So yummy! I love the vibe of this place with the indoor outdoor seating. The street being blocked off really gives a European feel. The inside is small, but feels even more like Europe. Food was delicious. I ordered the spaghetti with clams and our waiter suggested the linguini frutti di mare with the clam sauce and it was TO DIE FOR. Just what I wanted. The waiter was so nice and helpful with picking out and giving suggestions.

Beautiful eclectic, setting with delightful food to match! If you need a place where the appetizers are delicious and the service is great this is your spot. I have never had grilled octopus cooked to that level of perfection......chef's kiss. So much so, I had to make sure and double back. The remainder of the meal was also delicious.... I will visit every time I'm in town for sure!!!

While this restaurant is on the very touristy Espanola Way, the food is not touristy at all - meaning it's really good. We had lunch here during Miami Spice. We did have to ask for the Miami Spice menu - they took us for tourists who didn't know any better ;) The Miami Spice entree portion was a tad small, but overall excellent flavors and fresh food - the salmon was delicious with crispy skin over a corn puree. I can't remember the last time I had salmon that good! The appetizer was a more generous portion of two good-sized meatballs with bread. Also very delicious. Dessert was decent - a decadent chocolate cake. I would recommend the cake over the key lime pie. Friendly service and beautiful vibes sitting outside and people watching.

We had a corporate dinner here. Everything went well - seated promptly, the food was great and the service was prompt. I heard great things about everyone's entrees.

    Top of menu.

While in South Beach waiting to see the iconic buildings light up, we came to this restaurant.for some appetizers and drinks. Although it was Saturday afternoon, we were greeted at the entrance and seated promptly by a friendly hostess. We were seated outside near the walkway and were able to people watch. It is fun to watch the thousands of people walk around in their vacation costumes, trying to imitate 1950's Cubans. I ordered a negroni and my wife ordered a watermelon martini. Both drinks arrived and were absolutely fabulous. We ordered the bruschetta as our appetizer. The bruschetta arrived and was excellent taste. Our friend ordered octopus and oysters (I do not like those items and did not partake in that). He said they were pretty good. (I'll take his word for it). This restaurant is in a tourist trap area and is pretty expensive. One thing to be away of in this restaurant is that they automatically add a 20% gratuity. This practice is common in South Beach, so be aware.

10/10 they allowed us to use the happy hour. Not sure if they do it with everyone. Good was delicious. Reasonable portions. Loved the Bread that came with dinner. We also got the bread cheese plate and it was beautiful. Couldn't pick a better place to sit and enjoy the street.

I have to confess that coming to Miami Beach for dinner... is not my favorite thing to do, but there are a few restaurants that keep me coming back and Mercato Della Pescheria is one of them. Located in the best part of Hispañola Way. Nice ambiance and always happy people. The service here is very friendly and attentive. NOTE: If you want to have a calmed dinner it is probably better to eat in the inside dining area. This restaurant is very seafood forward so we always try to eat from their specialty dishes. This occasion we had Octopus carpaccio (Delicious), the spaghetti vongole and the paccheri seafood special (if they have it "order it.") It is simply delicious ... the sauce is divine. Prices here are normal for Miami Beach but the food is incredibly good. You will not be disappointed.

We went back for more meatballs! Meatballs & Ricotta Cheese Appetizer is delicious! We also had the Italian Chopped Salad which was very good. My husband had Franco's Espresso Martini and it was amazing! I highly recommend it!

Came to Mercato for a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance, food, and service. I've been meaning to come by so this was a great opportunity to do so. We sat inside as Miami summers can be really warm and the decor was really great. Our server was friendly and attentive despite it being a large table. To start with, I tried the calamari and eggplant Parmesan. The flavors were not point but the eggplant was a bit soggy and falling apart. I had a glass of Prosecco and it was crisp and delicious. For the main entree I ordered the Cacio e Pepe where the come with the parm wheel. I will say while it was a good portion and good flavor, it did lack pepper which is the base of the dish. I also ordered a side of broccolini which was fresh and tasty. The bread they bring to the table was also warm, fresh and delicious. Overall, this is a great spot in the middle of Española Way and is super lively on the weekends. Would definitely come back!

Stopped in for dinner the night before our cruise with friends who have been here a few times and raved about the food, service and atmosphere. We were greeted by a really funny and friendly guy who sat us. The server was real friendly as well and super helpful with the menu. We had the truffle mushroom risotto and the wife had the Cacio e pepe alla ruota and both were AMAZING. The risotto had tons of mushrooms and fresh truffle taste. The Cacio e Pepe was perfect. The pasta was fresh and the sauce had that peppery bite you'd expect. Can't wait to stop back in for dinner again in a few months.

We've been to this restaurant several times, even in LasVegas which wasn't as good as this place. We went there the other day and as soon as we sat down I noticed there wasn't a tomato can on the table with bread. We asked for some bread and they are now charging for bread. I wonder if it's new owners, the food was now okay, there are so many restaurants around this area that we will be trying, unfortunately we will not be going back to this place

Walking in you get that old school feel with the staff dressed to the tee and very friendly. They had a special pre fixe menu that was fairly priced which allowed me to try a lot of the menu instead of having to order a la carte. Our server was professional and terse but in a way that I didn't mind and he even scolded some other busboys for taking too long to clear our table which I found funny but appreciated too. I started with the Stuffies which were amazing! The baked clams were dressed up nicely and these were very tasty. The stone crabs were delicious and I loved the dipping sauce it came with. Granted we visited outside of stone crab season and so I'd love to come back when the crabs are more fresh and in season. It also came with sides of hash browns, creamed spinach, and a grilled tomato. While I appreciate the quantity and variety they gave, these sides were a miss for me. The pre fixe concluded with my choice of the Key Lime Pie which was a nice ending for the meal. Nicely balanced between tart and sweetness. My only note would be for the crust layer to be bigger since it would help balance out the pie portion a bit better. We also got the fried chicken which is a steal for only $9. Excellent and crispy skin and very moist! The only dry piece was the breast unfortunately, but otherwise it's hard to find a better fried chicken at this price.

If you're ordering ceviche, I'd skip the mixed seafood and stick with the fish-only options. The red snapper was easily my favorite dish of the night. But, when I saw they were advertising a Lamb Gyro for $12 (Tuesdays), I took the leap. Seems it wasn't that far to jump. Although there were table cloths, cloth napkins and silverware, with room for a true dining experience, the fan sitting atop the bar, (blowing-off more air than necessary), and the plastic plants on the walls/ceilings threw-off any pretense I had of the place. When I requested the Lamb Gyro, the server pointed to an entree on the menu for me to approve. I made sure there wasn't another (re: pricier) offer. There was... it was the one he suggested. The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside). They certainly weren't cut fresh from a spit, as they were old and nearly tasteless. The included slices of onion and peppers, delegated to the pita bottom, (instead of intermingling) barely helped. The French fries (included in the price) were the most flavorful part of the meal; although, they were an insult, rather than accompaniment to the experience. And, was that Latin (instead of traditional Greek) music coming from the speakers? Along with a 20% "Administrative" fee, I won't be tempted to venture in again.
