We weren't that hungry so we split the Vegan Combo shareable plate, consisting of vegan chicken nugget tenders, vegan buffalo chicken tenders, vegan impossible sliders, and vegan cheese quesadilla with guacamole, vegan sour cream, vegan blue cheese, BBQ sauce, and vegan honey mustard dressing for dipping. The fajitas were the first thing I ever ordered here and they are still on par as back then. The wings are the best in the neighborhood because they have meat on them, great flavor, and aren't overcooked or gamey. He ordered the fish 'n' chips and I had the grilled salmon wrap with onion rings. The wrap was delicious, as were the onion rings and the fried fish. Great vibe! This bar is located in Hell Kitchen, close to Times Square. It is about a 7 to 10 mins walk from Times Square. The bar has excellent food and drinks. They also have Happy Hour on the weekday from 11 am to 8 pm. The last time I came, I ordered my regular Angry Orchard and a NY Burger as my entree. The services were excellent. The workers were very attentive as we were dining in. A lot of people come here to chill and watch sports. As the night goes on, the bar does get crowded. My friends and I came early around 5 pm, so it wasn't so bad. We were able to get a table real quick. We loved it! read more

I came here the other night as part of the Tippler. This place was absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Mercury is just one of those old school NY typical bars maybe from the 90's or early 2000's. I like the vibe and like the flow always. One thing I love too is that even during the week, you can still catch a late game like if the Yankees are on the west coast- seem to close like 11:45 to 12:15 in that range so yea. The Tippler had me to come here most recently and that was a few months back. Look forward to coming here again and checking out this place again. As tourists in town we stopped in here for a couple of drinks and to relax. Got seated at the bar, there was a Knicks / Celtics playoff game going on so there was lots of great energy in the bar. I found mercury bar off of the casa del sol Website, I was looking to try it as I had just saw it on the real housewives of beverly hills. As it is kathy and nicky hiltons new investment, and wow were they right to choose this brand! Casa Del Sol Blanco tequilla Is a delicious blanco that works well on its on as a shot/ neat or perfect as a mixer I had it as a shot ( didnt even need it chilled) and then as my choice tequila in mercury bars blood orange margarita which i had minus the patron orange citronage was simply delicious!! My bartender whose name i didnt catch was on point and gave great service so i will definitely be back! I also ended up making some new friends and got them to try and buy casa del sol as well! This is one of my go-to places for vegan food in Hell's Kitchen (& there aren't a lot of vegan friendly places in this area). Everything I've ordered off of the vegan menu was good. The only criticism I have is with the service on a couple of occasions. One time, there was confusion about which drinks were eligible for happy hour pricing-- as a group we informed the waitress that we wanted to take advantage of the happy hour deals; however, she failed to inform us that the drinks we ordered were not eligible for happy hour pricing. Another time, I placed a delivery order for the vegan brunch pizza & requested to sub the vegan sausage for vegan bacon; 20 min later I showed up to pick up my order and that's when they asked me if it's OK if it's made with regular bacon since they were out of vegan bacon. It makes no sense to me why they would do this without calling me first. I had to wait 15 more min for them to remake the pizza with the vegan sausage. They did discount me for the inconvenience, but it just baffled me that this kinda error could happen in the first place. read more

It reminded me of the flavors in a pina colada, without the dessert-like feel. The Perfect Kiss was a perfect balance of flavors, capturing the sweetness one looks for in a tropical drink without skimping on the alcohol content, while still managing to be easy and enjoyable to drink. There was Happy hr until 8pm & there was a great variety of wine's, beers, cocktails. & margaritas. I found it weird that the Happy hr menu didn't have the prices listed. I knew the prices because I looked at the specials on the website before I arrived. I requested to watch a specific NBA game, and Oliver changed the TV for me to watch it. I ordered the guacamole. It was a larger portion than I expected. It was great for 2 people or a light meal for 1. Next, I ordered the Mercury Combo Platter plate. It was delicious. My friend and I shared it. Normally I would have gone to a place around the corner but was feeling spontaneous and the Leprechauns spitting up rainbows on the patio was a siren song I could not ignore. I haven't been to Mercury Bar East or West in a minute. But I was genuinely surprised on how decent everything somewhat was. The east side location is actually a detroit lions/msu spartans sports bar. Shoutout for that. Came in here looking for happy hour with a friend before a movie and cheap eats. Pretty decent deal with $5 beers, $6 wines, and $7 martinis/margaritas until 8pm. I love me some 8 o'clock extended happy hours. I was not impressed with any of the beers they had on tap and I'm pretty sure Bud and Coors were like the happy hour options so I decided to be adventurous and go with a cosmopolitan. This is something I would probably never order. I'm not Carrie Bradshaw. Vomit. It tasted like rubbing alcohol with a splash of cran. Kind of what I expected. What separates this from being a 3 - star review I'd honestly say I was floored by how good our food was. I mean it was still garbage bar food but tasted really great. We got the loaded tots smothered with mac and cheese. Trust me in that this is really amazing. It sounds weird as hell but the mac and cheese was better than average and I think there was truffle oil in it? It was jazzy, a huge portion, and affordable. We also split an order of their spinach artichoke dip which was also just as flavorful and cheesy and so many cheese pulls but I didn't take any photos of the cheese dripping everywhere because we were cold and starving.
