trying to get out of bed. My mother has been calming him down and getting him to lay back down so he doesn't injure himself. Dad, also has a history of falling. My mom was told by the attending nurse that she could walk out to see my sister in the ER waiting room to give her an update. Well once my mother walked out of the room past the double doors my mother was not allowed to return to sit with my father. She had already prevented him from falling out of bed, pulling out probes and IV cath. My mother also acts as an interpreter for my who has speech impairment from his stroke. What disappoints me the most is that my mother was lied to by my fathers nurse and about being allowed to return to his side. I spoke with the charge nurse Sarah!! Absolutely unprofessional. I asked her when she changed the rules on my mother, her response was when she left the room. I asked her who made the decision and she said " I did!" I also asked her if she had the authority to overide her decision and make exceptions and she said, " she could" but said she wouldn't. I have been going to the Hermann Hospital system for over 35 years, after this experience and zero compassion from a nurse, I will not be using them ever again and I pray anyone who reads this heads the writing on the wall about the Charge nurse Sarah at Cypress. I also tried calling Patient relations and spoke with a lady who said she would get back with me. I also contacted Jackie who I was told is the Director of the ER and I still haven't hear back from her either. I just wish this hospital would treat patients like they would their family members. Absolutely unprofessional! At the time of this posting I still havent hear back from I believe Stevie at patient relations nor the ER director Jackie!! I am reaching out to the CEO Hermann, Jerry Ashworth!! This could have all been avoided if the Sarah could have honored the word her nurse gave to my mother. Hello!! My first experience with Memorial Hermann Clinic was last week. I am new to Texas and have the daunting job of finding all new doctors. I have already written a review on my amazing first doctor at this clinic last week and now feel beyond compelled to write another one! I am writing about Dr. Christopher Downing - a dermatologist here at Memorial. During the ongoing Covid crisis- his office gives you a number in advance to text them upon arrival in the parking lot. I was astonished at how quickly they responded and had me come up. They were excellent at following all safety protocols indeed:-) Kaylee who works with Dr. Downing was adorable....very kind and professionally soft spoken. The doctor came in with three facial coverings!! How a doctor can still look that handsome all covered up like that....is a true mystery.....:-) All kidding aside- he had one of the best bedside manners I've ever experienced. When having an entire body check for any possible cancerous markings-utmost attention to detail is highly imperative. He carefully moved along inch by inch in such a precise and respectful way; meriting such confidence and a relaxed atmosphere. I Highly recommend Dr. Downing and his splendiferous staff. One of the Nurse practitioners threatened to call security in front of my children to have us removed from the hospital because I requested to see an actual doctor. I went to this hospital on September 19 because my 9 yr old son was having nasal congestion, headaches, and severe pain in his left eye. I got a call from the school nurse to tell me about the situation. He was seen by this NP, a person with no empathy whatsoever, who just prescribed him Flonase and Claritin and sent him home with the same symptoms. I requested an actual doctor, but the NP told me she was the only one available to see him. I insisted on why nothing was done to check his left eye and insisted I wanted him to be checked by a doctor. She then threatened me to call security if I didn't leave. All this happened in front of my kids. I was not aggressive or raising my voice when I asked her to see a doctor, yet she had the nerve to threaten me in front of my two children. They were so sad and scared after we left the hospital. I had to reassure them multiple times that the police would not be involved. read more

So I have been going to this location for a couple of years. I used to see Dr Toni who was ok but hard to get an appt with. Then, I used to see Ms Crane, who was a PA and was great. But she is no longer there. Today, I went with my daughter because she was having an allergic reaction and had to see Dr Graham. She was so unprofessional, rude, condescending, and wasn't even listening. There was a lot of eye rolling and she gave us the wrong info about an Rx she prescribed. I felt so bad for my daughter who was already uncomfortable. Dr Graham needs some retraining on her bedside manners tbh. Will not be seeing her again. The staff is great and so was the pharmacist. the worst hospital known to man. my dad was sent here 5 years ago after taking a whole bottle of pills with alcohol during a suicide attempt. instead of pumping his stomach and keeping him for the 7-24 hour suicide watch they sent him home 5 hours after being there and he ended up passing away in our home the very next day. then a couple months ago my sister was having seizures minutes apart which isn't normal for her at all. she had a total of 32 seizures and the ambulance could only take her to this hospital when she arrived they did testing and set her in a chair while she was sleeping all slumped over and not conscious at all. THEN they said she was fine to go home.. we argued to keep her atleast over night and thank god we did bc she had 3 more seizures throughout the night. this hospital doesn't know what they are doing one bit i will forever hate this hospital and the people working here. they killed my dad and could've been my sister to if we didn't argue to keep her overnight. please keep your loved ones safe and go anywhere else but here read more

I had an appointment to see Dr. Monique Graham three weeks ago but I was told I needed to arrive 30mims prior, 5 mins past that 30 and my appointment wasn't until 4:00pm and I arrived at 3:35 I was turned away and had to be rescheduled. I finally was able to get an appointment 2 weeks later and let's just say I wish I wouldn't have waited. The front desk staff is very friendly and patient, however her MA "Toni" is dry and cold. I told her I don't want any vitals taken nor did I want to step on the scale and she told me " You have no choice". First of all I am a PATIENT, I have patient rights. Dr. graham comes in shortly after, and let me just say her bedside manner is terrible, she rolled her eyes at every answer I gave her Although she was asking me these questions. She also continue to roll her neck and shake her head sideways and told me that I needed to do better with my situation. I wish I would've read these reviews about her being such a horrible doctor and very unprofessional because I would've canceled my appointment and went elsewhere I will not be returning. It's just too bad that it's very close to my house. Morial Herman needs to do better and she probably needs to go back to school and the ones she has so many open available appointment times. read more

If I could rate this zero stars, I would. First of all, I came to this doctor because I needed an annual physical and health check up. The front desk receptionist ladies were very nice and welcoming. There were about three to four people who came in after me and all of them got called before me. After waiting about twenty five minutes, I finally got called back. I then waited for my new Dr. , Monique Graham. Once she entered the room, from the very beginning she had a horrible attitude and shook my hand sideways. It was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever experienced. Especially from a doctor. I couldn't even do what I wanted to have done for my health because of the way everything went down. When she was asking me questions she had a horrible attitude and kept slightly rolling her eyes. Then, it seemed like she kept getting annoyed when I was answering the questions THAT SHE WAS ASKING ME. She made me feel very uncomfortable and I WILL NOT be returning to this doctor ever again. I highly DO NOT recommend using this doctor. No wonder she has so many open appointment times. read more

I just recently went in for a scheduled gallbladder removal surgery and let me say that I absolutely love this hospital! Every staff member I spoke with were very friendly and helpful to me. It's a great thing not only because it makes you feel good when they value your feelings, but it really eases your nerves before any procedure is being done. I would not ever recommend this place for any type of imaging or outpatient services, balance billing with no flexibility on discounting. Was told up front that everything had been preapproved through insurance and I was showing a zero out of pocket. Billed the insurance company $4,637 for a simple MRI without any contrast and billed me personally for over $1,000. I called as I was upset that I was told I would not have any out of pocket costs and they were not helpful and would not negotiate off of their bill. On top of that their "third party" Radiologist sends me another bill for $200. What a joke, this is why our Health Care system is broken-over billing the insurance company, then turning around and gouging the patient. read more

Be aware of unfair pricing. Received my invoice for 1 hour of Physical Therapy and "Billed Charges" came out to be $854.50. I have called Aetna, my insurance carrier and filled a complaint. Places like these are the reasons why we pay more every year for medical insurance. read more
