Last year was a decision year as the AC unit had leaks and was completely empty during the first heat wave. Matt quickly worked with us to recommend a patch and fill for the year but recommended possibly saving for a future replacement. In addition, the particular coolant prices skyrocketed globally as they stopped making it. We had other options, but none ideal. Well the patch worked for the complete summer!! A pretty inexpensive fix overall. Fast forward to now - the AC coolant was bone dry again. After testing the unit, there were many leaks. Another decision to be made.. Coolant still prices on the rise... A unit now leaking badly... After discussing a few remaining options with Matt, the decision was clear and we decided to replace the aging AC system.
