We came here to watch a sports game and try their vegan food. This place has its own vegan menu. We weren't that hungry so we split the Vegan Combo shareable plate, consisting of vegan chicken nugget tenders, vegan buffalo chicken tenders, vegan impossible sliders, and vegan cheese quesadilla with guacamole, vegan sour cream, vegan blue cheese, BBQ sauce, and vegan honey mustard dressing for dipping. The food came out pretty fast even though it was pretty busy when we came. There is a decent amount of seating indoors. This place is very spirited with string lights and a bunch of televisions. There is a full bar as well. Our waitress was very attentive and courteous. Overall, we enjoyed this place and would return.

Stopped in last night to end out night with a few drinks . Bartender was really chill and made us feel more than welcomed . We had 2 green tea shots and 2 lemon drops and the Bartender even water backed us. The green tea shotwls we somethjng we wanted to just try cause we never heard of them and they were soooo good qe did 2 sets. The lemon drops were good as well. The water definitely helped with the back to back drinks. The music and atmosphere was on point. Truly enjoyed our 1st time at Mercury. We'll definitely be back !

Mercury Bar West - Hell's Kitchen, NYC Boomsauce Score: BS +++ (Amazing location! now that's boomsauce!) This spot is pure energy. Mercury Bar West is where rowdy meets reliable--a place that knows how to party but still delivers on quality. It's one of the few places where being vegan-friendly doesn't mean compromising flavor. Their dedicated vegan menu is stacked with options that actually taste like something you'd crave. Your go-to waitress? Soft-spoken, Latina, and consistently on point. That kind of consistency is rare in NYC, and it's part of what makes this place feel like a pre-show ritual. Whether you're headed to a concert or a Broadway play, Mercury Bar sets the tone. The vibe? Clean, old-school chic seating, chill crowd, and a menu that'll make you drool if you know how to order. The drinks? Let's just say they'll have you leaning into the night with a smile. And the staff? They hustle hard--so tip generously. If you're looking for a spot that blends fun, flavor, and familiarity, Mercury Bar West is it. You can check out their full vegan menu and more on Mercury Bar's official site. --- Boomsauce Scale: B - basura (trash) BS - basic (come on! Try harder) BS + - better (Yo! That's better) BS ++ - best (alright! Alright! Alrightttt!) BS +++ - Amazing location! now that's boomsauce!

Great place to brunch! Food is super tasty and they serve brunch until 4pm on weekends. Huevos rancheros is tasty but a small portion so I would avoid it if you're really hungry. Super nice staff and great service! Fun ambiance, not super packed on a random Saturday afternoon but plays good music with lots of TVs (great for game days!)

This is a great option for happy hour! We were seated immediately and it was nice to get away from the cold weather. The food was standard bar food. Overall happy with the experience.

I came here with my boyfriend on a Thursday night for dinner. We got here around 6:45 p.m. and had no problem getting a table. He ordered the fish 'n' chips and I had the grilled salmon wrap with onion rings. The wrap was delicious, as were the onion rings and the fried fish. The fries were mostly batter and very little potato. The portions were generous for the price, and I took half my wrap home. I thought Mercury was a great casual sports bar. It looks like they have good happy hour deals, too!

Still my favorite place to watch a game and have brunch on Sunday. Best Bloody Mary's, great egg dishes and probably the best French Toast ever! Dont forget to add bacon!!! Always a good game on the TVs and a super chill vibe.

Great vibe! This bar is located in Hell Kitchen, close to Times Square. It is about a 7 to 10 mins walk from Times Square. The bar has excellent food and drinks. They also have Happy Hour on the weekday from 11 am to 8 pm. The last time I came, I ordered my regular Angry Orchard and a NY Burger as my entree. The services were excellent. The workers were very attentive as we were dining in. A lot of people come here to chill and watch sports. As the night goes on, the bar does get crowded. My friends and I came early around 5 pm, so it wasn't so bad. We were able to get a table real quick. We loved it!

So again, in full disclosure, I love it here. So much so, I took the train from Brooklyn to stop by the bar the day after thanksgiving to get away from my family . The bar was not fully packed but it was perfect. I watched the Nets game? Had the pork sliders and several appletini (reason for not driving). They had the perfect amount of vodka as per usual. The bartender was amazing and my food was perfect. I'm sure this will not be my last time coming here this year

Can someone mention the drink prices? Kind of weird to me that there aren't any prices on their menu photos.

Cocktails are around 8 dollars. The beers are around 6.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears.
